#Building a fleet
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
These are all my ships. Idk anything about the game. So need some help building a fleet
Thx
I feel like my front line is lacking
I mean I can do
If I have the resources for it

I'm poor on gold. Heard 12:4 is good for farming gold. Just that I'm too weak for it.
So what you need to know first is that you need to optimize your fleet and change depending on the content
yes
And there are 2 fleet types, mob fleet and boss fleet
Idk much about the game
Luo, does an shan event give away a free retro material
Ye heads that from the game
I am telling you
Not sure
Mob fleet for defeating mobs till boss fleet comes
Then like full dps or so on boss fleet
So for mob fleet you want healer
For boss fleet you dont want healer unless its very specific situation in w14
I heard unicorn or perseus are good
Unicorn is good but perseus is not
Hmm
Because unicorn is just better
Why perseus ex tier?
As a damage dealer
Because the ppl that make the tierlist dont update that shit
A lotta stuff there are outdated af but still good for noobs as a reference until they can form their own opinions
Yep this one
I am specifically talking about this one
could be worse but time for you to start thinking for yourself
There seems to be a lot of brain stuff
Involved
Probably gonna have to memorised a lot
I will try
if you want to be super optimal about it yeah
Okay so first you gotta do to get better is completely ignore the tiers, ships should be swapped around depending on your situation so some low tiered ships are absolutely great in some content
it honestly isn't too difficult after you get the basics down
High tier doesnt automatically mean best in slot everywhere
How do we know which ones are good in which situation?
Ill tell you
I thought the UR ships best?
not for every situation
There seems to be 400 ships
Idk if I can memorise all of them

So for mob fleet, you want healer, and only unicorn is enough, if you want extra heals you can pair unicorn with volga/aquila/klaudia
Also the website good for gear on ship?
for the most part yes
Yes until you can form your own opinions
Got it
Leftmost ship in your frontline is the tank, they take the most damage and you should put the tankiest ship there
And no the ships class dont mean tankiness
A ca doesnt mean shes automatically a tank
apparently an shan does not get her retro item with this event
@crisp heart have you bought this month's UR bulin yet
actually, how much specialized core do you have
Money?
have you read their newb guide?
618
the main story part in particular is oudated but you'll get the basics
No
specialized core and not protocore
give it a quick read then, like I said not everything is true anymore but it'll give you a decent base
Ca is heavy cruiser, cl is light cruiser, cb is large cruiser, dd is destroyer, and thats all the major frontline classes
618 sounds like an amount of protocore
The classes generally has a behavior, like a lot of the best tanks are cbs, but that dont really mean anything cuz there are exceptions everywhere
So dont assume a ships role by just their classes, actually take your time to look at the stats and skills of the ships,
Generally, you want damage dealers on boss fleet
Your highest damage dealers
And helena is great there bc she straight up multiplies your teams dmg
What means AA?
Anti air, your ships can shoot down enemy planes with their anti air guns
FdG Volga Unicorn, Eugen Laffey terrible
Vanguard UvH Enterprise, Kronshtadt Helena Portland
(for temporary grind purposes)
What world are you on?
Anti air really isnt a concern until chapter 13 and 14
11:1
ok
Boss fleet had trouble vs 10:4
skip FdG until you get d30
Hmm
My brain
Fries with all the information
Yeah just absorb it, it isnt that complicated
I didnt even get into anything yet
Vanguard Volga Unicorn, Eugen Laffey terrible
Kaga UvH Enterprise, Kronshtadt Helena Portland
this is ok
and then
for a real fleet
So when you dont shoot down enemy planes, they fly and crash to your backline ships and do damage
after you get into w12 and safe 12-1, it's a significantly easy world to powerlevel your ships for content
On maps like chapter 13 there are a TON of them
teach him the game after he has w12

Meaning anti air is the priority
I'm reading the classes rn
With the website u gave me
My brain is mushed

Only got a few things down
But mostly didn't get much
Read this entire thing for fleet building
Dont bother with the ship names and shit
Youll know in time
Just know what you need in a fleet from this guide
he already has an shan
Ok but he dunno why he has a fleet of x and y
Better to just yk know what to put
So in the future his team dont revert back to cursed shit

yeah, i just subscribe to making a fleet then explaining after the fact
same
explain by example
like i can explain the roles of each ship here
but seems like he's reading
What does stagger dmg mean
spreading damage out over time
making sure mostly your main fleet ships don't attack at the same time
it's especially important in mobbing as you face a relatively low health enemies but a fair few of them and they come in waves
when did u start playing
if you don't stagger your left potentially in a position where your ships can't kill the enemies mainly elites causing your fleet to take much more damage than it should potentially killing the run
given that they have Le Terrible at least October of 2021
A few weeks ago
i see
that explains a lot
ya
just so you know this is against TOS right?
not gonna report you but this can get the account banned and deleted if found out.
same
i dont wanna see account die
just return it and start a new one or something
ah well
ill keep fleet building later
I didn't really do much but thanks for the thought
ye
