Like helldiver is better than all the gold divebombers except 1
406 mk6 is better than every he gun in the game for shelling dmg except the rainbow gun

A counter example of a high rarity equip being bad in general is the 460 mm (rainbow gun from musashi event), it is literally worse than 410 (pr1 AP gun) when you use helena, and helena is the best dmg enabler in the game
And it is worse than 457 when you dont use helena except uvh and musashi
And ofc most gold equips are bad but we dont talk about those
