I know rarity isnt everything so I'm hoping some of these are an the better side
If yall have any tips on how to build formations I more than willingly to take the help, thanks in advance!
Lets see
You didnt play during ryza collab?
Put portland to boss fleet replacing minneapolis
Remove indianapolis
Put minneapolis to tank in mob fleet
And uh, one thing to take note of: a lotta synergies only work if the ship getting buffed is already good
I just started a few days ago
So if a ship is trash, after getting a buff, shes still trash
Damn this game is hardcore lmao
Indianapolis sadly is one of those ships
So i gotta learn whats not trash first

Rip
Ye dw its more simple than you think
Buy helena from guild shop and level her up
Once shes leveled, slap to boss fleet and put her in middle
She has 60% chance to multiply your teams damage by 1.4x every 20 seconds
Making her the best damage enabler in this game
Can you check your medal shop to see whos on sale?
Sure
Medal shop is a very good way to get op ships early for free
So if you see enterprise for sale there, gg
oh ya get enterprise
enterprise is probably the strongest ship youll get early game
oh, then no worries, you can farm the campaign and retire the duplicate ships you get from drops
then you get medals that way, and buy enterprise
Oh shoot that's what's up, enty it is when the medals gather round
ye, if you play diligently you can get 80 medals in a single day
so that isnt an issue
So indy sucks, good to know, replace with Minneapolis
I still have to learn where/what to farm but we're crawling there
can slot javelin in for now
oh, just farm highest stage you can clear
then move on to higher stage
until chapter 9\
Oh thats way simpler than I was imagining then
Was thinking like a mobile game lol
Javelin replaces yukikaze?
replace indianappolis
Roger
cuz once you remove indy you finna have an empty slot
generally, the ships that are exclusive to drops, like akagi and kaga, are not worth it
like the drop rate is 0.75% so youd be malding to get one
and even if you get both for either of them to work, they arent even amazing
they are just ok, and good at carrying noobs
not worth the effort
I'm glad yall told me, first thing the YT vid I saw was telling us to grind 3-4 after unlocking 🤣
oh ya dont watch youtube vids on azur lane
most yt guides for this game suck balls
99% of them are garbage
and the 1% are from ppl that literally post on this server
Bro straight up why I came here, and the reddit is even worse
I fw this server, glad its not just the h*ntai
Good question
also, in a week, we are going to have a rainbow event
rainbow events are events where a rainbow ship will be on rate up, the rate is quite low, but theres a hard pity
I'm saving whatever is left for the rainbow thing
the hard pity is 400 cubes
200 pulls
ppl usually save for months for rainbow events
18 cu es left
since you are new, you should just try to save as much as you can
Alright, can do that
ah, ye, generally you should not pull the permanent banners bc of this
the events are way better
and rainbow events are way better than events
Good thing I found yall with a week to save for it
ye, and next year, we are going to have 4 rainbow events
so roughly 1 rainbow event every 3 months
like this year
Oh wow they're sparse
ye they cost 400 cubes lmao
400 cubes is a lot
granted you prolly wont spend whole 400 to get the rainbow ship
That's still crazy, isn't like 400 gems to get cubes? That's like hella money if you just try buying pity
ye, good thing is that it is really easy to earn cubes if you play everyday
like just from your dailies and stuff
you roughly earn around 160 cubes a month
from just free to play sources
Been playing for the last 3 days or so and you are 100%
Had a few with all the noob missions and challenges getting completed
Now I still have some noob stuff but gotta be smarter about it
oh and to help you identify which ships are decent
check this tierlist, ik tierlists arent great but this is good for reference for noobs
it also has good gear guide
later on in lategame or endgame, you stop looking at this because it becomes a rock paper scissors game
and you will know which are good at countering what content, hopefully
At that point I better understand the game lmao
ye
Nah this is good stuff, been tryna find this info since I started it up
it has a great gear guide too, if you click open a ship, it will show you the suggested gear to put on her
Like didn't even know I could craft the tech boxes up tier
and on the bottom theres always poverty gear you can get from purple boxes
That's freakin great 😂
https://azurlane.koumakan.jp/wiki/User:Samheart564/Farming_Guide and this is for if you want more in depth farming guide
later on, when you unlock research (probably the most important system in this game), read this too
Man this is hella nice, I appreciate you showing my the ropes here
ye thats about all, oh and when you unlock operation siren gamemode, make sure you do it
a lotta noobs get scared by operation siren because you can make 4 fleets instead of 2 there, but really its not that hard
So I saw that, but how does it work?
basically, it looks really complicated right, a lotta different currencies and materials
but all you do is
you see any stage with a fancy marker on it? you do it
do them all until the map is empty and blue
you dont worry about the drops or currency or whatever
just do all the stages that you see that has anything marked on it
Oh bet, I cant participate till my fleet is stronger, tells me my atk preference isnt met
oh and do the easiest stages first
ya, and also, operation siren only need 2 fleets for the most part
you can ignore the 4 fleets stuff, those are for the super bosses in opsi
you dont worry about those for now
its the boss in the center of the map once you finish the operation siren story
Sheesh heard that, this game is leagues in difference from the switch version
