Shinano's there as a third for Kii's buff, but I suppose I can switch her out for another IJN if I get one

Kii buff doesn't matter, your mob fleet is way too strong compared to boss fleet

You probably also need better gear unless you're willing to manual. The ships are 10 levels above the enemy which is quite high
