Roon/Bellona/Sandy sounds like a pretty good w13 vanguard to me, and Monarch/Vanguard/Ark sounds like it would work.

Yeah, that should be fine for boss fleet. I'd probably go Vanguard/Monarch/Enterprise instead of Ark though. The vanguard is fine if you replace Mainz with Sandy

If you have issues with your main fleet dying to planes, you can easily go double CV for the boss fleet as well.

He can run double BB boss it's fine, just put both ches and sandy in a fleet to counteract
