many of the builds were not sanity checked, or were written by people who haven't played the game in a while, and are outright wrong
for example: Cassard recommends torp build with swift fish and BFT, which is obviously incorrect in several ways

when in doubt for a BB: use the standard BB tank build (can swap 2pt AA+consumables out for traverse or Brisk)

German BBs don't want to build secondaries, and the battlecruiser line swaps either Fire Prevention or 4pt repair for ManSex, and IRPR for sec range

As most of my games where I win come from DD focus and ignoring their CV because usually he leaves me alone and often I have one flank that needs help, so that's where I stand, but again that's just my opinion and how I've gotten to where I am as a player.

50 knot base speed, they don't hit things often

Z52 is a much better ship for a torp focused playstyle since they are fast and reload very quickly
