take for example, you are playing a hindenburg
there is 27 BBs at T10, of which 22 of them ignore your bow armor, and 13 of them ignore literally ALL of your armor
of the 13 that ignore all of your armor, TWO of them are known for being inaccurate (Preussen and Repub), the rest are all very accurate and consistent
and 5 of the 13 BBs that ignore all of your armor are stealthier than you

this is not taking into account things like Colombo SAP, or bullshit like Libertad or Schlieffen which don't even have to use main guns to shred you before you can do anything to them

this is the experience of basically every cruiser that isn't Napoli or the Russian heavies

this is why basically no one plays cruisers

Rule to play CA and CL:
From the lord and savior of what Yuro mention: the best cruiser player is the one that avoids taking dmg at all
Stop shooting BB first.. yes those are ez targets... but you are not really gonna take one down on time.
CA and CL job is to hunt destroyers and other cruisers... stop going for other BB first. Go after DD first... especially if your a CL. Destroying a DD will also give your own team BB motivation boosts.
And stop always shooting when an enemy is spotted... this increasese your chance to get killed. Its best let your own BB shoot first... then follow suite. But its always best to kill a DD or other cruisers first

playing a cruiser is simple: STOP SHOOTING THOSE BB

and do other things of what a cruiser is meant to do: cover fire your own DD, provide AA cover, spot enemies that are hidden, and sink your own kind

2.8km conceal, 2x4 torps with 14.9 second reload + reload booster, 11k damage boosted up to 53% depending on current ship speed, 105kts speed. One of the blessings you can get reduces all reload by 50% for 90 seconds, meaning you can spit out 120 torps in a minute and a half. Thats roughly 2 MILLION potential damage in a minute and a half (Although you wont get anywhere close to that bc of saturation, torp reduction, etc.)

I dropped the normal diff bosses HP from 100% to 40% with one reload blessing and constant torp spam

I might have to play the garbage stat BB so I can actually have some struggle

Its funny bc on PC, both Cali and Tenn suck, but on Legends, theyre super good

our tiers are 1 lower than pc, but that still makes your Cali/Tenn 2 tiers hier than ours

Ours are 5, yours are 8 apparently

So you play with up to T10s, which for us would be jumping all the way to Legendary tier (a 4 tier jump)

Although an L tier CV battle with Cali would be pretty funny bc her AA is stupid good

IJN BBs have greater than average vertical dispersion. For broadsides it's worse because you'll miss the short and wide area you want to hit. For targets where you're looking down the length of the ship, you'll get more hits than other nation's BBs in theory. It doesn't work that way in practice so much.

I had a Ranger (before the CV changes) focus me from beginning of the game to end and never hit me ONCE while I was in California
He lost 36 planes (which at the time would have been 6 FULL squadrons )

I like Gneisenauas a ship, although her smaller guns does make it a bit more difficult, and the german dispersion doesnt help when she only has 6 of them

and also specifically like 5-9pm on most weekdays
