The sheer firepower is paired with a unique shell parameters where it would immediately arm on thin plating on oblique angles, thus dealing maximum damage against puny destroyers and inferior cruisers, and at the same time allows wide tactical advantage against battleships due to ability to ignore their angling completely.

Tiger '59 enjoys a wide array of consumables that, if build and used correctly, would be her greatest strength. The short radar range of 9 km might be disappointing, but it makes enemies underestimates you. Given that max out concealment of Tiger '59 is 9.2 km, this leaves out very tiny window of reaction for DDs to leave your kill zone. Not only that, if things goes south, one can always pop the smoke consumable. This deadly combination of smoke and radar makes her far more powerful than any cruisers both below and above her bracket. DDs would be scared shitless by the sheer surprise mechanics Tiger has.

In addition, Tiger '59 is small and thinly armored, which as we know in Smolensk is a recipe for invincible ship due to BB AP's overpenetration tendencies. If build correctly, one can even go open water with her blistering quick 4.3 second rudder, frustrating battleships and thus a distraction for your team to take advantage of. Even if she got citadelled, Tiger '59 has repair party to mitigate most of the damage done. Not to mention her modern late 50's AA suite paired with a very strong DFAA consumable makes her practically immune to carriers.

Are there any other gacha games like azur lane when it comes to the amount of pulls you get f2p? Gameplay doesn't matter but i much much prefer a fantasy setting without robots, mechs, and stuff.

I tried gfl, I'm just not a gun guy really. And Touhou lostword. I like it but it's egregiously slow to max units f2p and skins are usually for the L1 versions of a character, so it can't be used on the viable version.

Kancolle, and honkai are both futuristic and stuff with mechs. Big turn off for me. Im not into kids so im not a fan of BA. I used to play genshin but it's not really what I'm looking for (well ive played them all but kancolle), it's not really collection focused. The way AL is. Pulls are too stingy and skins just arnt good.

I feel like the reason people say subs are broken is the same as CVs. A really good player on either (or on any ship tbh) can ruin your entire team, but the bad ones will typically either do nothing the entire game, or die immediately
