in that game you can grind a consumable item that can "tweak" your artifact to your liking

It's essentially what it is. A constant rolling for that one perk that can make or break a gun. And in this case, make or break a artefact

you're constantly rolling for those god stats, but even then. You're still rolling for the added bonus benefits when levelling them up

Destiny 2 though gives you the perks, and that's it. So that's where it differs greatly
