the OP was absolute solid though. best part of the whole anime
the SFX for gunfire was horrid. The animation quality was moderate.
The story covered chapters 1-6 of the game, which was converted to the first 20 or so chapters of the manga.
The manga uses an actual character in place of the commander, so they can interact directly with the story.
The anime adapts the manga over the game itself, so if you already played/read those, you already know what happens.
My biggest issue is how they downplayed the over all violence, opting for some metal chunks and no bloody bits.
