Lontong is an Indonesian dish made of compressed rice cake in the form of a cylinder wrapped inside a banana leaf, commonly found in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. My specialty; Adobo
Step 1. Fry the meat (can be any meat but it's usually pork or chicken)
Step 2. Once the meat is fried you can now saute the meat by adding onions and garlic (if it's chicken add some ginger)
Step 3. After sautéing add soy sauce and water and let it simmer
Step 4. Add some condiments and spices after a short while (most commonly used are salt, MSG, pepper (can be crushed or whole) although I like adding honey to mine)
Make sure to add water if it gets too dry
Step 5. If the meat is soft enough you can now add the vinegar

The savory pudding is prepared with minced sheep's pluck, oatmeal and spices. In Scotland it was once a typical rural meal, but these days haggis is often served up with no smal...
