blending kinda depends on the type of style you're going for

and yeah you can do blending on whatever layer you want. i use something like 5 layers in total to blend diff shadows and highlighrs

guys i just got an old wacom tablet, is it normal for it to be clicking when you only hover the pen above the tablet?
