If you're on Photoshop, a good way to just draw it without shading, is to set your brush stroke to "outer glow," make the color black for linework, and then just... have fun. Flow and rendering is a bit different though. What kind of tips are you looking for?

when drawing hair, you wanna think about it not as a bunch of individual hairs but more like an entire shape of hair. draw the silhouettes of all the hair together in a sense. once you get that basic shape down you can add more details, like smaller tufts of hair that cross or intersect in different spots, stick out etc. I'd definitely recommend looking up some similar hair to what you want to draw and just studying it. pay attention to the overall shape first
hair can be kinda tricky at first but I think it's fun once you figure it out, it's somewhat freeform and can be useful for setting up composition, flow, etc.

I drew my favorite AL ships (๑•ᴗ•๑)

gunpla painting is just
cutting apart each part
make sure it's relatively clean
prime it with surfacer/primer if you are doing lacquer
spray paint it like how you want

mask when needed

now the way i paint it is using clear colors + metal colors

so say, if i want a nice metallic blue, i would start with white primer, then coat it with dark metal mix, then do coats of clear blue + metal blue mix on top

the final color depends on what you paint underneath your final coat, and how thick your final coat is

ship or scale models in general is made from diff plastic

so you kinda can go without primer

but the same coating principle applies

a lot of the time it's just repainting the default colors with some extra touch

for example: the sazabi comes with 2 reds
one is light the other is duller
the brighter one i use gold underpaint, while the duller one i use regular metal underpaint
the final red coat is the same

Unfortunately any new kits that we get are based on his work and not Izubuchi’s

Which is a shame because Izubuchi is extremely underrated
