To me this doesn't feel like Cleveland. I know it's her cause you said so. But when I think of Cleveland I think of her tomboy attitude and energy. But besides that it's good all around

Well, tomboy attitude aside, her oath skin is a bit of a different tone. She is extremely, extremely joyful. The idea was to show that in this artwork. I still think the issue with this is the eyes. And her lack of a side tail because I instead gave her a wedding veil

I agree. She is a tomboy, but really reading into her personality through in game lines, I wouldn't put it beyond her to have a moment like this immediately post-oath. She is an extremely, extremely happy character.

Second is for North Carolina (which she basically has jaws)

The third is for Alabama,

Forth is for South Dakota which is more slightly more closer to the Azur Lane South Dakota

Then the last two are for Wichita (for there is no USS Kansas in Azur Lane)

(I want to make more but it depends on which girl I want to do next)

I didn't expect such an awesome effect, but it came out really damn fantastic. Lighting and colors are pleasing to the eyes, and you've also managed to capture the texture of clothing materials very nicely. The only flaw that can be found is that the little finger on her hand is too long.

Ehhhh its hit or miss

I usually give up at this stage

Basically just draw lots of lined with the occasional loop in it since cheap wood has lots of "knots" in it (the round spots)

If it's wood like tree bark

Pretty much just draw lines while having a seizure going up the tree and it'll usually do the job

If it's cherry Blossom tree you've got it good since they tend yo be relatively smooth

Hammer then yeah basically just make the lines relatively wobbly and add some loops and some circles in there

In those loops and circles you can shade darker to add more dimension

Add rhe ends of the wood to sell the wood texture you can cut out some small chunks so it isn't just a straight line

Since wood along a dock would probably have slivers and wedges missing

So if you want to do those basically just do q very large wobbly circle closing in on a spot on the plank

Thank you!! I've found that rhe trick to frills is to just draw a bunch of random lopps and stuff in one line that serves as the bottom.) After you've got that weird squiggle going you can start connecting it to a base

Depending on thr fabric or the sticking the frills can either be super loose or super compacted so you just adjust the scribble accordingly

you should be using more boxy and defined forms

and if you cannot even draw a box in a straight axis, consider redoing fundementals like perspective and stuff
