I have an idea to make the art style just slightly more different

During a race, if a racer over takes an opponent and wins, the opponents colour will swap into a black white like a manga as the colour of the winner slowly takes over in slow motion

And after the scene ends

The winner’s colours explode, covering the entire area

This is a bad example but it’s what I’m trying to do:

Ofc each racer must also have their own art style as well as colour

For her I’m going to mix the 4th stage/ 5th stage art style with the modern one

This will happen in the most tense parts of the race

It might be one last straighway to the finish line

I think dip pens are probably my favorite for paper art detailing. A humbling experience. Assuming you don't already use them 😅

I prefer dip pens over normal pens because I can mix custom inks and make a lot of really cool things for a lot of different purposes

Black is good! You can get a lot of different sized tips, with a lot of different widths for multiple things. You can mix flakes with the ink and apply then to art with dip pens.

You could always try the glass dip pens! They are pretty cheap and readily available. I dont like the edge as much as normal dip pens
