you may wanna experiment with brushes, find one that has harder edges

Try starting out with a darker base color. Then from there, add on top of it the cel shading of shadows and hard light.

When painting, the skin in hard light has a warm tone, and when it meets shadows, it is a cool tone.

After cel shading, move into rendering. That is adding alternative light sources the character interacts with in space, and softening the hard edges you set in the cel shading process.

I have this idea since it’s called: Sirius and the mirror seas

To have her memories be reflected on the water

Shallow for new memories lighter colour

Slightly shallow: older memories

Deep water: oldest memories

And her looking at you is the present

Hello, I have a little question, Do you like more the Celshading coloring that I used (like Bremerton) or the new blur coloring now I use (like Taihou)?

I've been trying to improve my art style, so I want to know if the new style is better or both are Ok for you.
