NVIDIA quietly introduces the GeForce GT 1010 — A Pascal GP108 GPU ...

NVIDIA appears to have silently announced a GeForce GT 1010 GPU earlier this week. The GT 1010 is a Pascal card featuring the 14 nm GP108 GPU similar to the GT 1030. The GT 1010 has only 256 CUDA cores enabled, supports 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM, and has a TDP of 55 W. Availability information is not known yet.

unless it's liquid nitrogen and on a laptop, (and I'm, pretty sure you're not going to make use of that) low temps are usually a good thing, a cool running PC (usually around 30 C° for CPU and somewhere in the 30-35 C° for the GPU), is good, laptop or desktop

also air humidity surely plays some kind of role into on the ambient temperature and the long, long term wear and tear of your PC but it's so negligible you really don't need to worry about it

#

also this channel isn't a sort of "tech support", we talk about tech and help eachother if we need occasional help with tech related stuff but i'm pretty sure this isn't a tech-support dedicated channel to troubleshoot your hardware/software troubles, your very question could've been answered in depth with some googling

either way, here are some options:
Logitech G203 - mid range price Wired, not exactly "low-cost" but definitely cheaper than the Naga, (most mice out there are), roughly the same dimensions of the naga aswell, only 2 side buttons + 1 button under the mouse

Logitech G305 "lightspeed" - mid-range price pretty much a G203 but wireless

Logitech B100 - True budget mouse, simple, wired, durable, no side buttons or extra features what so ever, just a simple mouse, slightly bigger than the naga

SteelSeries Rival 3 - mid-range price Cabled, roughly same price as the G203, also slightly bigger than the naga

HP X220 - entry-level to mid-range priceCabled, slightly bigger than the naga, about half the price of a typical mid-range mice

Might be a monitor spec issue. Yes HDMI 1.4 itself does support 1440p 75hz/1080p 144hz, but does the Monitor HDMI 1.4 spec support 1440p 75hz/1080p 144hz? It's usually DisplayPort that allows for that spec.

ah found the thing, my friend had to choose "disable hdmi 1.4" in order to enable hdmi 2.0 on his monitor

then for some reason I decide to look into something else, and find out that from A03 firmware and up (I have A03) this monitor has had hdmi 2.0
disabled by default
if you unplug all cables
then select hdmi input, then hold down green checkmark button for 8 seconds
that toggles "disable hdmi 1.4"

and in that mode everything works as it should. 60fps, sleep doesn't move windows

i looked it up and as far as i understood, proof of work adds a "competitive" element to the whole deal, each user is racing to solve the cryptographic puzzle fastest, to claim to block first, the more computational power you have, the faster you are
proof of stake however takes this competitive element out by having the algorithm decide the owner of the block instead
it sounds like it's gonna make mining more accessible to smaller miners to me but i won't lie, i may be biting more than i can chew lmao

my phone battery just changed cuz of swollen and already 3 years of being used extensively for video calls. But now the new battery really drained too fast even on Idle like from 100 to 80ish in less than an hour, but when its below 70ish percent it got very long time to drain even for 6 hrs idle and still having 50+ available.

let me rant how much I hate intel-based laptops. My Acer Aspire 5 can't run photoshop, chrome, bluestacks and WOWS at the same time without fucking dying. This is a new laptop with 1TB SSD, Intel Core i7-10510u processor, 12GB RAM and Nvidia MX350 GPU. My games lag with it and take note I still have over 500GB storage left. Pretty sure AMD won't suffer as much

well, this was bought in Singapore and then brought over in the Philippines. It's my mom's money, even though I already recommended something cheaper yet deserving of its performance

well then you're not knowledgeable enough, if you would've asked beforehand someone about it they would tell you that the 10510U is a low power CPU meant for battery life not performance and that the MX350 is a really bad card that is again something used for power saving

the entire point of that laptop is that it lasts long on battery
