But when he went to a store to try and fix it it turned out that when he tried to install a MacOS update for the first time in 3 years, he fucked the download up because the internet connection was so unstable the Macbook just died
And even though it was easy to fix, he still had to pay them 50$ for them to fix it.
50 is better than paying 2k for an apple support

how do you fuck up a macOS install
macbook run out of battery and crash in middle of install (?)
The real question is why are you doing a macOS update on battery

Though seriously, never do a plain in-place upgrade
always make a USB drive and install from there
then if something fucks up, you can reflash with ease
However, macOS installs are very easy
Even when you need dosdude's patcher
@tardy oak do you even understand
what you're saying
macOS is not like windows or linux
it always lives on a separate partition on the main drive of the system
the installer at least
so when you wipe it you wipe only the working partition
Oh right didn't that start with catalina

source code
nice easter egg, I guess???

The 'fish brain USB' is just a decorative piece of USB flash drive that has nothing to do with storing data to a dead fish's dried up brain cells.
I don't know what happened

Damn jayz
Yea I remember that video that was sick
Thoughts on WD Greens anyone?
uhh are the greens 5400 or 7200?
cuz i got the 7200 ones
or did you mean the ssd?
cuz i have yet to unlock the solid state tech tree
is it legal to crosspost from #461381136661217283 ?
Programming memes ?
big press x to doubt on the 4th one for the compiler
Yeah c++ tends to not tell you exactly... gets worse if you use templates

i dont think ANY compiler tells you
input: 2 2
output: 2+2=3
compiler: this is fine
It tells you when you do syntax errors not really logical things
include stdlib
compiler: the standard library is BROKEN
those are the fun problems
ive had a compiler tell me their was an error but when i ran the program that specific line of code did exactly what it was supposed to
well no its if it tells you that the problem is with the library instead of your code, and then the actual problem was like a semicolon
both mingw and java have done that
then what do you use?
ubuntu WSL is the most stable one
@subtle hawk Heard Green SSDs are horrible. The A400 is good (what I'm personally using)
Doubt
@bleak owl well it kinda is. Using it as my boot drive rn
the a400 is the slowest ssd on the market
Green is slower
Heard many people complaining about it
And boi you probably haven't seen anything yet
@bleak owl Chinese SSDs
Very abundant here
u can get a sp ssd for the same price, and goes faster
SP?
Oh, Silicon Power.
Too bad they're kinda just outta stock everywhere
Kinda insisted on an M.2 SSD so I didn't have to mess with cables tho
Eh I probably won't see a difference regardless

I mean my OS already boots in mere seconds
That's all I need really
Also Win 7 dies in 2 weeks if you don't cough up money.
you know when it's winter
and you have to choose between keeping your pc cool and warming yourself up
i don't like winter
meh my radiator is on the opposite side of the room so we gucci
oh that's smart
i'm still using air cooling tho
too much hustle for liquid cooling maintenance
not for the pc lmao
lmao
for central heating
and here i thougt you had some mad tubing that had a radiator on the other side of the room for your pc
nah I'm not that kind of madlad
was like "dam bro, yamato is wild"
but I do have liquid cooling
@subtle hawk Question: should I take an AIO on deep as sale (as in half off) but only with 3 months of warranty?
depends on what aio
ID-Cooling
sounds iffy
you kinda want as much warranty as you can get with AIOs especially
The original Enermax Liqtech I TR4 liquid coolers are plagued with corrosion, gunk/build-up, blockages, and more corrosion.
Sponsor: Buy PowerColor's Red Dragon Radeon™ RX 5700 (https://geni.us/7WSE5 on Amazon)
The original Liqtech I TR4 coolers should probably be formall...
sometimes it can get very bad
Tom's Hardware did reviews of several of their stuff before.
Seems pretty decent for budget stuff.
thing about reviews for stuff like this is that they hardly reflect end user experience
some do go in-depth but most don't tell you if it's gonna be working fine for more than a year
like sure, it has a low price, and sure it runs and cools just fine for the 1 or 2 days they need to test it to write a review, but what about an actual customer who's going to use it long term?
Hm true
Lmao, the imgur app crashed on my phone and I checked the logcat

Just buy a air one if u don't have the urge for a liquid one

Use code LINUS and get 25% off GlassWire at https://lmg.gg/glasswire
The Hunter Duet combines a CPU and a GPU cooler into a single AIO - but in typical AliExpress fashion it's pretty sketchy.
Buy the ...
Well well well, talk about timing!
This is one of their AIOs that cools both the GPU and CPU
you know how to take the shroud off of the gpu?
it's your call man
I mean hecc I want it for the looks more than anything
It's going cheaper than what I paid my air cooler for
alright no, don't buy a water cooler for looks
if it goes to shit, your whole system is at risk, i mean AIOs hardly ever screw up THAT bad, but that 3 month warranty is pretty dodgy
don't get me wrong, it could be a hidden gem and me being paranoid, but i personally wouldn't go for it
just go air tbh
water cooler is for risky gamers

Hmm I might be missing a few parts to build a macro pad... not sure...
QMK Proton-C
i ordered the stuff around christmas but kinda forgot that christmas eve, christmas day, new years eve and new years are all federal holidays
bought a cheap pcb as a stand in until the BDN9 gets restocked https://keeb.io/products/bdn9-3x3-9-key-macropad-rotary-encoder-support
oh so that's for keyboard crap

amd ryzen 3 2200g
A friend of mine wants to know a good graphics card for a budget
domo
The 1650 is good too
RX580 is pretty good indeed, I have that one
Although I put mine with a Ryzen 5 3600 because CPU > GPU for me.
I am a programmer
your name tho
that's what all "programmers" say
I can guarantee that 95% of the time you don't need the full power of the CPU
unless there is no gpu
If u do programming u should go for the ryzen 7 3700x and no the ryzen 5 3600,and buy a random gpu
Listen buddy
Real programmers require at least a 2080Ti and an i9 with 64 gb ddr4 on a dual socket mobo
Only the most elite programmers use this sort of build
/s because I know I'll need it
Ok Boomer
but im sure the all powerful yama has a 3080Ti with an i13 and 128 GB DDR5 ram

I also have nekos in the basement but nobody should know

what about i15
i saw an i7 a few years ago that was marked water cooled only. the madlads at intel made it go 5.0 Ghz base

Fram Jan 14, Futuremark will be killing support for some benchmarks.
Namely: Cloud Gate, Ice Storm (all versions) 3DMark 11, PCMark 7 and Powermark.
I do love how we're slowly getting a narrative out of these benchmarks.
@bleak owl1650 🚮

Yea I meant the super one
oh ok good
1650 sucks ass because with the same money you could get like a RX 570 or RX 480 which performs better
Yup
Good for u
Back in December 21, 2019, I went from a BOOK-OFF store and I bought this.

anyone here buy shit from massdrop?

What watercooler should I use
Im thinking of using this as my watercooler
Is it good?
lol
companies seem to do really well when it comes to PR on twitter
@subtle hawk im attempting to multiprocess in python, how much of a bad idea is this?
🅱️ery
@quartz atlas used to buy shit from them way back
massdrop more like massive delays and shipping times
right
so the estimated 1 week
is a lie

i have been waiting for my christmas present
its still in china
@quartz atlas Don’t buy from assdrop lol
Save your money
And buy from subreddits
r/mechmarket if you’re into keyboards
etc
just make your own keyboard
yeah i bought a planck keyboard from massdrop, ended up going 3 months into delays, 8 months total waiting
never again
this was about ~2.5 years ago
that longer than it takes to legally purchase a rifle suppressor in the US
strange unit of comparison but okay
well its designed to take forever
the paperwork is about a week
then they wait 5 months
your mistake was buying a planck
this post made by ibm model m 122 key battleship gang

LMAO
Nah I think that's small even for 2009.
Cause I had both 1080p and 1680x1050 back then.
I only ever buy stuff from ||M||assDrop if that's the only place I can get something. I bought a flashlight, a keycap set and an office chair.
The former 2 were "by Massdrop" items and shipped within the week as they were in-stock. The latter was shipped directly from the company selling the item. So I've never had any issues thankfully.
That being said issues with Drop are not unheard of, hence why I steer clear from buying off of them where possible.
Some of the horror stories I've heard... if I went through that shit I'd walk over to their office (since I'm that close to them) and be like "yo, wtf?".

Lol?
i swear when im not actively watching my script run, it messes up
Me when I try to automate something
good job, windows
System file problem i guess
I just found the best chrome extension next to uBlock.. SponsorBlock https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sponsorblock-for-youtube/mnjggcdmjocbbbhaepdhchncahnbgone

also exists for firefox
now thats a bit overkill
like press the arrow key a few times if you really wanna skip it
yeah
the content you watch isn't free you know
they also have to get something for their effort
and what are you gonna do when the entire video is sponsored?
Ok quick question im still looking for some PSUs for my new PC
I was originally gonna buy this one because its the best one that stays in budget (the next ones available are 4 times the price of this one)
But I recently found this one
Is it epic or not epic
well it looks like the top one is not modular, the bottom is semi modular
@teal shale thank yourself later
and get a fully modular power supply
also remember the 80+ rating doesn’t automatically make something better aside from determining power efficiency
maybe realistically unless you’re running a threadripper with two titan x’s in SLI 600w will be more than enough wiggle room for your build even for minor future upgrades down the line
tl;dr buy the gigabyte
?
Semi modular and modular there is just a bit difference not so big so i would go for the efficiency, the evga has 80 plus white and is weakest on on the list, that PSU is good only for cheap build,I dunno what platform is that gigabyte but I don't think gigabyte make shitty PSU,so yea go for the gigabyte, and there is no eBay?or computer shop?
nah it's not an asshole move to auto-skip the ads
- those ads are nearly always paid ahead of time for a fixed sum or per-view on the video
- if you want to support a creator, become a channel member or join one their patreon or whatever else they set up, if they set anything up. That actually earns them money.
- the way they're done is illegal. if you have an inline-ad like that, it needs to be clearly distinct (visually and audio-wise) from the rest of your video, or you need to declare the whole video as an ad. This is true for both the US and EU.
The reason video creators illegally don't do that is because that turns off their ad revenue for the video.
Also youtube requires you to do so as well:
https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/154235?hl=en
Note: This article was updated on December 5th, 2018, for clarity and to emphasize that paid product placement or endorsement of a good or service is required to meet Google's Ad poli
the air cooler mostly does its job
Probably would get a PC in the next 2 weeks
Still can't decide whether to get a RTX 2080S or a GTX 1080Ti
Don't know if the SGD$500 is worth the extra 9%~ performance
wait a bit with the expensive cards until AMD's line starts, then hopefully the prices will drop again across the board
ah laptop upgrade
Smh GTX 765M
It doesn't even meet the minimum requirements for Crosswave

Most likely I would get a GTX 1080Ti
Since raytracing isnt that good rn
I'll give it a shot on my HD615 laptop when it comes out.. had most games running there so far, even if they said it's way under requirements
I think ima get the 1080ti, then wait till the 3000 series gets released
Then I'll upgrade to at 2080Ti
Hopefully by then the prices would fall
take a look if maybe the AMD cards are enough for you, they're often better (price/performance) for everything that's not the top of the line
The RX 5700XT costs more than a 2nd hand 1080Ti here
I'm looking for high end tho
Gonna be playing games at 1440p
Looking for at least 100fps or higher
the high refresh rate monitors get expensive fast
But would want preferbly a 24-27inch one at 120hz
Yeah
Especially if 1440p
If they're too expensive then I'll get 2x 1080p ones
So I wont have to keep Alt+Tab
My current laptop benchmark
Raytracing is not good rn,well amd cards?
AMD cards that also support ray tracing (on a separate chip.. raytracing already works for years on the same chip, killing your framerate) are supposed to come out later this year
I have 2070 super, haven't used raytracing once lul
does anyone know if the ADB backup command with -all includes the bootloader?
I want to make a complete backup before rooting my phone
With the PC im bulding imma get the RTX 2060 Super
Mainy because it will work perfectly with what im looking for
Which is 1080p Ultra 144hz
TFW you actually need to use Linux to do something
Linux is my daily driver at work
now that you can just do (ms-)office in the browser there's no point in devs staying on windows when they develop for linux or BSD servers anyways
imho
@vast sand the gigabyte PSU is good platform cwt gps
yeah im getting a Gigabyte psu
imagine paying 10k for a keyboard and left ctrl is already tilted
hmm
my friend is trying to build a computer and it won't read his ssd card
he's just been able to activate the motherboard
idk how far it's been booted tho
did he forget to connect the power to it?
One message removed from a suspended account.
looking fresh
so apparently it's supposed to be an integrated graphics card
rather than its own standalone card that you can buy
I think it's that system on a board thing
i know it's the verge but they actually aren't that bad as a source of info except for that one goof last year
tbh, it just seems like the next "intel hd graphics" LMAO
the gpu you find in budget laptops and whatnot
well it is the lowest SKU of the Xe stack
One message removed from a suspended account.

anyone knows what the part highlighted in yellow does?
this is the back
connects to MB via this pin
its kinda like tape cable
@stone wave You want a TKL set of Holy Pandas?
What a bruh moment
im interested in box pink switches
if i do another build i may go with those
probably a 40% ortho just cause I've never tried one

So today I went to the store I was gonna buy the PC Components for the PC that #technology helped me set up
This absolute unit
They got a better PSU for sale which is good, that 600w wasn’t that good for the graphics card
But they dont have the processor or the monitor in stock, which means that now I have to wait until they get them in 2-3 weeks
we told you to go for the gigabyte PSU
Yea but that was in other store
They got a better one on the same store so win/win
Now its time to play the longest possible waiting game
Wasn't gigabyte PSU?
Yeah Apple, probably gonna hate it if I'm honest lmao.
But I don't plan on any more KB stuff for a while.
Gonna be moving later and I don't have a place yet so I can't really be ordering stuff.
tbh... same
as far as the keyboard talk goes
There's this other Omnikey I've been eyeing that's basically in 9/10 condition but I'm probably better off without "yet another keyboard"
oh protip you can't flash a QMK Proton C with Windows
or at least I couldn't
or anything else that has a STM32F303CCT6 and I think other ARM micro controller
with QMK Toolbox that is
So my recommendation if you build your own keyboard with a Pro Micro (or equivalent) stick with the Pro Micro or use the Elite-C unless you want to flash it using Linux.

RIP Windows 7.
https://youtu.be/Ok5AdqxW6-w
As of tonight (January 14, 2020), Windows 7 has finally ended support — which will lead to security risks for consumers as they will no longer providing security updates and bug fixes. Windows 7 users must be act fast to be prepared for what's next.
#windows7EOL #windows7 ...
Rip
It past the decade, so there is an achievement

🇫
Im going to build a new pc, anyone have any recommendations for Full Tower Case
Try this one. @tall creek

@tall creek fractal design meshify c
Or phanteks p400a
Apparently the fractal one is pretty good
sorry for bad english
Where were you when windows 7 died
I was on Windows 10. Chilling
Then I see Windows notification
im still on win7 until this weekend
imma get linux on my next build
wait
can i use my steam games HDD if i switch to linux, where i dont have to redownload the games?
can't say bc i don't play games much anymore but almost certainly no
hmm i shall consult the elder wizard
@subtle hawk if im gonna switch from windows to linux, is it possible to keep my hard drive full of steam games? i have terrible internet so i would like to not have to download terabytes of games
quote from a friend that i'm helping build a pc
bruh
i have a friend who is an idiot when it comes to technology, and even he knows what some of the parts of a comp are
Disk clone, round 2...
Hopefully this time it works, I had a lot of fun because the first attempt the source drive was somehow 32MB larger than the destination drive.
Turned my old laptop into a third monitor so I can play my gacha games more efficiently
Literally my only reason to do this
it cost me $30 man
you haven't seen the beauty that is the backside of the monitor

won't lie that's kind of neat
Cables
i just like the jerry rigged look lmao
Someone has a sshd?
why would u buy one of those
sshds are just hard drives with bigger dedicated caches
wouldn't be using sshds as archive drives since the cache won't be used
@vagrant holly used one of my LG monitor stands (i have desk mounted monitors instead), a door hinge for some basic swivel and a bunch of random screws yes
@subtle hawk yo i have a linux question

ah
anyway, if im switching from windows to linux, and i have a HDD full of steam games, can i just use that once i get steam on the new OS? or will i have to download them all again?
you can
but you won't be able to run them
not to mention most of them are windows only
ah so i would have to redownload
1.2+ terabytes of games to install on terrible internet
ok i dont get it btw
late but sshd's are bad memes in 2020 bc SSDs are so cheap nowadays + if you need big storage normal HDDs work fine in 99% of use cases
i'm surprised people actually use sshds at the consumer level
i always thought it was either one or the other
they were relevant maybe back when it was $2-3/GB for an SSD but it makes no sense anymore for sure
Oh ok thanks

@subtle hawk confirm/deny that nimi-sensei and shaw-bot are the same person
ive never seen them in the same room together
you wish
oh so are they both like custom made? i assume since you are lead admin, that shaw is also your child
petition to make Shaw type everything without spaces
Speaking of Shaw I still need one more of the Specialist chips to promote him but I'm down to 4
Epic games
Anyone can reccomend me a good sound system for a PC setup?
Not really anal about it
150USD
Also private sound (headphones, etc) or speakers
Speakers
Preferbly 2 Tweeters or a single soundbar
Gotta get dem bass boosted ahegao
I run a pair of Micca RB42, those are like exactly $150 before sales tax.
https://www.amazon.com/Micca-RB42-Reference-Bookshelf-Speaker/dp/B07JC416LG/
They're passive speakers though so you'll need an amp.
Also some way to hook them up to your computer, I just use an external DAC/Amp combo the SMSL AD-18.
But if you don't have an amp and can't justify buying one I'd say go with the $99 Edifier speakers on Amazon. They're powered so you don't need an amp.
https://www.amazon.com/Edifier-R1280T-Powered-Bookshelf-Speakers/dp/B016P9HJIA
@vast sand $150 usd is really low budget for a sound setup
At that price point I rather you get a good pair of open back headphones on sale
Is it for the desktop you're building?
Yeah
I'm just find a good speaker setup
No neccesary budget
But preferbly below 150USD
I dont mind spending like 800 for a soundbar lol

@quartz atlas I dont really use headphones
Even when gaming?
I only use headphones when I playing FPS games or voice chatting
But even so very rarely

How do hear footsteps
Okay you saved your self there
Imagine being one of those people who VC and have it on speakers.
What about story games? Do you not immerse yourself in the environment?
I see
Yeah
I've nothing to recommend for speakers tho sadly.
Rip
I use headphones almost exclusively
Uncomfortable?
Yeah
do you just not like the feeling? Or were your old headphones simply uncomfortable?
Idk
I rarely use headphones tho
So probably the previous time I wore one was one that was 💩
My current 🥔 setup
By speakers you mean Bluetooth? or actual speakers?
Cmon when I get my PC
Actual one
The only reason why I have a bluetooth speaker is to bring to parties
Probably would sell it off soon
Well, u shld test out some nice headphones. Most of them feel nice and snug honestly.
What would you reccomend?
Why cannot?
Ouh.
Long Island tea
U wan headset a bit eh honestly
Cuz headset de bang for buck is shit
I looking at Sennheiser ones
Long Island is a smelle Neet
Unless you go for the very expensive sennheiser ones
HAHAHAHA
I getting Prism+
Their monitor the shape nice tho
Not thicc af
The bezels
I getting 2 monitors
both 27inch 1440p
But 1 is 144hz and another is 75hz
You anytime go past headphone shops, ask to try the hd600, or anything along that price range that they recommend. See if you like the feel anot.
HD600?
If you don't like then bobian
o\
Sennheiser hd600
Yeah Not going to lie Logitech PC speakers are sufficient
OR get KRK monitors
For gaming preferably you want open back headphones, cuz the soundstage much more open. It feels like full surround sound.
This IEM good tho
Idk why I talking about IEM
Lol
Initially wanted to buy but no money lmao
All go to Azur Lane

As good as ie800 anot
Honestly right, if $ weren't an issue, I'd be getting the hd820 for myself
But fking ns
Fuck ns
Ya
But soundstage not as good
This one the clarity fking op tho
SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC
^this good?
Marginally worse honestly. But the details and everything else more than make up for it.
I never tried steelseries but heard good stuff. And isn't that like way out of your budget?
Bruh
But I wanna save a bit for Azur Lane
Faking Yostar whacking us with 2 events
CNY then Polaris
We dk about Polaris yet
I mean gotta save a bit
I might get that
330
Has really good sound quality
What keyboard switches would you reccomend?
Browns?
Don't ask me about keyboards man
I never buy b4
At that price point I rather you get hd6xx and a cheap dac/amp
Imo hd6xx is the best you can get sub $400
Okay
I may have found
The perfect sound system
But then
Its razer
Sennheiser HD6xx doesnt look that promising tho
Needs an external DAC if you really want to push the sound quality
o
Well ye, most good headphones will need a amp.
if I use the HTPC to play some good games then it's just
I dont want to spend 2000 on an amp
Internals doesn't deliver enough power
What
U can spend like
$100

Why do you need a $2k one
I was about to say 100$ for a good preamp
ofc there are
Of cuz.
why wouldn't there be cheap ones
You simply just need more power for the headphones, it's not that complicated or expensive.
U mainly want a amo
@quartz atlas thinking of getting a yamaha mixer+DAC combo for my gaming pc
Best Earbuds For Gaming: 1More Triple Driver
maybe
I mean I already have half of the audio setup in XLR form
Earbuds for gaming
Bruh wtf.
There's no such thing as good earbuds for gaming.
I mean
Regardless of how good it claims to be, it simply cannot compare to headphones even a third of the price.
I do sometimes have a pair of headphones and earbuds on when I work on both the laptop and the desktop
Iems are strictly for music imo.
Might get steelseries ones
Has pretty good soundstage
Also I realised that building my own PC is way cheaper
Its just that
How tf u install Win10
For soundstage, nth can trump the hd6xx below $500. Trust me.
Erm
I can help with that
I looking more one soundquality tho
Thats why I sold my 1Mores
It had godly soundstage for below 100
And hd6xx has more quality than whatever gaming headset there is out there.
Nani why?
Used their Momentum, was absolute 🚮

It had 0 soundstaging
Not familiar with that line
flex
aio
bruh
if u wanna flex then u go custom loop
with a ass ton of RGB
wait
ew rgb
I doubt he can build a custom loop
RGB the big gae
RGB is lyf
My friend has a full RGB pc and it looks horrendous
I rather Black with white backlights
Looks more

why when the 3600 is cheaper and is basically same perf
Adata SSD
spend the extra cash from the 3600 to upgrade to a Samsung NVMe SSD, you'll thank me for it
HDD
pretty generic, can probably get a 2-3 TB one for a couple bucks more
3700x because I'm doing video editing
Would appreciate the extra cores
Adata is pretty good for the price here
are you doing 4K or 8K footage?
then u don't need it
e
my dual core toaster laptop can do 1440p ez
mmm
idk
Still would prefer the 3700x
Samsung Nvme SSDs are fking expensive here
Like twice the price of a normal Nvme SSD
Idk why
Then HDD
Would probably get like 5TB or amth
lol
bcz they
- have DRAM cache
- have high quality Samsung controllers
- have a big warranty
adata usually has shit controllers
or doesn't put DRAM
they'll feel snappier than a HDD
but nowhere close to a good SSD
oh
@vast sand i honestly would source the parts from amazon or Newegg
You save a shit ton of $
I sourcing for Amazon
Amazon us, not amazon sg BTW.
Then when checking out use usd, not sgd. Amazon currency rates are shit.
the only brands I would trust for SSDs are Samsung, Intel, Kingston, WD and Corsair (the PCIe Gen4 ones only)
a
Corsair makes ssd??
and in quality they go in that order

ye they make PCIe Gen4 SSDs
Nani the fuck.
those with a giant heatsink on them
Oh those
Yeah okay might get a Samsung NVMe SSD instead
this thing
Found one 500GB for around 150
Wow so clean
I would want to have a PC setup like that
Just black and white
RGB
Black and White
Okay pretty much got everything settle
Now just gotta wait
Till the day I get it
Nah
@quartz atlas I getting le OnePlus 7T Pro tmr btw

ur big gae
:(
Pink is better
o
RGB master race
no
I don't see pc

not the QVO ones
Buy a nvme lulz
Whats wrong with qvo
QLC flash chips
Expensive
Bang for buck
they're dirt cheap
but die faster than the rest
way faster
especially if you fill it more than half
What's the write cycle on those?
not much
this is fking clean holy crap
Isn't it rated for like 5pbs or some shit?
Very gay
Gay keyboard
lighting is too much u say?
How rgb is distracting?
Idik
The girl on the left
The way the lights flashes repeatedly
I usually have 5 displays in front of me
Girl*
Wow
6 if u count the phone
5 display
ye I'm big brother

Lmao
Use this as ur water cooler

The 860 qvo is rated for 1.4pb
Lmao
Its fine tbh, I doubt ping will write so much data.
Who knoes
Just get a nvme ssd
1.4petabytes of homework
I wonder how much writes mine has. Its a Kingston m.2 iirc.
It's already ssd speed, I don't do data intensive tasks so why do I care if it 1% slower than another ssd?
I just realised how slow HDDs are
I'm going to hurt ur eyes @vast sand
Hdd slow as fuck boi
100Mb/s
usually that number is above 1 TB constant
peak RGB culture
When I build my desktop, I'd probably keep the traditional ssd boot drive plus hdd hard drive combo.
That isnt too bad tho

currently I have 3 SSDs and 2 HDDs in this system
But if you have like 100 colours on constant rotation thats eye cancer
Games don't run that much faster off ssd, I don't see the justification for the increased cost.
2 M.2 (1 NVMe 1 SATA) and 1 SATA SSDs and 2 HDDs in RAID 0
My system gon be full on rainbow strobe lights baby
depends
Epilepsy
