Got my replacement Pixel Bud Pro. Experiencing some weirdness though

To quote the email I just sent to support:

Firstly, some devices are refusing to acknowledge the new bud, only the old bud, and if I attempt to connect (after they have been paired) while both are out of the case, I am given an error
Secondly, while using my buds on a device that can connect just fine, I am experiencing odd distortion and cutouts that seem like a connection issue, despite the connected bluetooth device having no issues, and my old buds having no issue either
Lastly, the two buds seem to be almost unnoticeably out of sync which is making my audio sound off

(Before I started using my Pixel Buds Pro, I placed both in the case and reset them by holding the pair button for 30 seconds)
The primary device having issues is a Galaxy A20, which refuses to acknowledge the new replacement bud
