I have a P500A

I have a ROG MAXIMUS mobo
I squeezed my PC in my room
that thing has literally everything on it
Why...?
i put my shit on the floor
glass is better than acrylic
i want metal
There's nothing wrong with them at all. They're durable as shit too
My room has no space for PC, but i forced it there
those uh
i want the fractal pop mini silent
or whatever it was called
honestly i don't like ATX
Mine just sits on the floor there
And my room is tiny
too huge
If my PC is on the floor, it would’ve been long brokeb
My cat likes to jump over things
Once i find him on my PC
i like a metal panel because
some SMD boards I made, the PCBs were manufactured by JLCPCB #notsponsored
i don't have to see the monstrosity
looks pretty coool
it looks fine, mind you
I may get myself an Arduino to so some projects and pranks on my brothers
i just dislike having RGB at full blast when i use my pc at 2am
rn i don't have any RGB software installed so everything is doing its own sped stuff
it's simple as SMD stencil, solder paste, place components, cook in the oven, clean in ultrasonic, dry, done
I will use light mode at 2am when I have someone over
I might make my room full of IoT shit
and well, i am biased towards anti-rgb
my entire house is all IoT but it's not connected to the cloud
Better
it's completely isolated
Less security concerns
I don’t either
i just have a nas set to uh
what was that thing
worlwide connection
i don't think i have security on it
I would do IoT as room upgrade
so i can access it from school and stuff
like I have the mains power input monitored for both frequency, voltage, current draw and efficiency
and also warnings if something gets close to tripping the breaker
hmm
I wouldnt go as far as making my home all IoT
i don't understand what IoT is
it's so confusing
what does IoT even mean for a household
same for gas, water, internet
means you can monitor and have synergy between all the parts of the house
doors, windows, appliances, heating, utilities
oooh i see
Smart home in short
if so, i don't have any IoT at all
i have a google home mini for the only purpose of being an alarm clock (since 2018)
Just do it like me, rackmount it and have the rack be one of your desk's legs.
space efficiency
Neither do i, currently doesnt worth it for me
5 years of usage 💀 never been used other than an alarm
Pre made IoT stuff is shit
like if the voltage is detected to be outside of safe parameters the server room breaker is tripped to isolate it from damage
I like having full control
the most useful IoT thing I have is the pool maintenance
he has a Server which needs IoT to prevent catastrophies
I have little experience with it
i have a nas which i put dispensable data on
since it notifies me when I need to swap the filters or chlorinate the water
yeyeye
Like only small microcontroller projects
if it corrupts i can just reformat
formatting over a petabyte of disks would take more than a day
Thats alot
I would never use petabyte
i wish i had petabyte
Even storing my whole family storage xD
it's not full yet but it's getting there
Thats why RAID is important
Damn
it did sum to the drives
HOW IS IT GETTING THERE
WHAT IS BRO USING THE STORAGE FOR 😭
I also have a offsite 200TB backup stage 1 server in the same datacenter as sadpanda
holy shiet
seen some ppl using PCs as modems for houses
At least better than those clunky modems offered by ISPs
ooh
huh idk we have good modems from our ISP
it's like idk what it's called
there's two routers connected to a single modem
My ISP uses Huawei modems
I have one connected router to the modem
That feeds the ground floor with WiFi
hence why i'm able to use like
multiple things, a lot of the data is confidential/private but I also have backups of my phone and computers, family photos and videos, my own media collection, aerodynamic and material stress simulations for projects
terabytes of data
over all its a ton of data
ooh simulations, that's why
fair enough
what does FOG_Yamato even do?
like, what's your job
it seems like you do so much
Nuclear simulator
lmfao i think he might actually have done that
currently? working in the game industry
Noice
simulations for games?
nah those are personal projects
the stuff I do for work is confidential
the most productive thing i do in my pastime is playing games
well tbf i'm not in college yet
so i'm just more free
thank the lord i'm not in college yet
As a computer engineer, Japanese could be useful other than for mysef
nice
I did do contract work for some high profile companies before
FOG seems famous
nah
how is he still in AL tech chat
Seems like you are freelancer
I am
Its very good thing
japanese is not that useful as chinese
Yeah, lots of datasheets are in Chinese
china is huge
a lot of manufacturing is in china
knowing chinese is like unlocking a door for so much stuff
unlocking a door to a huge library, you could say
the library of Alexandria
I know how to read some Chinese text, in Japanese using Kanji
i see nice
Its not always the case
But sometimes they are interchangeable
But even tho im learning Japanese
It might give me a little shortcut in Chinese if i decided to learn it
Hello there, what's up?
Glad to hear the
i see
Being in any computer major = you’re a weeb
Fact. I'm going for a second bachelor in comp.major
Nice
End my suffering.
I have no f@cking idea what the physics have to do with comp majors
But it is a must
University requirement
Which I completely forgot after passing it
Just do it for the sake of it. got it
And taken 2 physics courses for the same reason
Only part i got benefit from was electrical parts
On the bright side at least, they will cut me a year, perhaps 1 and a half because I had previous degree
Nice
Equalizing courses
Perhaps, but, between us, I really see no point in second degree
cool
I benefited from gaming that i saved alot of time in English courses
Instead of taking 10 English courses i only taken 4
I have to re take Uni level english. Though I took it at the previous degree.
What a stupid system
AL is hornt
You cannot equalize more than certin credits
Thats why
Stupid system
it won't, it will make your brain short-circuit when trying to switch between the 2
Lmao
I learned that the hard way
As a person who knows 5 languages and speaks in 4, I'd say don't bother with Chinesse.
He mix up alot
I'm still studying chinese after learning japanese and that knowledge is tripping me up when trying to read
English, French, Russian, Ukranian, German. I think I'll go with Japanese next.
the numbers are the worst because some of them sound the same
Nice
Arabic, English, and learnings Japanese here
May learn Hindi and Spanish layer
Why Hindi? There are a lot of them here
It will make my life a lot easier
code on Hindi.
for example 3 and 4 are the same in both of them but the spelling is slightly different
and if you hear them throughout a sentence your brain can automatically switch to japanese or vice versa when trying to come up with the reply
Well, time to go back to full stacking.
3 is also san and 4 is si
Damn thats too similar
the tone differs doe
You will sound too Japanese when speaking Chinese the
My Arabic accent always kicks in, even in Japanese
from that I can tell you're from ukraine and you went to a literature profile highschool and possibly a liberal arts uni
My Arabic accent is equivalent to Scouse Accent in English
Imagine speaking like this in Japanese
You got the first part correct. And no, I'm a IT specialist, meaning, not a high literature. But I do love history and history of warfare.
I'll let you guess my location from my languages that I'm proficient in
Let me try
English, Russian, Romanian, Japanese, Latin and partially proficient in Ukrainian, Polish, Italian and Chinese
Given the fact that you know a lot of slavic languages I'd say you are in Eastern Europe/Baltic. Not a lot of countires use a Latin, so that makes me think you are a medical student or was. My guess you are in Serbia/Romania.
close
Which is the most pretentious country that speaks those languages? I'd guess that one
Latin is the wildcard there
Its too abstract tho
yes
Heh. Then we used to be neighbors
and no I have a PhD in embedded applications
Nice
Damn
but I have a lot of friends that went to medical uni
Im more concentrated on networking tho
Same as me, my brothers are in medical university
the only reason I know latin is because that was the only option besides french
and fuck french
French is the most useless language to me
Dorime.
Like why tf i need it xD
dorime is when I go look at implacable fanart
Czechia or Germany
Hint: Not in Europe
quebec then
Greenland?
That will be like off by a few thousand kilometers XD
lmao, the north pole
Okay, Canada should suffice as the answer
Lmao
Heh.
One or the other can't hurt each other
Unlike call of duty or FIFA community
Just say A
They will non stop insult you 😂
I'm both so there's ur ppl in the middle
same here, i just dont show my degenerate side to anyone
I dont think im a degenerate but I dont think im nice maybe im in the middle too

Kawa: "i dont think im nice"
The entire server: "never heard such blasphemy in my life"
and varia is pepeg so he is off the charts
Kawa just be chaotic aligned
chaotic is the most fun
chaotic evil
Nah, chaotic evil is fun
chaotic evil would be in a corner again
says the mega pepeg
but as chaotic neutral you can be everything
nou
nou
nou
why tie yourself down in a corner
our corner

Chaotic evil this, chaotic neutral that, where are my fellow chaotic stupids?
Ask yammy and he would say i fall into that category
yep
it’s intel you’re talking about
my power supply is limiting what i can use lmfao
id assume tbh
300-400w power draw
500w bronze psu
Not the worst tho
Mine is EVGA G2 650W 80+ Gold
Nice
Found someone selling 1000w EVGA P5 and 4TB SSD
I bidded him 210$
Previous bid was 105$ (which is too little)
I just hope he doesn’t come and say you won the bid when i run out of money 💀💔
Also found someone selling i7-6950x, 64gb memory and really high end mobo and Quadro 4000 gpu
But asking for 4300$
I can get i9-7900x and really high end mobo for 400-500$
Also any modern gpu would outrun that quadro
toaster going brrrrr
Got alot of cpu temps
One of them locked at 50
Other 60
Package is 73
IA core 73 too
Not sure which one i should worry about
Seems like i messed up while applying thermal paste
Too lazy to repaste it now
Depends on the software... I mostly ignore "Package" temp and look at IA temps (Intel-only) and individual core temps.
Tho anything that seems scuffed will get my attention (say if all cores are at 80C but 1 is at 90C, I go look at it).
Outside that, as long as none of the temps exceed 80C? Don't worry too much.
Seems like Package is almost similar to IA core
yea, they tend to have similar temps.
- IA core is the hottest core (but excludes shit like the Uncore and iGPU).
- Package is the hottest temp on the die as a whole.
Which is why I generally ignore Package because it's too "generalized" for my tastes.
Ah makes sense
73 on gaming, 77 on CPU intensive games is fine
yuh, anything below 80C is normal.
80C+ would have me look into some stuff already (ambients, fan curves all that stuff).
90C+ would make me actually look if something's going on.
Yep, high 80s low 90s may require quick action
But if its hard throttling that requires immediate action
I guess sense my IA core is much higher than others that indicates poor thermal paste application
Which makes sense since I struggled with installing it
Nah, could be just the chip itself as well (eg. imperfections inside the silicon)
Even with good application
All cores were around 82-85 and that one core was 92
With my old cooler
IHS should take care of that mostly... I think it's just silicon related honestly.
Also most games utilitze only 1 core
And then it just alters the cores
It’s usually core 2 that gets the hottest
At least in my case
I have CPU affinities set to "guide" games to the right place.
It's a hassle not worth it for most but it worked well for me to keep my FPS decent in heavier games.
Im not facing any issues while gaming
No stutters, no drops
I had i5-8400 and RTX 2070 b4
The GPU was stronger than CPU
that some games were hardly playable (even at 1440p)
I do face issues depending on the game.
LoL and DotA not so much since I play them in 720p windowed anyways.
FH5 lots of issues (60fps stable is not really doable) and DR2.0 also has some issues.
Ryzen 5 3600 and RX 580.
But lots of stuff slowing down my PC as well but I'm too lazy to clean up tbf XD
That CPU almost conquered the world
When it launched
it's a very solid CPU yea, even today.
It's mainly just my background stuff that causes it to seem slow.
Which is why I use affinities to free up 1 CCX for games and the rest just goes wherever.
For me now 3060Ti and i5-11600kf is good combination
I may upgrade to 3080 12GB
But my 650w PSU might struggle
I want to upgrade to a 7900XTX but not worth 1100 euro when I have other stuff to get first (for my car n stuff)
200w CPU + 350w GPU
Oh
I got 100w for the rest of the system
Which is not very comfortable
F
Ik someone running 3070Ti and i7-11700k on 550w psu
I have 550W for my CPU + GPU atm.
But it only uses ~300W at peak so eh.
He isnt facing issues
I told him that his system is probably power throttled
Its fine to use PSU at 100% (if its quality one) but im not comfortable with it
I'd rather not do that.
I try to aim for about 80% on full load.
My current system kinda runs on that (if all parts are stressed)
My system at full and I mean completely full load takes about 350W.
but I rarely use that load so eh.
yuh
realistic powerdraw is like what? 330W at the worst... Add about 250W for the CPU's PL2 (also a "worst-case") and you'd be at 580W as worst-case scenario...
In reality, 550W would be what I'd expect (and even that I doubt honestly).
Still kinda sad tho how we went from GPUs where 150W is considered "high" to 300W being considered "normal"
1080Ti was 250w GPU b4
And it was the best GPU at the time
While 4090 is rated to 450w
And SLI setups using 300w
Even 650w psu was overkill for most ppl
I remember wanting to buy 750w instead of 650w back in 2018
My friends told me that its overkill
to be fair, SLI was a joke
The same people upgraded to 850-1000W 😂💔
It was just for flexing
Especially 3 and 4 way SLI
Basically...
NVIDIA gave up on SLI
and AMD gave up on Crossfire
Now its up to developers to support it or not (which nobody bothers)
Yea... They do have stuff like NVLink and Infinity Fabric Link respectively... But those are mainly workstation and server-based.
yes
it is shocking
It was a "250W' GPU
But most AIB's were above 250W
You still can get away with 1080Ti and i7-8700k (stock) on 550w PSU before (although its not recommended)
Unless its one of those that spikes to 400W
SLI doesn't make sense for modern cards
Unless ur like rendering or some thing
and even then it doesn't make sense
because never at any point do you need them all to share one buffer
it's easier in render tasks to split the workload among the compute units than have them all work collectively on a single task
Thats why 2 CPUs also failed
You can just get 1 CPU with alot of cores and gets the job done much better
A lot of overheads cause slower performance
damn, just noticed that minecraft can be so CPU intensive
my CPU just drawn 190W while playing it
Minecraft is CPU and RAM intensive
ram not so much for me
The only times I've had my RAM used like crazy that isn't VMs or EMUs have been Minecraft (modded) and Kerbal Space Program
yeah, modded makes sense
my CPU only exceeds PL1 in beamng and minecraft (continously)
add MSFS to the list
it murders all 3
Ok I’ve been looking at the pricing and I saw that the 13700 would be the same as a 12700k with a water cooler, should I go with the overclock chip or the one that’s newer with no overclocking
Are you going to overclock?
++
Unless you OC, there is minimal to no gains with K series and non K from different generations
K is slightly faster and have higher power limits (which may cause them to be harder to cool)
It doesnt sustain its PL2 for long time tho
You may consider solid cooler
If you found great deal on K CPU, go for it
Even i5-1xx00F has at least 135W PL2, so getting decent cooler will give you the most out of your CPU
Even i3 would pull upto 90w
So stock cooler is fine, but you will be kinda limited, you may run into throttling if PL2 kicked in
Unlike older intel gpu (at least for non-k) TDP = your max
My CPU has 251W PL2 (Which only achieved 201W MAX)
lol yeah
i’m gonna get new headset i think
idk
the cpu should be fine running at 90
Intel CPUs rated to upto 100c, but that’s unhealthy af
It shuts down at 105c
AMD shuts down at 95 for 5000 series and before
116 for non 3D CPUs, 106 for 3D
116 is extremely toasty
I would worry about some material begin to melt
Physiological effects have been observed in a human subject in response to stimulation of the skin with weak electromagnetic fields that are pulsed with certain frequencies near ½ Hz or 2.4 Hz, such as to excite a sensory resonance. Many computer monitors and TV tubes, when displaying pulsed images, emit pulsed electromagnetic fields of su...
Hello my friends
I mean, I honestly hope CPUs have at least some decent headroom between shutdown temperature and "here's where it'll actually get damaged" temperature...
hewo
wololoooo \o/
wasssup
just reading something, you?
finished exploding my brain with physics, taking a break.
I hate online classes because it's very easy for me to get distracted... :\
I hate them for lack of material and once the work begins you're like "duh"..
fair fair
what about 99
yesss, it’s like you have to give us the resources for us to learn online!!!
especially when your brain wants a rest
mhm
85c instantly
it’ll kill
I stopped using the PC immediately
Once i seen it hit 85 easily
Never used it until I connected fans
Even told my brother not to use the PC
I even installed the OS on AC at 16c
Was wondering before
3 intake 4 exhusts vs 7 intakes 1 exhaust
The 2nd configuration will tire that exhaust
I loved it, but there are many concerns
The current doorbell i have sometimes cuts without reason
Trying to find good replacement that doesnt break the bank nor require alot of installation
My concerns are its being stolen and my neighbor think that im a pervert (since he is facing my door)
Found a solution for the 2nd issue
I can put it facing the door side instead of it facing my neighbor’s door
Instead of like this
I put it like this
My lens are destroyed
dude i tried Hyper 212 evo, on 13600KF. 73C max temp
Your PL2 is much lower than mine
Also 13th gen is 10nm, 11th is 14nm
Never knew 11600K put a lot of juice
wtf, 11600K PL2
It never hits that
201W MAX in my case
Maybe in a Z590 mobo
But still 251W is A LOT
Thats higher than my GPU (213W when overclocked)
ordered the nh-d9l
Nice
How is the thermals now?
Should maintain PL2 just fine for its duration
165w TDP is more than enough for your CPU
i’m not home yet @valid sky
it’s just sitting there
on the front doorstep
3 hours
Oh
yeah lmfao
let’s hope the direct flow cooler helps more since i have a suffocating pc case
I remember installing my 3060Ti (was awake for 28 hours xD)

Just was excited
yesss
i am very excited for the first time in forever
like a real genuine excitement over something
haha it’s such a great experience
and noctua for 70 bucks is worth it too lmfao
6 year warranty, included thermal paste and forever mount upgrade
Yeah, since you’re limited in space xD
yep💀
if not i could’ve used something else
the budget in money sense is fine
Got my self PA120 SE xD
At least it can handle 11600KF pretty good
Kinda
i think my pc case has a small vacuum chamber in the intake
3 120mm fans are pulling against absolutely nothing
Thats shit xD
My friend when he had chinese case
It was the same case
But he bought my old case from me xD
Temps are alot better
For me, upgrading the case changed my mood
I feel like having all new PC xD
there’s a limit to how hard i can spin the fans
since if i run all the fans at 100%
then it becomes a negative airflow
And dust will say “HI”
especially if you are in non-isolated building
to keep airflow down and sound too
yeah lol
doors? open
windows? open
honeywell air filter? maxxed out
xD k
horror
i’m repacking this i71c
for future uses
i have the boxes
yeah
the thermal compound is DRY
IT FEELS DRY
At least noctua offers you good quality obe
I remember using my MX4 for 3 months
It was wet and easy to clean
From the picture it seems crunchy
Like my old cooler master thermal paste
My old laptop when i repasted it
The thermal paste was desert dry
my GPU was a bit wet, but 107c hotspot was too much
Haha
WTF xD
Then wondering why it was overheating xD
I jumped from stock cooler to Hyper 212 and now PA120 SE
Would use that PA 120 SE forever tho xD
265w TDP
I can use i9-13900k np with it
xD
Like my old P4 casee
If i still have that PC i would’ve built a sleep PC in there
It was suffocate a lot tho D:
tissue paper cushioning mod
why? i csnt screw the gpu in
improved tissue paper mod
it's cooler by a lot
a whole 20 degrees
i set the fan curve pretty slow and gradual
@valid sky
By running it like thjs
It makes the system so much chiller
65c under load cpu only
75c under load cpu only if the case panel is back on
💀
But your room becomes hotter
Since more heat being dumped outside 🤣
I put my AC at 25 its good
But when the PC is on
The room becomes so hot
When the PC + PS4 on god damn
It becomes a warm room
If you are coming from outside the room, you get a lot of heat blasting on your face
when the AC is at 18C, i can do any stress test i want
yeah
i'm getting 11600k for next cpu
maybe
if not i'll do a full push onto intel next gen
Other than convenience of just replacing CPUs
Not really worth it
The difference is around 5-10% and ALOT MORE HEAT
like a lot
Not any cooler can handle 11600k without undervolting
For me, it was way better value than getting i9-9900k
Since for some reason, they are still expensive
They're almost "iconic", for the lack of a better word
And a recent mid-range chip is a much better buy than a 9900K
Well, i got my 11600KF for less than 150$
And case and mobo bundle for less than 190$
It made much more sense for me back then (DEC 2022) to upgrade that way rather than buying i9-9900k
The CPU was unused (and even still sealed)
The mobo and case were slightly used
Well, 11600KF performs almost the same as 9900kf in gaming
In productivity i might be little behind due to core count
https://www.pcmag.com/news/crustacean-cargo-hong-kong-drivers-smuggle-nvidia-gpus-with-live-lobsters
lobster cooking with nvidia gpus
yum
That exists too
lol
💀
Insane
insane
is it rellly better to have more fans
for the cpu cooler that is
i ahv ea dual towe
i got some silicon power b me
nvme
super fast but no temp sensor
i use it as a game/recording drive
Not by much
💀💀 yeah
Drifting time
real
🤝
apparently they're releasing a noctua nh-d9l
uh
black edition
i forgot what they were called, but they're making a black version of the D9L @valid sky
monobox or some
chromax yes, they're making a noctu nh-d9l chromax black in Q4 2023
pretty cool, considering that it's a cpu cooler from 2015 that's still getting revision updates
Yeah, same as the good old Hyper 212
Its 2007 cooler, yet still gets updated
It works with LGA 775 all the way to LGA 1700 (even seen some ppl modding it to work with socket 478 and 423)
16 years of official compatibility and 23 years of unofficial compatibility is insane
yeha lmfao
the 212 is kinda complicated to isntall
i barely got the hyper 212 black edition to install on my friends pc
it's just confusing to install lmfao
so many different configurations on backplates and cpu now lmfao
ah yes, adding my phone is not enough
we need 2fa now
i seriously hate 2fa, primarily because my phone gets lockdowns
screentime locks, and then i can not access them
he got this cpu cooler
issue is i ran out of time when helping him so I couldn't OC and tune fan curves on his system
For me, installing Hyper 212 first time took me like 1 hour
2nd time took me 5 minutes xD
oh lmfao
Then my friend took 2 hours
first time took me like uh
20 minutes
i lost a few screws, and the backplate
i found them, and i did a careless assemble
the cpu cooler is angled downwards
like \
wait more like /
it's like, facing downwards 💀
Seems like the motherboard is getting a lot of tension
Damn
like at that point, (20 minutes out of 6 hours)
i already gave up on the pc
the RGB was so annoying to deal with in the case lmfao
he wanted RGB fans which used SATA + 4 pin + 5v
My current PA120 took me 30 mins to install (i was chatting during installation)
and then extension cables
Damn
At least its not a fucking MOLEX
oh
yeah i had to use molex
for the 212 evo
i had to remove the hdd caddy
😭
so it's actually impossible to fit in a hdd in a caddy there lmfao
Molex is the shittiest connecter i ever delt with
cuz of the amount of cales there
Molex is fine for me. Why? I don't use it
I stopped using it since i upgraded my system xD
my i71c (previous cooler) which wanted rgb? I threw away the RGB and ran it without any
I am ANTI-RGB for a reason
RGB looks cool, but not the rainbow shit
oh
he likes rainbow shit
i'm more the RG"B" guy
i like the blue tint
i have all my pherperals locked to a stable blue colour lmfao
I like to keep my RGB color cycling rather than Rainbow vomit
i keep mines static
idk what my gpu does sometimes. Why? I have a metal panel
so the RGB in the gpu is just on, for noone to see
truly a rip moment
xD
ikr
The controller is 80$ alone like WTF
I ended up selling with bundled with case for 25$ xD
Noone needs controllers anymore
My Chinese fans does that
Its convenient af
My fans costed 25$ xD
better than noctua? No clue, i have little to no regards
Pack of 4
💀
My parents would kill me if i did that xD
Eithernet cable?
Im guilty of doing that too xD
100 feet of pure flat
For the cable that feeds the ground floor with WiFi
super helpful from the overheating wifi card I had lmfao
that thing would like, overheat and drop from 300mbps to 0
this thing holds 1000mbps with no problem
My mobo comes with one integrated
mines doesn't come integrated with wifi, only a 2.5gbe port
It performs better than PCIe WiFi card
Which never sold one for more than 15$
Like, they dont worth more than that xD
lmfao 💀
i ain't ever getting wifi again
i need direct access to my NAS
120mb/s is already slow now lol
HDD is kinda your bottleneck here
yeah i don't 💀
my HDDs runs between 160-300mb/s aswell
ISP provided router only supplies gigabit port
They arent slow, its just people hating HDDs
Im not gonna sell my kidney for a 4TB+ SSD
magnificant art of a pc
xD
same lmfao 💀
it's not up to date sadly
since uh, i did some other stuff
I found blower 3080 for 370$
But its like 70km away and i have to cross country border to get it xD
GPUs in that country is cheap
In my country i get 3060Ti for 350$ used
There 3060Ti worth 220-250$ used
Which is just right
Even if i paid that 80$ international shipping
Its still great deal
Which i wont
worth
oh
nvm
yeah no, a 3060 goes for like
500 new
400 used
worth it? no
i'm going intel arc next
I found 3060 for less than 200$ in that country 70km away
Around 185$
Thats a steal xD
If i told my friends that im going there, i’ll probably pay in customs….
Im comming back with 4-5 GPUs at least xD
lucky
3090 for 550$ brand new (that one is sketchy)
Idh the money to do that xD
Otherwise, it would be amazing business to do
And in customs i can say
Im doing SLI
So GPUs are personal useage
Damn, if i went there with money
I will crash 3060 market locally xD
Which idh money nor transportation to get me there…..
There are alot of sketchy offers tho
Like RTX 3090/Ti for under 600$ and claims its brand new
Its just sketchy af
Also been listsd for very long
Even sketchier
Like ik 3060 can drop to 160$
Its in the low range tho
But 3090 for 550-600$ is sketchy brand new
Also, currency is different
Thats another issue for me xD
Shit
well
i did find it in the tech drawer from years ago
so i do expect it to die
i have like 2 nas hdd's ready to swap out of my current ones die
I have plenty of very slow or dead 2.5HDDs
wait nvm it's fine now
yk what i did?
Like 10-12 pieces of 500GB-1TB HDDs 2.5 Inch
XD
so i use a microusb
somehow the port has gotten so loose i can flip it
and how it works again 💀
HDDs are kinda solid xD
yeah they really are
Sometimes they slow down the entire PC
and one of those HDDs got a virus in it
Which is luckly too old to infect any PC i have
School PCs back in the day
Used to be full of malware
And viruses
i'm gonna boot up a windows sandbox
Nowadays its rare to get virus, unless you download and visit sketchy sites
