might just be fdg holding me back as I wait for NJ to get skilled up but if you don't have a good answer for making her disappear before 23s you just get rolled everytime, at least it was the case for me with FDG Aquila VV jintshiro + abruzi vs helena roach front + shinano ryuu

if the opening torps and or 16s shelling dont focus her down it's just autofail; the triple wyvern strike will ohko the front and cripple your back, then the hiryuu procs clean you up

like yeah i swapped to warspite later to test and it makes the comp much more trivial but without a focus fire answer you're relying on pure torp and shelling rng

Well, from personal opinion is that Amagi/Hiryuu was weak, as was Amagi/Akaga. WASDA probably was good, if u consider the Amagi buffs and stuff. Main issue would've been getting the 3 IJN VG to use with Amagi for faster reload whilst using WASD lol

I second Aurora; she provides a nice punch against smaller torpedo defenses. Very nice compliment to Duca and Juneau. Though depending how stacked your main fleet is, you may consider swapping Juneau out with more offense (Jintsu for example).

Birm btw used to be slightly better on tankiness to begin with but Leip buff+torp was probably more valuable
