Can someone explain how the opponents reset work? Earlier today I was ranked ~40 I had someone ranked 48 on the first slot, so I decided to wait for them to rank higher to avoid the +9.
However, 2 hours later when I logged back to the game that same guy moved to my 2nd slot and suddenly the one in the first slot was a rank 10. I was out of rerolls btw.

Basically the possible shift averages out to near-zero in all cases
Cause the shift from movement distribution is effectively a range modifier centered around no-shift, with width dependent on how far vanguard can move between AA shot, and it doesn't affect the relative average result of setups (assuming they're about the same AA range)

The measure I use, is what the "window" is for 2 hits in the averaged case
Given the distribution for movement (much larger spread than the window in all cases), this is roughly proportional to the chance of 2 hits (with negative values being a chance to not hit some planes altogether, basically a "gap" in your AA coverage)
But since planes clump up, the first bit of this measure is worth more for the 2-hit chance than later ones
If you're running staag on main fleet already, then your setup already has a fair bit of this measure, and so boosting it further has less effect than the naiive interpretation of the measure tells you

That setup in terms of AA coverage is near-optimal anyways, with any tweaks reducing damage per tick: I think CN peeps now think any extra increase in coverage from such optimization is not worth the lost damage

Reppu bait already screws over 2-AA-hitting already, and since the more AA hits you get, the more valuable they are, baiting is probably no better than it is now
Plus with all planes having a flat speed boost, the baiting potential of Reppu is a bit lower
More-or-less, not much difference from now I would suspect vs the most optimized teams, but maybe a larger effect vs less optimized teams, since Reppu bait doesn't screw those over that much

Reppu does have higher sui damage to take advantage of less AA damage though, and with more plane HP boost and lower AA potential its slightly lower HP is less an equalizing factor, hmmm
