• The rushers gonna spend all their attempts to get aotn first, and there's a good chance they stop doing exercise entirely after then
• The baggers (EoS/tryharders) gonna spend like 5 max until like the very last day, since lower position grants more chances to bonus out when the opponent moves

Judging from this, if at any point in time before AoTN day you can reach top 10 with all your attempts, keep 5 attempts and

chase AoTN with your 10 attempts about 2 or 3 reset after the AoTN reset and you'll almost be guaranteed AoTN

well idk though if you can't reach top 10 before aotn day with all atempts

This is also assuming pvp players can only be divided into AoTN rushers and EoS baggers, if there's enough people who rushed AoTN and still playing (trying to get as much points as possible) even though they know they can't reach EoS leaderboard, top 10 will be very difficult

imagine this, you're fighting a GoT fleet. You've already nuked their backline, killed their eldy, and killed their jintm

your 3CV backline is full HP.

The enemy laffey II kills your laffey II and wins the vanguard fight then reaches your CVs.

Your CVs cannot kill her.

2 full minutes pass.

Laffey II has killed all of your full health CVs by herself.

You lose.

Yea now I understand, the fleet is destined to lose only in 2 minutes+, so good for defender to avoid attacker who start doing their set 5 minutes before reset, but also useless for attacker as they will most likely always lose

It's also dogwater on attack against any decently geared GoT setup. You basically have to gamble the enemy fleet's eldy doesn't proc and dies early so you can kill their vg before their vg AND backline kills yours

The odds are stacked against you because the enemy BBs cannot target your stealthed CVs, so will aim at your vg by default

good luck dodging a soyuz barrage into a musashi lighting storm

and that's assuming alsace hasn't just burned you to death too

there is currently no vg setup that can stall hard enough to survive this consistently

you just have to get lucky with eldy

there's also the caveat that if such a vanguard fleet does exist, your opponent will more than likely also be running it. So the point is moot.

It is a quest of futility

Also due to eldy rng, 3CV is not a guaranteed wall on defense either. If your opponent gets lucky they will actually kill you faster than a GoT mirror matchup because CVs are inherently squishier than BBs.

Which is why you may need to switch out Shinano for someone else

Switch Shinano out to Musashi to keep the IJN synergy and because she's a big fox.

Switch Akagi out for Alsace. Anyway she launches early and often has a rocket plane to kill vg, why not just use Alsace's preload with an HE gun to smack the vanguard even harder?

And lastly, I say we replace Amagi with Soyuz because her nuke barrage is hitscan and is way faster than any plane. Plus it can still hit unrevealed CVs using splash damage.

The only reason you can fail your bonus if all 4 of the list do all of their exercise sets 5 minutes before reset
