So I’ve been testing Kear since getting her dev30 in PvP and after looking at that guide it was hyping her up to be so good. I swapped Aquila for her and she does less then 1/2 compared to Aquila, I don’t really get how she’s the top tier picks for the main fleet

Meta: Musashi and NJ (they shit damage)
Potential but not really seen: Unzen (there are better options and CAs are not great in pvp due to the hull scaling)
The rest: YorkII (she never really flourished in pvp, she's suited to nuking light stuff in pve, if she had preload or a method to launch earlier she would have been more competitive). Javelin (She doesn't really shine anywhere, significantly better options). Swiftsure, same as Javelin.

How to get good?

Just tested KENNY stuff vs Hymen. Place your Hiryuu to avoid Musashi's slash and enjoy the result.

So I guess, KENNY comp is good when fighting other Hiryuu comps. Aganist 3 BBs like Sey + Bis2, it's not that good anymore due to Musashi's slash diff.

And for me, Monkey comp is kinda unconsistent due to you now have 3 targets for torps to hit and if a ship goes low early, you could be suffered from a mass dmg loss. Also, revealing Hiryuu too soon might lead to your 2.5BBs to target only her -> loss. And lack of healing...

I did notice that plap plap from Hiryuu's barrage could fully reveal my Hiryuu or theirs (literally Juneau's role) so maybe, add some good AA guns. Others than that, Keasarge should do that revealing job.
