Tried Tamaki against a fleet with Zwei and even though the blackhole is supposed to work better on defense it didn't do much at all, the only time that fleet did something was because of torp RNG

First of all, Prinz Eugen despite having a large health pool, it not a good ship since that's the only thing she has. Second, even if you wanted to use her, put her in the front most position so she can actually tank. Third, your whole vanguard is not really PvP meta. Lastly it would be a good idea to share your dock so we can actually see what choices you have so we can guide you from there.

Ok. Roon won't help with PvP (that's just due to her skills not really being geared towards PvP). Also, there's an alternate version of Roon in the Core Shop (you get Cores from doing non-event hard missions), which is in most situations better than normal Roon. If you are serious about PvP, I'd recommend you researching Anchorage once you've finished the Research for Roon, as she's one of the best PvP tanks. If you want ideas on budget fleets for early players, you can check the pins, and the first thing that appears should be a Google doc. Once you're in, go to the tab that says Budget Fleets. That should give you ideas for some fleets you'd want to try to build

Enterprise is still pretty good after all these years

Unicorn Retro can work in very specific teams
