just launch these things off of the tank
munitions small enough to be stored in reasonable numbers
and has the same warhead as a Javelin
gives the tank NLOS capability
and if you have a 4th crewmember lets them operate not only the switchblades but other unmanned vehicles
crewless tank wise idk if your getting hit by a ATGM, especially a top down attack one that's bypassed the APS you're likely fucked regardless
tandem warhead straight to the hull
the point is your crew is actually uh, alive
as you wish my lord

neeeh
the best
take it away
jadgabrams
!
please stop posting that
almost forgot you had that
then someone in ArtStation made a JadgChally...
I hate
the double click thing
my laptop does
I meant to grab a different gif
immediately clicks the first one I have
I'll post it in the other server

one I wanted smh
why would you post that
fart slave 24
is this somehow better than what you posted before
i doubt it
its not a POW in a cage
tea please salt the earth

do please
They don't exist yet
switchblade 600 does to my knowledge
if it doesn't then I don't know why its being procured for certain ongoing conflict then
it's not
They're working on it, but it's not been built outside of a single digit number of handbuilt prototypes
I see
any new abrams replacement or upgrade is gonna take years to develop and procure regardless
so its not like switch blade isn't out of the realm of possibilities especially when its being considered for arming other platforms like Griffin III

Knowing Phoneix had this image stored. Good to see learning more about his personal tastes
same buddy
I actually only discovered this image today, tbh
But, yes, I am an appreciator of muscles on women
Fair enough. In that case, back to armored cruiser posting.
Very based
Wtf happened here last night
👀
G’day mate
Scarnon?
last exam of me life today
more I see the KF51 less I like it
design aspects are fine and the vehicle is probably decent. Tho the thing just looks so generic

NOT THE LEOPARD 1 !
opens fb

ok... both EMBT and KF51 Panther gets this odd crew config
So CnC General aged the best kind of wine...
Thx Crusader and Paladin tank

Overlord>> those puny things
Overlord... still can't beat muh fav Apocalypse or Mammoth tank.

Man the KPF51 looks like a PL-02.
The panther sure seems…stylized
Top attack protection system and the capability to carry loitering munitions sounds interesting though
Finally passing to autoloader instead reload slave pog
I present to that idiot the Japanese hotels
allied BBs were a waste of steel
certified Naval Battle of Guadalcanal moment™️
yes

oh, advanced cope
cope and seethe
Cope harder than Edward Cope himself
I do wonder with stuff like the lynx and now the panther, if the final version will be that stylized and angular, or if it’s just something they did to make the prototypes more eye-catching
looks is one thing, but the specs are configuration are abit weird.
Aside with 130mm smoothbore... its the other stuffs that bothered me abit.

If anything, KF51 is just remind me of a Chally 2 Streetfighter.
you know, the infamous Brimstone missile launch at the back of a turret
question, are the names of ancient big cats too much of a mouthful to be used as tank names
like, when do we get Panzerkampfwagen Homotherium
Smilodon sounds like a good name for a tank.
Surprised they didn't put that
okay... that or maybe Löwe or Jaguar
I do have a question about lend lease however
Did British get more equipment than Soviets during the war?
britain got the most lend lease, but passed along a large portion of it to the soviets

The doublethink in this thread is absolutely hilarious
meanwhile that one is-3 that was definitely absolutely in sakhalin
rocked the japanese to the core
this is as cursed as jaba quora time
Dude this thread has been hilarious
fwiw the manpower ratio isn't wrong
and the top of the line shit was getting sent to the east first
“The soviets won because of communism!”
someone mentions Soviet atrocities
“Well actually the Soviet Union wasn’t communist!”
but there were actually very competent units in the west
Yo
and the bulk of the airforce by the landings in particular
I always loved allies debate. Both side try to argue which side fucked the Germany harder
That Looks like Mr Harrison
But defending the USSR
I mean, yes, because at one front there was combat nonstop while on the other the land combat was only about to begin
The cherry on top
careful, some germans argue germany fucked germany the hardest (true hitler fashion of shooting self)
The cherry on top
no surprise where you'd find more troops
The one source he cites is an article he wrote
source: myself
the ratio remained that way for the duration of the war
they didnt suddenly all flood over to the west
I don't think Soviet atrocities can be blamed as communism tho. Would things be different if Stalin was a Tsar instead
Russian history’s kinda fucked in terms of government tbh
Blame Mongols
one form of autocracy into the next, into the next, into the next
Literally
Btw
We have those people here
"We shouldn't remember the FEB, since it was the soviets who won the war "
Novgorod Republic is the closest pure Russian government you would get in history
Likely the reason why it's gone during 1400s tho
the wrong has reached new levels
then again what could one expect from that username, handle and symbols
he’s American too

who's source is; 'this one cringe blog I wrote'
incredibly cursed
Western Germany liked to use that term for his supporters
To Lenin as well I think
and the supporters for his successors, up until the 90s
There is a counter term for that as well
The term enemy of the people or enemy of the nation, is a designation for the political or class opponents of the subgroup in power within a larger group. The term implies that by opposing the ruling subgroup, the "enemies" in question are acting against the larger group, for example against society as a whole. It is similar to the notion of "en...
Stalin used this the most
On 25 February 1956, Nikita Khrushchev delivered a speech to the Communist Party in which he identified Stalin as the author of the phrase and distanced himself from it, saying that it made debate impossible.
"This term automatically made it unnecessary that the ideological errors of a man or men engaged in a controversy be proven," Khrushchev said.
My brain cells
1/4th of non light tanks at stalingrad were lend lease
the first part is blatantly false, although Glantz did argue that the Soviets does have a fair chance of coming out on top with or without Lend-lease, the difference is that he argued without Lend-lease the Soviets wouldn't win nearly as fast, or use deep battle doctrine as smoothly as it did IRL, and its wartime production would understandably dip heavily without external supplies to compensate for early losses
She says the Big ones hurt
wasn't it not that lend lease didnt arrive but more that it couldn't really be delivered to the specific fronts before stalingrad was mostly handled
since it's coming in from the northern reach of the country
i hate how I can almost hear that gif
like there's a couple fair points mixed in with the most schizo madness
The berci effect
this thread has been a wild ride
bro this is on an oryx tweet about the new panther
I don't think I mentioned that
Ye he says something true then goes exaggeration
did the soviets produce the majority of their stuff? yeah sure. could they have produced enough by themselves to win without lend lease? proooooooobably imo? the diciest bit if the chemical facilities lost in ukraine. did they do the majority of the actual fighting in europe? absolutely undeniably
but uh lend lease kept the soviet union from actually turning into an enemy of the gates style miserable wasteland through the war, the US was pushing italy's shit in even before d-day, and the RAF especially was molesting germany from day one to the final day
Would Germany have ever been able to invade France without oil from a certain imperialist fascist power?
which pretty much crippled their air efforts in the east because whoopsies
ding dong the luftwaffe is gone
people like to think about ww2 in a very compartmentalized way
P-39
also yeah P-39s are the shit
P39
Mid engined aircraft is bae
Separated by opinions
the british and americans fighting using exclusively their respective equipment, the soviets fighting alone in the east until the two fronts collided, etc
United by p39
T34 is painfully over rated
i think the like
It was far more expensive to produce than the Sherman
Aren’t we forgetting someone?
Hm, if we forgot it wasn’t important
Who?
-most powerful member of the axis-
I tend to think of the T34 as one of those "right person/equipment at the right time" cases
Hungary with the turan
Japan
How was it though?
Japanese painfully over hyped
Look man. Did they won the Kursk, Moscow, Stalingrad, Berlin? Yes
So they were good enough
wait wait the doublethink is back
funniest way to point out how lopsided the like
Only because the soviets out produced the Germans.
amount of fighting in europe is, imo
is that the top scoring ace to fly an american plane is a soviet
Well you can make Soviets to turn T34 to Panther
But why cost Soviets victory with a worse tank for them now
a P39, naturally
No no you misunderstand. I'm not saying that it is a bad individual tank. What I'm saying is that the concept of it being cheap to produce and effective is wrong.
It was actually an extremely expensive tank to produce. It was just built cheaply by cutting corners
Let me put it like this. A Sherman takes something like 25% less man hours to produce than a t34 if it were to follow spec

to be fair wasn't everyone flying the p39
Don't even get me started on the reliability issues of the t34
No time to test reliability
also i think the soviets ended up using P39s more extensively than even the US did
Bear in mind, the Russians literally add an entire state institution in creating propaganda for the t34
They did
it was way more up their alley as far as doctrinal use
the soviets love their lawnmowers
Should have been for IL-2
Since you can't shame IL-2
are we going schizo over the T-34 now
until 2014 right?
IL2 was a bloody good aircraft
On the flip side, more German aces died to the usaf iirc
P39 is perfection
Hunting B-17>> dying to Yak spam
not trying to deny or undermine that claim but it just reminded me
i uh
really wonder what the actual, not-stupid list of german aces is
Do we count the dude that died hitting a tree
given i dont buy for a moment there's just like 954467387 luftwaffe pilots with 50+ confirmed kills without using a bunch of really stupid fucking criteria
I love how hardcore socialists conveniently forget the USSRs dealing with Nazi Germany
unless the luftwaffe was actually just using typhoons thrown back in time
and nobody noticed
Lol
Ye British go broke but not because capitalism
Britain was using typhoons in ww2.
Idk mudt be time travel
The British govt consistantly goes out of its way to destroy its own industries
it's the US-UK special
Mostly the uk
the US does it a whole lot, too, it's just got a whole continent to work with
and the least drawn
everything is pain
Seriously, the scale of the uk govt killing its own industry is far beyond the usa
Ww3 begins because Detroit wants to be cool again
Robin my beloved
oh yeah i remember when detroit invaded canada in that one david cage game
Britain is a glorified R&D hub because of the way the govt Handles industry
A monument in Fairbanks, Alaska, to the American pilots who flew almost 8,000 U.S. planes to Alaska and to the Soviet pilots who flew them on to Siberia as part of Lend-Lease.
dope
Sweet
This time I don’t need a land bridge
Britain could have produced it's own mirage if it wasn't for how the British govt Handles everything
[CURRENT CONFLICT] is boring, get hyped for Detroit vs toyota, volkswagen and all of canada
wonder if the brits are gonna announce a next gen tank of their own to complete the trilogy
its funny how we get a next gen abrams announcement, followed by promos for the panther
Chal 4. 2050
they were kind of the first one to do it if you count the cr3, since that's a really major overhaul
complete gun and turret replacement and all
Lol, Britain can't produce an IFV.
Never mind a.mext gen tank
it'll be interesting to see how they compare
How the f did that convo go there
I'm calling it now, the tempest will go over budget then be cancelled
Twitter tankies man
circlejerking over germany in regards to [current conflict]
well no it was like
its not that much of a jump

Germany have done nothing in the current conflict
They have "said" they'll do stuff but have done stuff.
They are also blocking the Spanish
Untrue, they made bad decisions which is something
it started like
Whcih bit is untrue?
person A: hey maybe we shouldn't recycle the names of ww2 german tanks
person B: MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T BE SENDING WEAPONS TO [REDACTED]
it's all of europe's duty to block spain from doing stuff
They should send the spanish leopards to poland
Doing something bad is still doing something, that’s the joke
Ah fairs
couldn't send 100 Gepards because no ammo
Couldn't send 100 Leopard 1s because no clue
Couldn't send Marders because no clue
Did send 7 PHZ2000 out of 100 requested tho
And then have the poles send theirs
polish military playing gotta-catch-em-all with military hardware
go back to your room or we'll take your gibraltar privileges for an extra century
he's still going
Anyway i think the new "panther" looks good
mmyes
a minor $11 billion
I mean he has his own fantasy world to create, that can take years
Though the barrel thing seems like weird "trying to look futuristic " thing
it looks like a less goofy PL-01 as opposed to the supposed neo abrams looking like a more goofy PL-01
so good job
Pl-01 syndrome
yeah same
Looks silly
it's like if the PL-01 was uh
I feel like the next gen abrams pic is just the angle
actually real
there's a render of it up already
it uh
British
looks dumber anywhere but from the front
We don't even have A3 picture yet tho. Or A3 is called next gen Abrams?
This is literally wrong
But sure
[let me die]
The only thing they didnt do is send heavy equipment
They have supplied Russia with oil money, my mistake
Which is guess what
The majority didnt
it looks like some weird cyberpunk amphibious IFV with a K2 turret drawn from memory slapped on
Vehicle talk not going to modern politics challenge
and like
I've stopped myself

a tiny grozovoi turret slapped on the back
for some reason
am i the only one getting that vibe
Have German 130mm shell picture by Turks instead
Britain had the chance to use the CV90 and chose to develope the ajax...

i mean to be fair the beaches were a soft spot
but thats just uh
because the nazis are fucking idiots
and just kinda went "eh actually competently defending is for assholes"
Dunno man Roosevelt loved relations with Soviets. Don't think he hated them that much
No, some dead guy had some "sekrit dokumentz" onboard
With about the same reliability as the skrit documents wows uses for the Russian ship lines
Smh
ah yes I too remember when the us sat 1/3 of the war out by entering the war against germany/japan/italy 6 months after the ussr
and supporting the allies even prior to that
Ok that's too far Jord. I can find those blueprints very easily. Just don't ask me about blueprints of GK or Hannover
But they didn't provide Nazi Germany with oil like the USSR did so they are the bad guys?
'when it became clear the ussr would win' -dumps 500 billion dollars into them so they don't lose-
stalin begging for another front
wait that logic can be abused.
Since US supplied a country that was ally with Nazis. Thus US supports Nazis as well
Which one?
Yes
something something californian eugenics nonsense
I also love how american socialists seem to think that the USSR was egalitarian between the races
Completely dillusional
On paper yes
Since you were just a Soviet
Not black white asian
True, but in practice...
Just Soviet
Yeah..
I really don't care about theory with soviets and Nazi Germany because they both spent their life dick waving
Looking at you "napkinwaffer/sekrit dokumentz"
CIA files
Wut?
M16 files
exactly
alright we had a solid discussion for about half an hour
and now we're just getting into stupid bullshit
No, he means the rifle
the rifles have eyes
Rifle>> MLao16
out of curiosity horse, where'd you find that abrams render?

yeah I've seen the official GD stuff
F104 wannabe
n e e d l e
r/wows server so im not sure of the proper source unfortunately
gross
asking bc I think I saw that yesterday on a twitter thread, but I think the context was rumored features
i love that the funny top gun f-14 in ac7 can somehow do cobras now
also i didn't know that render was from the wows redit
Fairy delta 2 is unironically the biggest waste of potential in British aviation history
that saps it of 120% credibility
it's from the discord, which has like
almost nobody from the actual reddit anymore
besides a couple of the mods

because all the goobers went to the official discord after it was made a bajillion years late
Abrams fans malding when next gen tank replacement has autoloader
Russians trying to figure out who to do an autoloader that doesn't turn your turret into a rocket
This is just embarrassing
Japanese autoloader is frightening
T95 black eagle

There is a photo of a Russian tank that looks suspiciously Iike that loating around
Can't remember name
poor soviet leclerc
Exactly. Replacement for t72 and older would appear during 1990s if Soviets never fall
For 90s MBT projects
T-95 o boy
Nazis would have built a maus army if they hadn't fallen
my guy
still trying to remember if that thing still had a hull ammo rack or not
that's probably the dumbest argument you could've made
did you miss the enormous bustle
Nah. Hitler canceled heavy tank projects during 1941 I think.
Or 1942
doesn't mean it wouldn't have hull ammo storage
yeah it has the bustle autoloader
Type 10 has the bustle rack autoloader
for a T-80 modernization I suppose black eagle would of been the way to go tho
Yup
Hell would call it replacement even
Object 906 is Soviet AMX then I guess
it jsut tickles me the soviets had nearly the same idea as the french without knowing anything about legreg. outside of kgb shenanigans anyway
Also bustle
yuge autoloader bustle, kinda sorta cleft turret to separate the crew from the gun, funny gas turbine
Ok wtf happened
tonk
also why the hell does everyone keep calling the black eagle T-95
because they call like thirty different things T-95
T-95 was what eventually came the T-14

or well who's concept eventually became the T-14
i miss you funny 30mm coax
Same reason why Armata turret is still large for 120mm
She can equip 152mm in future
Since well. Getting inspired from t95
assuming she has a future
broke military + political unwillingness to adopt new designs that aren't evolutions of current platforms
Dunno man I would consider Armata as new design over t90
the more I stare at the render the more it looks like the bastard lovechild of an abrams and an armata
@manic latch Russian capped 305 from Tsushima era (most expensive shell ever produced in russia relatively speaking)
Ah the North Korean tank?
yeah therefor the political unwillingness to adopt new platforms that aren't evolutions of current platforms
no the next gen abrams

Armata style based
mf took his bustle, can't have shit in detroit
Its the middle one krem

Tell me a tank that wouldn't get destroyed by 305mm
anyway the 195 is lame and smelly
the M1 combat car
the real good soviet prototype turbo tonk is the 490A
only frontal plate maybe
your mother
also known as the super extra soviet leclerc
Leclerc best tank confirmed
I was joking comrade
wait the slopes are gone too
Which M1?
uhhhhh
why must they remove everything I love about the abrams
The M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M1 Helmet, M1 Landmine, M1 Abrams...
l o w p r o f i l e
Doesn't look destroyed to me
Since I also saw Abrams with N written on them
few have been claimed to be captured
Gotta be UAE ye
anyway I wonder how overworked the average panther crewman is gonna be
I mean if you shoot the Leclerc in relatively the same place in the hull as the leopard 2 its going up
Challenger 2
hull ammo storage right in front of the frontal plate
they'll unionize
Yeah UAE use N letter for their tanks
I think that's just the Gulf State coalition friendly marker
Oh
since that's the Saudi m1A2

Reminder that Abrams is assymetrical
M1 Abraham Lincoln
M1 Abra||kadabra||
M1 Abraham Crijnsen
abrams getting replaced/major rebuild before Bradley
@shrewd pecan So what cause Abrams turrets to fly
probably hitting the hull ammo rack
probably overpenetrated the hull ammo box
So ammo inside hull= usually turret will fly
Got it
I dunno why it took so long to click
but we got panther carrying its own loitering munitions
hull looks fucked so its probably not that one situation
where the IED was powerful enough to send the entire tank flying
causing the turret to fall off
and then the next abrams being able to work with said munitions carried separately
its almost like tanks dont like being penetrated, nuts
Switchblade carrier
For Horse
Like this one?
hop on the switchblademobile
Yeah it's gotta be IED
finally, an oasis
thank you friend
drone fren
anyways now I post something obscure and French
and its IFV friend that doesn't look as nice
oh so this is the weird occult bullshit the nazis were playing with
surprisingly practical
"The USSR spent the first 1/3rd of the war on the sidelines, & the rest of it conquering Germany's empire for itself & hoping for the US & Japan to bleed one another dry.
When it became clear the US would win, the USSR led an invasion against soft spots in Japanese-occupied Asia while the bulk of the Japanese military was concentrated against the US Navy."
okay less practical
I summon obelisk the tormentor
lmao
trying to remember how this shit is called and found this article
Vextra
The Vextra 105-mm tank destroyer was developed as a private venture by GIAT Industries. It is also referred as an armored reconnaissance or fire support vehicle. Vextra was designed to operate alongside the main battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
France had a Stryker MGS before America did
it's so fucking obscure that the wikipedia page literally doesnt have any picture
jesus
LMAO i see the problem
shame honestly, Vextra 105 looked really nice
btw,
workers largely liberated themselves through commie partisan struggle.
there was this story of the Ducati brothers trying to smuggle both Italian labor and soldiers alike so that Krauts couldn't use them as expendable Volksturm by making them Ducati Radio factory workers.
My (non-existent) Ducati Monster is a commie machine confirmed.
started being designed in 1991
(But damn it I wish I had one)
gee i wonder what vehicle started being produced that year
my beloved
gamer RGB Centauro
New panther looks interesting, it has a seat for an optional 4th crew member
I'm totally not convinced with the odd 4 crew layout(two in the turret, two in the hull).
130m smoothbore with an autoloader is fine at all but other features is just... wtf ?!?
...you know, the "other" features of the KF51
guessing 4th crewmember is a drone operator?
I think so
Dronebros
Any reason to retain the 4th crew member I suppose
if you don’t need him just leave the 4th seat empty at that point
drone operator or company commander
With the type of capability going into next gen tanks, especially data management I can see the use in maintaining the 4th crewmen beyond just maintenance reasoning
there’s other options for this of course, no reason why you can’t just offload drone duty and data management to support units
tho with the leaning towards giving frontline units reconnaissance drones along with other unmanned platforms I think the 4th dude is gonna remain necessary if you’re gonna down the route of data centric armored warfare
it’s probably better to have the option for a 4th guy and not need it, than to need it and not have it
cv90120 and Centauro 2 moment
either sensors or APS
it's smoke
Well the turret is also pretty huge tbh
Ariete modernization
Nah it's not that
?
It's a testbed for the centauro B2 turret and to show modularity
The AMV will keep the old turret
yeah that just clicked in my head that that’s the centauro turret
Now when do we get tracked centauro
Tracked Centauro..? ohdear
A lot of rumours before this video were that the turret was either photoshopped or non functional
But well
Cuz these were the only "proof" we had before
Are we sure KF51 will not stay as Technology demonstrator only?
Tho it's Rheinmetall. Some Europeans will likely buy it
depends if anyone needs a light tank
tho euro customer wise I don’t really see much point in it
Muh 130mm
if you’re buying it for euro your better off just buying a actual MBT
See I wonder. This turret has better technology than current beings. Can you slap it on Leo 2 hull
welp... atleast Poland gets the K2PLs
So thats the only good stuff in Eurosatory 2022.
poor Polish Logistical guys
market for light tanks is dominated by wheeled vehicles in Europe already
And there’s already a leopard 130 turret on the market
There is?
Yeah logistic guy has to handle the differences between Abrams and Leo 2 fuel consumption too
have the chally with it
Did you guys even sold Chally to people
the panther's not a demonstrator is it?
Wait Tato ain't british
thought they showed off a separate one
I’m American
Close enough
And no one’s buying the 130
I really feel it is
Many new tech in single go
Polands been operating a mixed tank fleet for over a decade
Melting pot of tanks
if they were having problems with juggling logistics for different vehicles they wouldn’t be procuring multiple tank platforms
Have you ever experienced the time where you buy many books at once but turns out you forgot to read the old ones you bought before

I really like the 2018 version EMBT.(the one with the Leclerc turret)
But this 2022 version raised me alot of ❓
the less said about the early EMBT concept, the better
The 2018 was just an hybrid tho
I want Abrams replacement to stay at same size but with how tech going it could be even lighter and smaller now
depends on how it goes
I doubt the US will stick with the crew less turret concept especially with the shit the army wants
how does that relate to military logistics
each Polish brigades logistics units are built to support their tanks
This isn’t BTGs where they’re dependent on support units not apart of the unit
couple with the fact the abrams runs on the same fuel as the rest of the Polish tank fleet
You know what's the reason for multiple tanks still I wonder.
Never understood why Russia keeps 3 different models as well
logistics men used to having to refuel everything from rosomaks, BMP-1s and PT-91s somehow won’t be able to adjust to having to put in a few more gallons in a abrams
Leopard 2PL had its own problems... ohdear

which is when the Abrams comes along, then K2PL...
They’re operated in different regions of the country typically
T-80s are mainly a eastern thing
Yeah I think T80 can't handle cold while T72 can
Or was it other way
Other way around
Ah
T-80s are operated near China typically
while T-72 units are mostly in the west of Russia
Why not cancel t72 for t90 now
because your army has thousands of newly modernized T-72s
They are kind of being cancelled
And thousand more T-72s to rebuild to new T-72 standards
Ah the good ol B3M
T-72 "standards"
... ohdear, poor ol T-72s in the "storage"
seeing thouands of T-72s mothballed in a very sad state
T-72s in storage aren’t in operational condition but doesn’t mean you can’t rebuild the hulls to modern standard assuming they aren’t entirely rust
It's still a T72. You can get that girl running after 100 years
you can’t
You ruined my Mad Max dream Tato
a T-72 left to rust isn’t gonna much use unless you’re either cannibalizing it or rebuilding it

any tank left sitting for extended periods of time is gonna need work to get working again
yeah but the US has money to actually maintain them
and no
It’s closer to like 4K
There’s about 750 M1A1s still in service
idk quality of those 4k tanks is gonna vary obviously and are gonna need work to get back to being operational
because the USSR could man all of them easily and still build more, so they could keep them, more than have to
Russia has to
because lmao building more
Tho they’re kept in actual good conditions for storage
and the army has the budget to actually maintain them
Good times of 1980 when USSR had 50.000 tanks
now its much much less than that
a tank in the good maintenance is worth two in the trash, or so they say right
funny enough, T-34-85 are in excellent condition...
Then again, that's for the useless parade
while the T-72s didn't get the same treatment as the other ones

generally the storage fleet tanks get rebuilt to new standards anyways when they get reactivated or sold so
Calling that parade useless is like calling fourth of July celebrations useless
We don’t have massive military parades
Yeah we just shoot some fireworks into the air
Didn't the US Military show its military parade after Desert Storm?
That's kinda shame ngl
Maybe some smaller local gatherings
that was once
I mean that’s what they should be reserved for
National triumphs or victories
Yeah the last time we had some sort of parade it was hell on the roads
Precisely
idk if you’re gonna win a war or put a man on mars or something you might as well have a military parade
@fierce sparrow Also Yemen forces still use T34
welp its the Middle East...
Nothing out of the ordinary
Bringing old tanks into combat
you'll note the gunner isn;t inside the T-34
There is a reason big fuck off parade like those are synonym with uh... not the best of countries when it comes to like
Freedom
Hey at least it's not the cursed Sherman
sounds like a what artillery crews would do...
from its own ammo being bodged together in a workshop
solid shot only
with small arms propellant
that
cursed tanks are my favorite
*that's just a Sherman Kangaroo
Wait. That's fucking m50
That’s just reusing old hulls for new purposes
Nagmachon is a heavily armoured infantry fighting vehicle fielded by the Israel Defense Forces. The Nagmachon evolved from the NagmaSho't APC, which in turn was based on Centurion Sho't hulls from the 1970s and 1980s. The vehicle carries thick belly armour designed to withstand mine-blasts and mountings on the front hull for various engineering ...
idk if you want to go with cursed HIFVs
Siege tower
Is that a tiny casemate
Don't worry, I'm not a tank.. just a silly looking lorry

The future of AFV design looks bleak indeed
Lego AFV
god it has the Namer IFV turret
Dumpster on wheels
No that's the jaguar /s
When you have a war to fight at 9 and an Amazon package to deliver by 10

IJA after they discovered the IJN scums is building pagoda on their Battleship so they come up with a brilliant contraption based on Chi-ha medium tank called the Chi-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha to show the superiority of the Army over the scums that was the Navy
we're at the "literally repost NCD" stage?
it needs to go in descending order as you increase in height
have a 15cm AA gun on the bottom
then a 15cm howitzer
with a 12cm naval gun conversion on top
then a 12cm short
then a 10cm AT gun
then a 7.5cm gun
then a 5.7cm AT gun
then a 5.7cm short
then a 4.7cm AT
then a 3.7cm AT
then a 25mm auto
then a 20mm auto
then a 13.2mm HMG
then a 7.7mm MG
then a 6.5mm MG
ok we get it
but do you really?
Can we pretend that Belgians in the night sky are shooting SCAR’s
oh god please take it off the wedge leo 2s actually look good
they dont deserve this
this one seems to have a bit more stuff attached to the APS
towards the barrel
radar or sensor maybe?
nah like
the thing marked countermeasure
looks like it got stuck to the front of the turret
rather than on the side
ohhh
which is kind of galaxy brain
either that or they added an extra one
because the Leo 2's is way back there
Yesterday was the 79th anniversary of the sinking of USS R-12
In June 12th, 1943
USS R-12 was conducting a torpedo approach exercise off Key West (Florida).
As she completed preparations to dive, her forward battery compartment began to flood.
The crew tried to blow ballast, but she sank in about 15 seconds.
From the crew of 47, only 5 (the commander, one officer and 3 enlisted men) who were in the bridge managed to survive
Remember kids, never pull an Austria-Hungary
Julio Lima de Moura and Alberto Gonçalves Rosauro de Almeida:
Both were on the 42 casualties of that sub
Shouldn't have go for Serbia
Unless it’s a museum sub
they’re cool
I went on the Dutch museum sub today
Was the best sub I've ever been on
They left the periscopes fully functional
How many subs you visited
4
Damn
I spent a night on Torsk once
One day i'll visit Riachuelo
Our Oberon class one (not the confused with the Scorpene class)
Ovens (Perth, my hometown) Onslow (Sydney), Le Redoubtable and nowTonjin
Well
In fact Riachuelo is at the RJ's drydock now
So she can get an inspection and consequent repairs if needed
it's been this way since february lmao
I like that you can see Texel from the periscopes
Last time I visited there was the ex crewmember too.
qwerty its mostly a you thing
There's also a couple of Musea in A'dam and Rotterdam
View from the book depository
The Dutch have stolen my heart
I used to think the French had the coolest submarine museum
I have converted
To the light of "hehe flicky switch"

Did you try and aim the periscope at the naval base?
Deodoro at Toulon
Oh yeah i know that one
You guys are similar in some cases
They french guns?
Plus 4x1 120mm/L50
6x1 57mm
4x1 47mm
And two submerged torpedo tubes
Nope
Armstrong
Well
i think the secondary are French
Probably Hotchkiss
Gonna ask the Admiralty for that
Need to search to some ship that was built in France just like Deodoro
But that had French guns as well
Capitan Prat
From my country's navy that is

Have Foch instead
Prat was one of the names of USS Nashville during her service in Chile
Well
We're talking of another ship

Sweet dreams Riche

This one?
Yes
So?
Does it look like KC Akagi under a blanket?
Why can’t we have a cv named napoleon
Too short runway

Does kremlin unironically believe the short thing
I've listened to this song to many times in my life as is
Da heck.. I thought I deleted that?
Things you believe about Soviets does feel like this
