Illya's thing is that she burns HP for her skills and then gets it back when she does her ult. So if you can do some damage to her early you kill her before she noms your whole front line

basically, Illya comes -really close- to killing herself before her first ult

unless your whole team is dedicated to feeding her TP

even then, it doesn't take much extra push, if you can do it early

well, it'll be a while before PVP is relevant for ya

Summer Peco is -also- a char who does physical AOE damage

It's a fun/cute game but not one you can farm on all day - you have a certain amount of stamina you get and a certain amount of stamina you can earn and anything past that is whale territory

you use the divine amulets to buy memory shards for chars that aren't farmable (or anyone else, but... take it real easy on that)

yup, that's the basic upgrade loop

push as far as you can, pull up and upgrade equipment, then push as far as you can

The upgrade system is interesting

At first I thought it was the traditional gear system.

And then I realized it's actually not.

Nope. Give the char a gear set, then they eat it and keep the stats and you start working on the next set.

which can get funky because you can upgrade the gear to improve the stats, and the upgraded stats don't get eaten... so at the top end there are a few times it's better NOT to upgrade a char for a while

especially when the next/last available gear set only has some of the pieces released. Like right now, some chars are better at rank 9, 6 pieces of enhanced gear than they would be with rank 10, 3 pieces of enhanced gear
