the reason you don't use intel as a streamer is due to its inferior multicore performance. if you do multiple things at once (like streaming and gaming), a ryzen cpu is usually better.

i have heard great things about ryzen processors for multicore work and that they give intel a run for their money especially since they're cheaper. In fact, i put ryzen CPU's in our machines here at the office and they run great

ryzen does general favor at least 3200, but tbf, you should generally have higher speed ram these days so that you're not throttling your system with shitty ram speed
