After reinstalling the game to properly get that optional 600+mb update, no matter what in-game settings I do or allow notifications from Al in phone settings, I've stopped getting the icons telling me when a commission is over.

I think I stopped getting icons as well and I believe I've given the app permission to tell me when commissions are done. On another note, my game literally just froze and my phone asked me to close the app.

I know I did the asset repair and clearing thing yesterday but that solved the loading screen issue. Should I try it again for this as well?

its a known bug, if you'd like to try fixing it I will tell you now the only workaround is to just entirely disable notifications so it doesnt crash your game when a commission ends or etc
overall, there is no fix atm for no notifications

There's an odd gameplay bug I've been noticing for a while with BB's. Namely if you aim and fire the main gun at an area/target near the top of the screen, sometimes only two shells rather than three fly out.

Hello! Since the latest update, I'm no longer getting notifications when commissions or research is done.
After the update, the system on the device when you start the game gives alerts about a critical error and the game crashes.
Is there anyway to recover an account with only a bound yostar account? I've spent some money on the game before also if that helps. I just assumed verifying/creating my Yostar account would be enough, sorry

no i didnt bind it thats the problem i thought it was locked to my google account so i hit the uninstall to fix the bug i was having and then i couldnt log back into my account. but i know the account name and what i had in the dock and my main fleet and the l2d skins as well

google is not a bind and has never been a bind, its apple, yostar, facebook, and twitter

@raw drum contact customer support for account recovery, google has never been a form of bind so if you mention that it was bound to your google, they will be confused as its not a thing

@sinful yoke It was both Repair Live2D and Repair Assets. I had to repair the Assets to fix the loading screen bug. I'm not 100% sure if it's reliable from Live2D, but the subtitles from the interactions of your secretaries doesn't show and I figured that was also the problem. Might be just me, but if so how can I fix this issue?
I seem to be having an issue with an infinite loading glitch for Azur Lane alone. I can play any other game just fine and access Azur Lane menus and dorm and such but when I try to sortie it loads forever on 97-99% progress. I've restarted my phone and it didn't do anything, is there a known fix?

Random crash can also be a sign that your device can't handle AL
It seems to coincide with a commission or lab project finishing.
But it is distinct possibility that it will help
I've heard if we disable notifications entirely in-game it'll help and it seemed to. I turned it back on to see if maybe I could luck out.

I've done a double run of repairing and clearing assets and the dialogue text from the secretaries are still missing. I'm gonna just assume its from the update and it'll be fixed within the next. My loading screen issue is fixed which is good enough for me.

It started to appear for me when I tried to run a third test of repairing assets
I was guessing the same. I think my phone can't handle the game (and has since 2018) but something about that last update has it wonky.
I'm just gonna wait it out and hopefully see the secretary dialogue again after the next update.

the stuck problem can be easily fixed by removing the newest version 5.1.434 and installing v5.1.6 instead

When I updated to 1.5.2 iOS, SSR Ships have disappeared. It also makes the Build screen unusable if I have a SSR ship as my secretary, and I'm unable to do battles with any fleet that has a SSR ship.

Glad the fix is there but still sucks to need it it this soon after they added it as a preventative
they added it as a result of the update 
the issue was way too complicated as users installed the updates in the wrong order after a hotfix was sent out to fix the issues from the update and it was far too late to add a preventative measure so they had to add a graphical reinstall to fix it for all users
there was just a 30mb update, any idea what the update was for? cause I want to turn my notification back on if the update is for fixing that

Is anyone else having issues with the game constantly crashing at random?
I was in the middle of looking at the shipyard and the game just kicks me to the log in screen, and my phone (Android) states the app frequently crashes when running in the background. This has been the case ever since I updated it with the optional update from the google play store.
Not "random", it crashes (crashed?) on getting a notification
kinda both. Game will "crash" where it boots me to log in, force restarts/reloads or kicks me to my phones main screen and closes the app. In the background, if I run a phone optimization, the software states AL is "Frequently experiencing crashes" and asks if I want to suspend the app.
I'm having issues with Adding ships to the dorm and my excercises get stuck at 97.7% loading
not sure if I need to do the repair assets that was pinned here or not to try and help improve these issues.
check the pinned tops, I think they have a post stating you'll need to repair both L2D and regular assets or some such to help fix that

Yep check the pins, they posted a potential solution. Be sure to do the repair when hooked to wifi, the process requires like a 2gb re-download of the assets

if you have already cleared some sectors (thus getting the rewards from clearing them) before buying the logger, then yes you'll only get the rewards equivalent to the sectors that you haven't cleared yet

I think the playstore update was actually mandatory cause if you reinstall the game, that update dont appear on the playstore which suggested that it was installed with reinstallation

the hotfix should have fixed it but if you managed to install both hot fixes before installing the playstore update then please check pins

no one knows when so it is whenever the dev decides to fix it, for the crashing part you can just turn off notification ingame. Ppl have post a lot of times above that the notification is the thing causing the crash

Maybe u can try an emulator, like Bluestacks, to prevent the battery from dying fast, if u have a PC

long time loading on start screen (where you select server etc), disconnect message, then I get through to the main screen (with your secretary), long time loading again. disconnect back to main screen, long time loading. get in to main screen.... and it appears to work again right now..

ok, works now - so to address whatever issue it was (tentatively) it took two repair assets with two seperate downloads
The pins only suggested one thing which matched this issue, which was changing the internet connection type
that did not work - the double-repair did
I dont see any where where we ask you to change your internet connection
you are supposed to start from top to bottom
the spreadsheet infinite loading is for an entirely different issue

When I reopen the game the first time I noticed a commission was complete. The second time I reopened after it happened I was greeted with a message that my pr ship had reached a new development.

Hello, I deleted azur lane a few weeks ago for space and I downloaded it today, the account had both of my twitter and facebook binded but today when I tried to log in to them they don't sign me into my original account. I think they somehow binded to the new account? I'm not sure how to fix this
After you've logged in through your bind option, make sure you choose the correct server. Your account stays on the server that it was created on (such as Sandy, Washington, etc)

No, it won't be. I would recommend just trying to log in through your FB/Twitter and trying the servers again. But if no luck, contact support and they'll help you locate and recover your account. Their contact is in the bot message just a few messages above

yes, but also make sure you are also on the correct server when you sign in on your new phone. And it's also good to note down your UID, in game name, server, commander level somewhere for reference if you ever need to email support.

Hey folks, I'm running into some weird issues this morning, on Azur Lane I just can't see the ship art of ship girls once I click on them in the dock, the voice plays, but the artwork is missing, just a few arts still show, and this same morning, I noticed that I couldn't download any image from discord, it gives me an error about storage access, I know it's not related to AL, but both those apps have automatically been updated during night time, and I feel like this storage access issue also affects AL even tho it isn't said explicitly and all this despite the access being ofc granted, I haven't touched a thing since yesterday. My phone is a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, any similar feedback for this kind of issue?

That one means you need to login to the binds on your left
you login at the title screen, not settings, so you shouldnt have an invalid login token after you login correctly

I came because of another bug. The game just won't start. The last couple of days there were no notifications and reboots occurred every few minutes. However, the game at least worked.
Today I just put my phone down with auto-combat enabled in the game and walked away for a while. Coming back. The screen says that the game has been restarted several dozen times and something may be wrong. I clear history and restart. Does not help. There is only one entry in the logs and this is an exception regarding the fact that the game cannot find the path to the files (/data/app/com.YoStarEn.AzurLane-.../base.apk!assets/cri_azurlane_auth_file).
"fix" the game does not work.
- there is no update in the play market;
- the game does not reach the loading stage, where you can start a self-test. Just a black screen;
- the game does not reach the stage where it checks for internal updates.

every other case of a similar situation (it reboots once on start up then reboots multiple times during gameplay) was fixed with disabling notifications, and since you sent a path to the files a reinstall may benefit to fix that specific file
