guys my game is now updating and i was reading online about people losing their accounts, i downloaded this game a week ago and my first time with loading screen i think i was asked to make an account (or thats what i thought) so i used my email with yostar and i received a code in my gmail and i confirmed it, and since then everyday when i play its says "succesfully logged in" so i thought i already have an account linked to yostar, so i didn't bind it to twitter or facebook, now that im updating is it real that everything i had is lost? if so what can i do about it

and people only lose their accounts if they didn't bind them. and even if they were lost accounts can be recovered.

@solar apex k so there may be a fix for the api error. you can keep trying to login and hope it works or if you have your account bound with any of the other methods try logging in with those instead. if not, then try playing on a different device and binding to the other methods, then login.

you can't save manually. everything is saved server side and local side automatically. if you bound your account in the settings menu then it's safe to reinstall.

yes your account will be safe if you've bound it. but if you want to make sure your account is safe you can try logging in on another device or emulator before you reinstall.

@wild lava There are some known API issues w/ FB and Twitter for some people when they're logging in. Unfortunately there's no solid solution but a lot of players say that it'll just randomly work when they keep trying to log in w/ it. So I'd say just keep trying and perhaps it'll work eventually.

@lament hawk Yeah, the Play Store will sometimes either not show the correct file size or download some old extra files at times. It'll eventually finish though. The recent update size should be around 700MB-1.4GB

So I clear the data and redownload the game and somehow now it seems I have new account again

If you are experiencing the Mikasa loading screen (as shown in this screenshot), please try either fully reinstalling the game (only if you have your account bound to FB, Twitter, or Yostar) or try to manually delete your game's cache by going to "Storage->Android->data->com.YoStarEN.AzurLane"

the infinite loading screen is a connection error or corrupted data. and as i said the only way to fix it is to try a different connection type or reinstall the game. continuously asking others for a different solution isn't gonna help.

@topaz sky i mean some thing are behind the notch (the left arrow when you are in the main menu to go to commissions, tactical class etc..) i can still access it so it's not a big deal but was just reporting this problem

it's not a game issue that the emulators can't run the game smoothly anymore. most emulators mostly use the x86 architecture and somewhat use the arm architecture as well. them using the arm architecture is the only thing that even lets the game run right now. so it's up to the emulators to further support the arm architecture.
For now just login do hard mode in auto 3 times and do commissions

Even though I downloaded the previous update which was 1.32 gb and I was able to do the head Maid mission and oil rewards
They most likely just rebuilt the old update and had to push the entire thing out again.

The new update left Azur Lane to crash on start up. reading the twitter feed said to reinstall the game to after hotfix. I did this with same result. I use a venue 8 with android OS. To check to see if my account was still there I installed Azur Lane on my PC bluestacks. logged in through my twitter account and found no data. I have email.ed Azur Lane supprt team, but have not other than the bot saying to please elaborate. I know i linked it to twitter due to the UI overhaul half a year ago, as to not lose my account. please I don't know what else to do.
after you reinstalled did you select the correct server?
ok. well if you emailed them with your UID or your username and the server you were on you can ignore the automated reply and just wait for a human response. response time is 8-12 business days.
if you have your UID you can ask one of the mods to check if your account is bound to anything.
also can you try all servers just in case?

It doesn't appear to actually be in the zone - I noticed the ones that are have a brighter shade of red in comparison
The top photo is from after I just finished that level and it appears to be well within the zone.
It's really strange, just at times the thing doesn't work for whatever reason.
Normally, if it was not within the zone that empty button for subs would not be there.

So I had no idea the recent update would be so large. There isn't enough space on my phone for it even after deleting a bunch of stuff from it. It downloaded the 1.47 GB update but is now asking for even more space for another update and I literally cannot make any more space and cannot access my account in any way

The update is big because we're pretty much redownloading the entire game. They replaced the obb file with a new one having a different file name.

There is not, sorry to say. If it does help at all, the JP client did release a fix that addressed some iOS issues (not sure if it was specifically for the crashing) so ideally they should be able to release a fix before long

@grizzled knoll It's a random issue that some players have. If you haven't already, download the recent APK that was released on the play store around 12 hours ago. It's possible that it'll fix it
well she says she just can't unbind it cause the bind button is greyed out so she can't really put her own fb instead of mine

@clear crown Well the greyed out part should be "Disconnect FB". She just needs to press that and log in through FB to unbind it. Although, if it's the only bind on the account, you won't be able to. You need at least two binds on the account since the game won't let you unbind your last and only bind

so she can't disconnect nor change it to hers

yeah the binding seems a bit messy i even tried in a different server and i still couldn't connect with my fb cause it says it's already bound but since i can't unbind it well.. same for twitter

@mystic cradle There do seem to be some issues w/ FB logins. Unfortunately the only advice we can offer is try restarting your device as well as your network router. And clearing the game's cache. Not a guaranteed fix, but it's possible it'll work. Or if you'd like, a full reinstall

@carmine hedge Sorry for the random ping, but as mentioned above here, some players are mentioning that being on the most recent update for iOS on X devices will solve the crashing issue. I personally can't remember if you were on the most updated version but wanted to mention you in case you weren't
@clear crown Yepp. If you wanna disconnect your FB account from the Azur Lane account that she's using now, you'll need to click on "Disconnect Facebook" and shown in your screenshot and then log in w/ your FB credentials. That'll disconnect your FB account and then she'll be able to bind it to her FB
