It works in Nox but it's really slow. I wasn't like that last time I used it.
It's working on 64-bits Pie on Bluestacks, no lag and "normal" download speed.
I did that on MEMU and now works, on my old 34bit instance you can pass through if you memorize were the promps are, because you are in a black screen but the buttons work, the issue is that once in game the UI is so messed up that you can't even understand what are you doing...

X out of that screen, on the main screen click the "Yostar" label on left side of screen. Use that window to re-link to your bound account.
Make sure you're on the correct server as well when you log in.

Too bad the Bluestacks' own app store has no button to update the game. Google is the only way to do it, and they block it.
they compressed files requiring the need to redownload them.
Having the same issue on my android tablet, if I force close it and open it again it will not even pretend to start downloading just keeps saying checking for updates. If I then uninstall and redownload from the play store, once I open Azur Lane I get stuck on the same screen as in you picture. I have yet to find a solution 😦

I keep seeing that red "!" new/notice icon by the settings "cogwheel" in the top-right when I login (on the homescreen). I go through all of the options and tabs, but I can't see anything within that has that 'notice' icon (all assets are downloaded/up to date). Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Thanks for the tip! I'm on Ryzen so libhoudini was really painful, painful enough for me to resort to using Android Studio for Azur Lane until I realized I needed to use libdnk instead. I really hope this gets resolved somehow.

the yostar bind system isnt live yet. you need to log in using the email you used to bind the game from the ingame settings. select the login option on the left side of the title screen. if that doesnt work, thne you need to email CS for account recovery.

My account is on Amagi server btw. Because of the ignore thing, sure it doesn't pop out the register again but they forced me to make a new account

finally found settings that work, no clue which one actually fixed it, but got the game running

Yeah, I had the same experience. -_- Gonna wait for vendor image too. For now I can run bluestacks on a crappy lenovo with Windows, but Waydroid really is so much better and it's worked perfectly for so long until now.

I log in via facebook and its a success, then i get select server, i select washington but i get sent to the tutorial. Keep in mind that i can only login to my account on my old device, but when i try with my new one i cant seem to find my account.

I need help, i recently changed phone and i reinstalled azur lane on the new phone, i checked that i have a yostar account binded with facebook but when i try to log in on the new phone with facebook or yostar and select the sandy server it still gives me the tutorial. have i lost the account forever?

Appears to be a DirectX vs OpenGL issue then cause all I did was swapped from DirectX to OpenGL and mine immediately started working

It started happening with the recent update, never happened before. I tried repairing, no issues found. have not tried reinstalling yet, as I am not within reach of a wifi the next couple days and the install is a bit too large for mobile data.

Hello, I'm here to report that it was due to network connection issue. Turns out that if I use private DNS the game unable to connect to server. The issue is resolved by setting the DNS to automatic.
This is quite strange tho, since I have been using private DNS since years ago and no issue ever arise.

did you patch your ndk for playing Blue Archive ?
I did try a bunch of patched versions of ndk before I upgraded and they didn't change the behaviour when I was having issues. In the end I deleted those and reset it to the ndk that waydroid_script installs. using lineageos 18.1 with gapps here.

Mine worked similarly to your video before updating my images. I did play a bit with houdini before and then upgraded my images, removed houdini and reinstalled ndk, and then it suddenly worked. Can't recall doing anything other than that. If I have some spare time I might try this on a VM because I'd rather not want to have issues when I decide to reinstall my OS
Ok, so I retraced your steps a bit Kaa, and I can now run Azur Lane in Waydroid again. First I tried installing the script for running Blue Archive (worked, never knew about this solution until today) but AL was the same. So I installed libhoudini with waydroid_script. Then I installed libndk again and I managed to get into my port again without crashing. Also patched it for BA again and now I can run both Azur Lane and Blue Archive in Waydroid!
Oh, yay! just running it on a VM since now I have that in my ansible config for my next OS reinstall

@noble urchin @zealous sedge It does seem strange but sometimes you just need to reinstall things. shrugs Switching from to libhoudini and then back to libndk solved my problem. I'm running EndeavourOS on hardware. Also Chayo, try applying the BA patch afterwards and you'll be able to play Blue Archive too.

Anyone else having issues updating on LDplayer? mine always gets stuck there and says failed would you like to retry. and it never works, tried reinstalling and still same issue. Also somehow cant clear cache on LDplayer, it just keeps saying computing...
Played a bit on a clean VM with Waydroid using software rendering.
libndk didn't work on a fresh install, so I went to houdini, launched AL then immediately swapped to ndk, same problem again.
So I decided to first run houdini and leave the game running a little
What I did ingame:
- I checked "do not show again today" on the news
- updated all assets in 'audio'
- set 3D settings to high
- ran one battle, exited out after ~30 sec, and then left it sitting in main menu for like 5 min.
Then installed ndk, restarted Waydroid and then it worked.
Fun thing I notice now (only on the VM): Clicking on news crashes the game, I don't have that on my main PC tho.
Hope you can get yours fixed.
I did also click around in AL a bit with libhoudini before switching back, didn't think that would be important though.
I kinda wonder if it's news tbf because what we had before was that the game worked for ~1 sec, and news usually does pop up then

This morning I tried again to see how far I could get without the game crashing. I got the daily login reward, and managed to get into some settings menus from there. It's when I clicked to go back to the main screen that the game restarted itself.

Tried a reinstall, the issue persist unfortunately. If I use shared screen with two open apps, readjusting the size of the app window for azure lane removes the black screen/artifact screen, but its both annoying playing even smaller because of only half the phone screen and also having to resize every time after a battle, building a ship, limit breaking etc.
@noble urchin @fringe tinsel my temporary solusion is have to switch between libndk for AK and BA then switch back to libhoudini for AL alone XD.
You're probably on to something regarding the News window. Just tried to sign in after coming home today and the problem is the same as before. Also the solution, same as before. Just a couple of commands in the terminal every day but it sure is inconvenient.

There might also be an easier way to script this in:
~/.local/share/waydroid/data/data/com.YoStarEN.AzurLane/shared_prefs/com.YoStarEN.AzurLane.v2.playerprefs.xml then edit the field server_notice.dont_remind, only set the value to the current or lower epoch, higher ones like a year into the future etc don't work and it'll just reset.

I had the same issue when the update first happened but then after playing with things, installing houdini then upgrading and swapping to ndk it somehow worked on my machine, who knows why at this point.
But currently running libnb and that fixes both news and AMD performance, also on a VM of mine so it might be the better universal option than the work-around for news, probably.

Also today I accidentally tapped on the Account section, and I would love to know why anyone thinks "Request received, your account will be deleted soon," is an okay thing to put on what looks like an acknowledgment box instead of just not drawing that asset unless there's an active request.

Hello, I just redownloaded Azurlane after months of not playing it and received an account migration tab, I entered the only email I use to play the game, after finishing it, the boud tab pops up but I just click X, chose Amagi server (the only server I played on) and enter the game, but I somehow got tutorial (sign of new account).
I then restarted the game, the account binding pops up again but when I chose to bind account using my email, it says "binding failed. The Yostar account has been bound with another in-game account"
is there any way to get my old account back? I have my old UID, SKUID and bound SKUID screen shot

I sometime had the same problem. Switching screen works for me, ie opening/closing status bar and switching apps. Does that help you?

Someone in my guild has the same issue on linux waydroid
the solid one just switch between libhoudini and libndk
first when the day reset you have to use libhoudini to login the game and checked in "don't remind news" box.
after that switch back to libndk and play the game.
every time when switch between libhoudini and libndk. you need to close waydroid
also @noble urchin write a script for that job but I didn't test it.

The game keeps freezing/restarting on LDPlayer 9 since the update on May 8th. It won't last more than 30 minutes without either freezing during a fight (in which case there's no error message in debug mode and there's no response, I have to close the game and restart it) or going into a dark gray screen and resetting (this happens either during fights or even in menus). Before May 8th there were no such problems.
I've already created a new device on LDPlayer and redownloaded the game but the problem persists.
Later, I've disabled the notifications both in-game and in android settings, since I thought the problem might be related to them, but it turns out it's not.
And on my phone, Redmagic 8S Pro, the game sometimes freezes during startup

tell them you need help recovering your account. an automatic email response will let you know it was received. when a person responds, give them the info they ask for to prove account ownership. account name, server, uid, stuff like that. if you made any purchases, send them the receipts as well. since its the weekend, they might be a bit slow to respond, so be patient

Hello, I’m having issues with the game not Loading and just giving me this
Just checking to see if anybody using a version of Androidx86 can no longer install the game after the required update a week ago. Was running Android x86(Android 8) in vmware, but no longer compatible. Tried with BlissOS 14(Android 11) install that I haven't used in a while and it states it is no longer compatible with device. AL ran on that with no problem before. Fresh install of BlissOS14/15 show it is not compatible either anymore. Other games I had installed are working no problem.
Are you playing JP or CN version? Since English giving that there's something very wrong with your install?

Since the recent mandatory update, I'm experiencing frequent lockups, or just randomly restarting the game, both on Bluestacks as well as my Android phone. There's no consistent circumstance, sometimes I can run the game for a half hour straight without a hiccup, sometimes it will lock up after just a minute or two. It just happens with no warning or particular situation/game mode I can point at

usually no, but you can for the valentines gifts. go to your depot and use the scan/resend options. if the deleted mail was not a valentines day gift, then you dont need to worry. any items and resources in the mail will be collected before the mail is deleted. gold and oil go to your Storage tab in the mail ui.
Anyone still on Bluestack 4.240? Game is crashing practically any point in the game even when idling and is unplayable since the big update. Game is totally fine on the phone and no issues. I havent tried BlueStack 5 yet.

no. just ignore this message. on the bottom right, select dont remind me for 7 days. that yostar account system isnt live yet. if you remember your ingame email/social bind, use that from the title screen.

There was some recent update that messed up some of my assets on my tab so I deleted the game and installed thus prompting me to have to log in again
So I'm still logged in on my phone and I can still see some of the account details it's just I'd like to change them because I genuinely forgot
Also for some reason my saved login credentials for Facebook aren't working probably because my phone number got deleted and it's messed up some things, so yeah do I still need to contact yostar

oh, ok. if you still access on your phone and can get in game, then you can set a yostar account. then use that email, once bound, to log into your tablet. youll need to contact CS to remove the FB bind though, but that isnt account recovery.

everytime i go to the skins/skins rental tab my game gets stuck, the animations are still playing but i cant do anything, i have to force close the game. this only started happening this update, any ideas?
yeah seems to be some coding bug affecting a lot of people, something something 32bit 64bit interaction. i am affected too. need to wait for dev to fix this. do not go to skin screen, or it will softlock you again. avoid it for now until it is fixed
remove L2D skins from your secretaries as well, otherwise it might make it unplayable for you

I'm on BlueStacks and everytime I go into the Skin shop, the shop sort of freezes the game. I can't click anything, I see the skins displayed and the L2D Chibi character moving, but everything else is stuck.

i rented shimanto's skin, and now secretaries are just broken. none of them display, i can't cycle through them, only the audio works. i tried taking her off the secretary list, but that didn't help either.

Hello, dear Tech Support, on current version of BlueStack 5.22.75.1026 P64 on Win11 pro x64 with AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and current driver 25.5.1 on AMD R9 7950X3D - different skins do not work at all, many ship gals do not show up on UI [new ui and old ui alike ] like Lion or Shimanto dual skin, or Chien Wu dual skin.
Also those gals cannot be switch over using round icon switch
Please fix it.
For now I am holding of buying any packs until it will be fixed.

I came here looking for the same issue, with the new skin breaking the game, but all I can read is "redownload the game" this "32-bit compatibility" that.
What I fail to understand is, how can every thing including the 3D rendered private quarter work flawlessly, but those new dual L2D skin freeze the game "almost" completely, the game is clearly still running, but it stop responding to any input.
it's like 4 AM in in china, probably can't do anything until work shift starts.

I had 64bit ldplayer and my game froze in the skin shop. I redownloaded the latest ldplayer, made a new instance, redownloaded the whole game, couldn't log in for while because apparently i had to use the old email and not the new "yostar binded" email, finally logged in... and after i clicked "Preview" game froze again. I'm done. Not gonna bother redownload this/that anymore. Tell devs to fix their own mess, otherwise spenders like me wouldn't be able to spend in their game. If they don't need my money - i'm fine with that.

game works with this emu rn, might get fixed tomorrow for other emus but idk
