I've tried minimum download twice: one is 4GB+gallery only, the other one is the 4GB only. Both got stuck in the loading screen.
Finally do a complete reinstall (8GB + all extra data) and that seems to do the trick.
I guess there is a bug in the implementation of the extra data separation.

I had the same error. There was an update in Google Play Store for the game. Once I downloaded that, the game redownloaded 1.4 GB of files and is working again.

you need to login at the title screen, not bind, as long as you login with twitter at title screen and select the server you play on
So I click the yostar icon on the left and type my email. It gives me a code which I type in. I then click server change and the only account is next to sandy at the top next to last login and is level 1 instead of 90.

you try binding at the title screen and not the correct location in game is how you bind incorrectly, that just creates a new account

I freshly reinstall my game for about three times but still see this infinite loading screen. My current workaround is to close and reopen the apps a couple of times.

Seems like reinstalling is the only way for now.
The good news is that seems like that with the new update, the bare minimum download only takes 5-6GB in total. Not 13GB anymore.

Alright, it will work in case if you have a possibility to login in game and go to settings. In my case i stucked on loading screen and i realized that i have all possibiliities to lose my account so started to wait for normal update. After i came here i realized that problem is normal and update is released, but need to reinstall a game. What a shame

TLDR missing skins on enemy fleets, the game won't download automatically. Either download that specific skins or all skins to prevent this problem.

you can try going to app settings and going to battery saving mode maybe. Unless you're already doing that

sometimes theres an issue where it lags when it grabs your data and it doesnt actually log you in
you can try clearing your data, restarting your phone, and refreshing your cache
try to login again after doing that, it might pick it up this time

Hello, I just updated the mandatory update but now stuck at this screen for quite a while. Any way to fix it?
I've been unable to login to the game on my phone (S21 Ultra running Android 13) since the required update, as it crashes while loading into the login screen, but after the screen which says "Loading game...". First, I tried using a VPN to see if that would fix it. Then, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but now I cannot download any assets, as it crashes after confirming the download. I was able to get a screenshot in log mode right before the game crashes while attempting to download assets (which is attached). Is there anything else I could do?

So I'm pretty sure this is minor, at least to some, but I feel it deserves mention, I've been having a problem where BB Shells, if fired as direct damage on enemy ships in any mode: Operation Siren, Campaign, Events, Etc. will sometimes not register as damage, at all, until the next volley happens

Rebooting phone basically clearing cache so the previous bugs (hopefully) doesn't exist more or less

As others have posted, I received an “this account banned” message about 12 hours ago. How can this be? Sent a message via email got an immediate response asking for more information. It also asked for my UID which I cannot access because my account is banned. As a paying customer this is pretty frustrating.

I doubt your phone dying was any issue. I was in the middle of play, then the game went to a “maintenance” message. Then when I attempted to log back in I got the “account banned” message. Seems maybe something happened on their end. Not sure why we can’t get any communication on it.

Hey guys I just downloaded the game again after a year and a half and when I log into my yostar account and select the server I played in It just puts me in the tutorial. I'm sure about the account since I checked my purchase history through gmail and I'm sure about the server too because one of my friends confirmed that my account is from that server since we played together. Does anyone know if I can fix it?

Hello everyone. I'm new in this community despite I already play for around 5 years into the game, and I need a helping hand for my problem.
So I got "unknown error -1" message on login page(the first page where there are 3 methods of login(FB,Twitter, and Yostar). I tried clearing the cache and data but it didn't work.
So I installed Azur lane on my back up phone(cheaper phone) because of muscle memory I immediately tap the game as usual and logging in to a new account and the tutorial appeared.
The problem start where I decided to close the game, open it up again, and in the login page.
I insert my FB email and Password, then there is a message that I already have an account on progress or something like that. Then it is asking am I gonna continue the game progress.
Of course I press continue, but it bring me to tutorial and a new account, I tried all the server but it is still the same.
I realize that maybe it is because I logging in to a new account before trying inserting my FB account.
To make it worse, I lost my Twitter account, and I have not yet to bind my account to Yostar
Is there any way I can recover my Azur lane Account? It is 5 years worth of grinding, so please I really need it back.

By the way, I remember my commander name, and server, but did not know my ID.
You need to login on the login screen, then select the proper server (since default is newest).

I got a new phone recently and I lost my progress 😩. I have the UID and username. I’m not sure if these are helpful at all. I was wondering if anything could be done about it? I remember before I changed phones that the account said binded to yostar under my gmail but I could not re-login to my account and it made me start from the beginning when I tried to use my Gmail. Does anyone know?

if you manage to enter the code from the email they sent, you got into your account, its probably the wrong server thing. Tap the 'no result' words on top to check which is your played servers

I am having login issues for a while now. I keeps loading for a while on the login screen. If I wait long enough sometimes I even get a log in successful message. However, when I try to enter the server I get a network error.
The problem is definitely not on my side as my internet is working fine on multiple devices.
Also, I've tried both on IOS and Android.

As long as you remember your email and use the steps to log into you bound account it should be there no problem, you just need to check which server you were on

If you tried repair assets, and worse, fresh reinstall, I think it is ISP problem, not hardware or software. Try to play using proxy .

I'm tremendously sure it is not a game freeze issues. The mini-browser-thing turned white without loading. Normally it would load and disappear as I sucessfully login into AL. I'll try to fetch a video when the update finished.

I've been trying to have AL on my SD Card instead of my phone's storage, but for some odd reason, the files download is directed to the internal storage instead of my SD Card. Is there a way to redirect the file location to said SD card?
Ah, I forgot to say the reason why is because my phone's storage is a few GB's away from being full and yet the data download is making that happen
Only via root install, which is risky due to many reason. Primarily wrecking your phone system due to the need for factory reset. Back when AL was still tiny, I played it out of a pre-rooted phone I bought from my ISP.

IMO, devs shouldn't make people change devices just because they made some updates into game... It ran well all these times before

It's exactly not the internet issue. Corrupted files, maybe. But it all to the downloader and constant updates on the first two days. The manner of kickin the player out of game with "your game is outdated" message is kinda outrageous. And after that, a long loading time... (((
I don't like to reinstall all the game anew, but looks like it's the only option. Unless some additional patch would be implemented. It means at least a full day wasted, because of authorisation difficulties.
Perhaps the devs could add "reinstall the current update" button into the game client?

F##k, I offloaded the game and now I can't reinstall it due to space issues.
Sadly you have to free enough space on your archive until you can reinstall the game
That's what I'm trying to figure out; the game takes up so much space barely anything else fits in it.
Update: I went for a full delete of the app then reinstalled it, by the time I resorted to and completed this, roughly an hour has passed.
Error message showed up around 3 or 4 times. Idk if the logs show anything useful for the cause of these constant errors
