I was looking at the memories for older events, such as Scherzo and Fallen Wings, and discovered many of the background images aren't listed with the dialogue anymore. It seems only the special artwork, such as Bismarck sinking, are visible.

I could have sworn we used to be able to see all the different backgrounds along with the dialogue. Such as the Winter Crown singularity, but I searched all over and couldn't find the plain backgrounds. Were they removed?

A workaround, but you can use the Darkreader add-on (https://darkreader.org/) as an alternative. It has a problem with the equation parser though, ie black font for equation with a dark background since the last Mediawiki massive upgrade. But outside of that, it works fine for me.

I wanted to do the event story today but I also want to finish the prelude first as it often gives additional (sometimes required) context for the event story, but I can't progress it because it asks for daily battles to complete, which I already did today... And since I couldn't do the prelude last week, I now have to catch up and am being cucked by those daily battles.
Since the event is 3 weeks long it's not a big deal if not possible, I'll just wait and do everything another day, but I had planned to do the event story today so that would be cool if that's feasible.

I can assure you nobody on the wiki thinks missing content for extended periods of time is normal.

The main issue for many of us is either a lack of time or lack of motivation or both. The number of unique active contributors is quite frankly at or near the lowest its been since the wiki was created.

Anyone who wants to join the wiki to specifically add missing content will be welcomed with open arms

As a suggestion, could the ordering of the ships be made more logical? either by faction, by rarity or by name (or a combination of all 3)
now its just all the ships bunched up together without any form of sorting whatsoever. makes it look very cluttered and unorganized. pretty difficult to find anything this way.

we switched to the new vector 2022 skin, that wikipedia has been using for over year already too, and disabled mobilefrontend because it reduces server load (halves the amount of pages that need to be generated by the server) so there is no mobile/desktop mode anymore just one for everyone

here is the logic for why we made this change

• we had mobile frontend and desktop frontend as 2 pages (one for each), effectively doubling the size of the wiki compared to actuality
• we are bombarded with bot attacks / ddos stuff, and depending on the attacker we would have to load both the mobile and the desktop views in the cache, which would overwhelm the cache since it would need to store 2 versions per page, which is inefficient.
• the modernized UI is responsive, so it works on desktop and mobile without needing a duplicate page, hence if we switched to it we could remove the mobile specific frontend entirely. it also supports dark mode way easier, so in the (near) future once we get the colors set-up properly you can use dark mode directly from the wiki website without needing external apps / stuff becoming hard to read

tldr the UI change halves the size of the wiki and has better dark mode support

This has been causing some confusion/missed things in my guild so thought I'd formally request or alert to the patch notes in wiki being over 1.5months behind currently, wanted to wait it out, and trust you guys would get around to it soon, but it's creeping to 2 months soon, so can't hurt to mention.

Home page "News" section has the proper information but clicking on patch notes on them leads to the notes page without said info.

Current example: clicking on Tempesta Event patch notes in the "News" section for Oct 23rd on homepage leads to Sept 12th jp Anni being last notes updated. This has been the case since that update each event since (Danmachi patch notes, rerun stuff etc)

Note: not related to event pages, ex: one created for current event.

Browsing the voice actor list wiki and I was wondering who handled this

First of, when adding voice actor names, it suddenly became first-name basis despite having the names areanged through last-name basis for the majority of its history (as per my examples here, since Yano Yumika and Yamads Misuzu should have been arranged as Yumika Yano and Misuzu Yamada)

Second, Yuu Sasahara already has a pre-existing section, so it's best to move Boise META there instead

Could someone change the description of this gun? It's quite vague, which misled me twice. At first, I thought that if I got a regular Dunkerque, I would receive this module with it. I wanted to put it on META. It turned out that I didn't get it. What's more, I also initially thought that the regular Dunkerque itself was not available in the game on a daily basis. This also caused me some problems, because as soon as it became available in one event, I grinded it like a moron just to not get it (a great way to waste a lot of fuel )... The game, of course, decided not to cooperate in such a simple matter, because why bother? 🙄 Never mind, it's in the past now.

However, one thing puzzles me 🧩: if this module is not available in Dunkerque, how can it be obtained? With what? Is anyone have it? After all, it was implemented in the game for a reason. Meanwhile, it seems to be the only one that cannot be obtained in any way.

The second issue is the gun. Can anyone who owns it, confirm that it cannot be mounted on either a destroyer or a light cruiser? Which ships were added to the game when it was introduced? Because it has always been the case that each module fits into some historical configuration. Even if it was a prototype or purely conceptual. I wonder which ship this particular one is "assigned" to .

I'm asking about all this, mainly because of this bizarre (idiotic?) classification. I mean... is this a weapon for destroyers that can't be mounted on them? Not even on cruisers? Only as an secondary battery for battleships? Hmmm... another mysterious case .

Yeah, they are rare missions that, if you are super lucky, will reward you with about 25 gems. The wiki just needs to be updated to match the fact that the EN server calls them gems.
