The research face improvements have made getting dr prints a lot better
gotta reverse jinx it into becoming a reality
Since u get 3 for purples when previously it was like 1 or maybe 2 + other random ones

adding more refreshes per day in research would be a good alternative
even with improvements i can still say PR Research state overall is dogshit since its almost impossible to catch up if you are behind a season, also having to rely on RNG to get all of your ships to dev 30 until the next season comes.

Now that we have the high world rewards, 10h commission should be buffed with either lower cost or higher coin rewards
Justification: it costs exactly 382 oil to run 13-4 and rewards me with around 2.8k coins + whatever I get from retiring ships. It also takes me 10 to 30 min to do it, depending on how lazy and multi-tasky I'm feeling. The other rewards from the 10h are worthless unless you roll the cubes one, and you can't reroll those commissions ever unless you actually run them.
Right now the 10h commission is terrible value, you're better off using that oil to farm 13-4 for coins
Keep in mind soon we will have world 14 which will reward even more coins at an even better oil cost compared to the 10h commission...
10h has value in XP (especially if you don't have max slots in dorm) but yeah, the bonus rewards at the very least should be buffed. Drills? A single box? PURPLE Retrofit BPs?
110 and 130 are pretty absurd since it's currently 50. 80-90 would be plenty enough.

Maybe, now they added exp packs and farming harder stages keeps that thing filled, it may or may not also encroach on the exp part of the 10h commi (I've never used it for that tho, only use it's had for me is extra cubes and gold during events so I can't say much on that front)

What was their max requirement anyway? I think its just an arbitrary level anyway, seeing as that level 50 requirement comm was a good until recently. Could just have several upgrades on the way instead

I used to be against 2 researches at once since 'how to afford that?' but since we can now easily afford that, yeah, doesn't sound too bad. The D "buff" of PR4 was a farce, marginal improvement if you care for ONLY one ship of the bunch, nerf for for everyone else that grinds them all out.
A new player would have much more use for auto picking up ? And ammo, which they still didn't do :/

For my DR progress at least. Instead of getting 1-2 DR prints for a 30 min or 8 hr, there is 3 or 4 now

Took me like 10 months to get my pr2 DRs to dev 20, now only 3 months for my pr4 ones
Took me at least a month just to finish dev 30 for FdG after the catch up
At this point just wish they would throw this system away and put a good one, the current needs a miracle to be decent
Also for the 2 slots, in that case I would go with the other guy by making it more expensive to unlock but then make it easier on the bps

Is it possible for the recommendation function for commissions recommend ships that are not maxed out on xp? I have a few not lb ships i want to keep at lvl70 but they keep getting recommended for commissions because my other ships just passed lvl70. It's a bit of a waste and kinda inconvenient imo.
this isn't to take away from your suggestion since I also notice that sometimes too but a temporary fix is to put those ships into hard mode of lower worlds so they don't get picked for commissions ^^ At least until some fix for the issue comes around.

seriously though, I like the idea that was thrown around here of adding another level to those commissions, not just one big level but a bunch of new steps such as 75, 90, 110 and 130 as someone suggested before, and then update it so it isn't too far off from how much you can earn from farming chapters you're expected to be able to tackle at those levels
but it isn't a scam when you're new to the game. I do agree adding more levels to it to "buff" it is definitely a good idea
it's just that because we're all at different stages at the game, you're going to have different views about stuff naturally right?
for a new player these oil cap changes don't mean much because they can't clear that content yet so they don't get those benefits
therefore the 10 hr commission is pretty much on the same power level as before the change
once they get the stage where they can clear it, then their progression can start to ramp up a bit right?
until that point they will probably still rely on the old school method of coins with 10 hr commissions, dailies and waiting for the coin merchant still
it's also a pretty good source of xp for ships considering it gives more xp than dorm until around cmdr lvl 50 and a decently invested dorm

i can do like 6 runs of 13-4 on auto and quit the game pretty much

yep and there's nothing wrong with that. It was more in response to earlier when people were saying there is basically no value in doing them anymore when there still is. Obviously not as good as pre oil cap clearing rewards but it's still there for those certain types of players. So buffing them just helps everyone which is a good thing. I don't think we necessarily disagreed on the suggestion but we went in circles for some reason so sry for doing that ig.

I think I’ve touched on it before, but does the game really need to notify me about “shipyard development” that don’t matter? Don’t tell me a new layer has been unlocked, I’ll check it later when I’m monitoring the XP. Unless I’ve reached that “X Researches” goal or it’s asking me to submit some blueprints, there’s no real need to alert me about it.
And as has been mentioned by others, don’t leave the ❗ there after we’ve looked. This is, of course, a problem mobile games in general have with notifications and alerts, but it’d be nice to see Azur Lane be better by acknowledging out complaints and improving it.

i have an idea regard of pr1 . since they rebalanced exp needed for ships to lv up, they can do same with pr1. basically add fate 10 with decent buffs but it cost 20% more prints compare to fate 5. i mean after implanting this fate 5 jump to fate 9 and need alittle more grind to get to fate 10. just like how it was like this with ships lv.
or if i want to say this in another way, fate 0 to fate 5 needed 150 prints now fate zero to fate 10 needs 190 prints or 180 prints
they can just handle it like dorm slots or skill classes. You want more than one research? Buy an additional slot for blueprint research for, let's say 1000 gems. Problem solved. Manjuu get's money, and players who really want to accelerate this (let's be frank, terrible) system, can do just that. Sounds like a very fair trade. Hell, we still have to PAY for the researches with resources. So it's not like we dev 30 Aegir in a day.

the game has to make money somehow. Yes Manjuu does it with skins mostly, but they also lock slots behind purchases / gems. Adding more research slots in exchange for gems wouldn't be too far out there.
Of course a free solution would be much more appreciated, but I could understand them making such a thing a paid feature. wouldn't even be mad, given how generous the game is in other aspects
if i just want to say what i really want is buff skills in pr 1 fate 5 just like how they buffed maintz. a good decent buff. and also increase luck to 60 after fate 5 . but that wont be happening

Can we get some QoL changes to existing systems, that people have been asking for? ie: upgrade to t4 and upgrade all items that have different levels (gear parts), be able to downgrade materials, look at Seven deadly Sins grand cross for an example on it, it works and is balanced, instead of features like comics,and images? The comics are on the twitter already. You dont need them in game as well. Images are not updated enough to be warranted a reasonable feature.

at least it auto refreshes after but I don't think we should need to do it manually, maybe leave tokens to redeem there but mission just goes on independently

the first one gives u a personal reward, the subsequent clears don't. Maybe make the popup different for the first clear? That way you know to go claim it since rn it just tells u that it's repeating the mission
There should be a "Search" feature for ships in the docks as well. There are times that I wasted my time looking for one specific ship even though I know the name. I know there is the filter feature but even that would take a bit of time to scroll your docks just to find that one ship.
I feel like the filters are pretty good already at helping me find a ship.

it could just give you the reward directly too, without needing any further interaction (can be shown like that popup you get when you cmplete a battle pass mission)
yes that would be nice but it's also probably something to do with larger guilds and the weekly missions. As when they are completed, the people that did not complete it once do not get the few hundred guild coin reward for first completion unless they make a system where they reserve 1 mission for everyone

I used to be against affinity gain in OPS, but nowadays I think it would be fine if the affinity gain would be like 50% less than in story/event maps. Or a third even. Just some gain would be nice.

hmm. dont see it in https://feedback.azurlane.moe/. But battlepass is very short... I am at 97 and it is possible to be at stage 99 with 40 points left to 100. perhaps add more stages or do a stage 100+ reward of like 1000 coins per stage or something. for a battlepass for 2 months, it can be finished at exactly 21 days.

You do realise the paid pass give +15 levels. So you're really at stage 82 from just the eventpoints alone.
Adding to that, even though I've been playing the game heavily I'm only level 76. I still have various SP missions, haven't done any of the Week 4 missions yet, and am not going to blindly build a large number of ships just for the Quick Finisher mission. So we all play it a little differently.
I think people seem to forget that these missions aren't exactly being aimed at us who play the game constantly. Much like people complaining that the "weekly missions can be done in a day", I'd wager the average player does not complete them in 24 hours or less.

Only at stage 64 without paid pass (didnt buy it on purpose to keep the grind longer) and been grinding most of the time since the coin change, doing the rest like normal daily routine

You must understand that battlepass rewards must end at some point, even if you can get max level and still have plenty of missions left
as far as i understood it buying the extra battlepass was to "be lazier"
since it included the 15 free levels
not to mention most rewards post 80 are literally trash
I largely bought it for Yorktown, to be honest. It was a refreshingly wholesome outfit in a sea of needlessly oversexualized stuff. It's the sort of content I want more of, outfits that people would realistically wear. I know I'm in the vocal minority whenever I bring that kind of topic up, but it's the truth.

Thing about the Cruise Missions is you get 11820 points from just the missions. So there’s 18% extra leftover . Now add the 1500 from battle pass and you’re at 13,320. You only need 10k to finish them all. Realistically it should have more rewards beyond 100 up to like, 115? Even if those are truly filler rewards it gives an incentive to actually finish every task.
I feel that this is essentially wiggle room for people so they don't have to do absolutely every single mission. The same way we have more weekly missions than we actually use, because people play the game differently.

also the BP is essentially giving away free stuff for playing the game normally if u dont pay for the paid version

ALL plates? I think you mean aux plates! I still think we use aux plates for way too many things. Plane plates? For planes only. aa plates? for aa only. aux plates? uuh yeah, washing machine here, white shell there, steam catapults, etc.

It's a shame, probably, but I have tons of merrit and boxes. And I don't know what to do with them. The only gear I wanted from boxes was quad mag torps, but now we can craft it for decent price, so the boxes are completely useless in my present account level.
Since Nürnberg's skill only gives 10% more exp compared to the 15% of the others (and 18% of Amazon) could she also give 5% exp for sub cats?
Like the subs they're more annoying to level up, Ik we have the cat dorm passive exp but its more of a help than main source specially at higher levels

When Microlayer Medley reran not long ago, I hadn't had the frame cause I was missing Alabama and had only limit broken several of the ships. But they were already counted when the event started, so I'm pretty certain you shouldn't need to worry about it.

Also the moving the textbox was suggested when Veneto came out but they decided with just hiding it so good luck with that

as others have said, it's always been like that. During a rerun event with a frame, you get points towards the frame immediately as long as you have that ship MLB in your dock. You also get 2k coins if you already own the frame from the original run.
Oh wow, complaining about assists? Just don't ask for assists then... I'll happilly take it over waiting 4 hours since people cannot be arsed to do one battle themselves so more assists overall are needed, much worse than the people you complain about.
Moving the text is better than having to move your entire secretary off-center just to deal with that pesky box. Once I collect 100 coordinates I send request and go back to collecting the other 100 and finishing daily quests in opsi, and only after all of it is done I do my bosses+3 assists. No one comes to help, cool whatever I can do it. Raid is done because so many people helped, even cooler 😎

a solution could just be that u have different gear equips for different modes 👀 tho that might be too powerful if u could do that for all modes since getting gear is still one of the main gates between being able to do hard and easy content so having it for META battles only could be good

yes having to manually swap equips for different things is what puts ppl off from taking their runs seriously
if there was just one button to tap and equips preloaded sets onto the ship and auto takes it from other ships if equipped would make it much easier to swap between gear sets
well there's a reason why people buy like 9-12 sets of shells vs only buying 3 sets and swapping between every battle
devs probably dont want u doing the latter but making it easier to swap is defo more QoL
so limiting it to META battles where everyone wins if u do more supports is ideal i think
or making it so that u can have the support battles auto done for u with ur avg dmg of your 10 highest runs for some cost (idk, maybe like 3k opsi coins per support?) but u only earn the minimum amount of pts

different gear sets for each mode is a good suggestion and is aligned with the recent direction of AL development of removing bullshit, unnecessary and menial tasks, but you know full well that will do nothing about the two cases presented previously

what I do when I reach 100 coords is start the boss, call for help and fight it once. then I go farm out the other 100, if assists have finished it off I start the second one, otherwise I call for help again if it's been 30m, or just do other stuff
the other most likely didn't even bother hitting the auto button
and when I call assists I do my own assists, if I already fought my own
well if u force them to use full fleets and full equips theyre not gonna bother assisting at all 
obviously if all the support battles u do, u get equally compensated would be nice but there's too many variables to make that happen

i just find it really dumb how u have to be online to be able to see friends/guildies support requests and not log off for them to still show up

There are a ton of people who just go on assist, and a lot of players do less than <33% damage meaning the avarage lvl 15 META does take up more than 3 assists per 1 fight. Now I made a couple suggestions to try and improve that, but they seem massively disliked so
All I know is asking support 5x in a row and getting nothing isn't too uncommon, and I don't think making it harder to HELP is the actual sollution here.

this discussion is useless, you will never be able to force the lazy and the griefer to actually be useful, the direction this feedback should be taking is in actually supporting players who want to help to actually help, like unlimited guild/friend interaction or fixing the thing that was reported about guild/friend requests not appearing unless you are online when they were sent
also I only proposed the mode specific gear loadouts as a potential solution to alleviate the issue as it only helps the people who don't do META fights because they can't be bothered to change the gear

Rework 10 h commission. They are really useless now because for 1200 oil you can get 10K gold and tones of experience while 10 h commission gives you only 4.5K gold in best case.
I think increase amount of gold earned to 10-15K would be enough to make 10h commissions useful. But you can go on another way.
10 h commission is the only commission that gives you garanted cubes, so my suggestion is to let the amount of gold like it's now (or increase it to 6-7K). But for this make every 10 h commission with cube drop. Or make only 2 types, with cubes and with T2 cognitive chips. In that case even less gold will make this commission very useful, because you will gain garanted cubes, which is cool or garanted T2 cognitive chips, which is even better.

that was discussed extensively in this channel uhh.... a few days ago, people came up with the idea of adding more levels to the 10h commissions (naturally with added rewards), that solution seemed to be well liked among the participants
right now the 10h commi tops at level 50 it seems
But there is another trouble. The drop of commissions from map was cutted away. Earlier you could make 5 runs to 12-4 and you got 1-2 commissions for cubes. Now after spending 15K oil for 12-4 you get nothing, so incoming of cubes is lower. Therefore it would make sense if 10 h commissions would drop only cubes without another useless stuff

that's what they do, you farm, you get a bunch of urgents from battles, then you hit overfarm limit and they only start dropping again after some time has passed (don't remember where I saw that explained, I think it was a video)

Is it possible to upgrade the weapons & auxiliary enhance system? Instead of clicking repeteadly "Enhance", you do it just one time then appears a windows with the confirmation button or cancell button and the resources you will spend after that. It's annoying otherwise.

Why only New Orlean as unique drop from w14? You could add any new blue or purple ship to make more interests of farming 14-1, 14-1, 14-3. There's even no good equipment. Adding any OS Lab or PR equipment would make sense to farm w14. Because now it seems to be like you kill it as fast as possible and go get New Orlean. After it gives nothing to you

I can't speak for others, but I don't even like doing chapter 13 so once you get the ships you never return if you can help it. Perhaps the devs are aware of this and have only put one real reason to do 14 for those that want the ship but otherwise it's just a really tough place for those that want that kind of challenge.

Yeah, 13 used to be hard, but then we got OP ships, and the difficulty was no clearing mode. Then they added that and the one thing holding you back was oil cost and now that too is not an issue, and w13 is easy farmmaterial now.

I watched a video about clearing world 14, and in this video is possible to use 2 same ships but in different fleets. This haven't sense because is impossible to carry 2 ships in the same fleet, but in differents is possible to use at the same time? Personally in my point of view this is a fatal error of Game design and it shouldn't be allowed
it has always been like this for campaign mode
u cant use 2 of the same ship anyway outside of campaign and it takes a lot of resources to do for little benefit for this 1 unique situation
calling it "fatal error" is a bit of too much
all you do is get a payoff for your own will to do absurd investment twice in to the same ship which you cant even make use of for much outside of that
and its not breaking anything in the game to the point of being fatal

I think Reconnaissance fleets in 14-3 and onwards need to be toned down a bit.
There's way too much stuff spawning and if you're out of ammo, it's basically not doable without losing a huge chunk of HP of our ships. Either tone down the spawn of submarines or the spawn of ramming ships, or both.
14 1 and 2 were easy, I thought "not that bad". but yes, it does pick up substantially. Maybe I just stop for now. I did 3 star 1 and 2, but 3 onwards is a bit ridiculous

Yeah 14-3 is a big jump in difficulty which was nice, but the Reco fleets are in my opinion a bit too much right now. At least for Main fleets, yes there are a lot of command ships and yes they're really powerful, but you can play around them at least.
In reco fleets, you can't play around anything because there's everything. Subs, ramming ships, torpedo galore, command ships, an insane number of enemies, and the spawn rate is just too much.

well W14 looks like something pretty end game now since a lot of people complained in the past about there being no real end game in AL
lvl 125s would make clearing W14 easier due to the level dif mechanic but it isn't impossible with only 120s
considering the final boss is only lvl 128
which is basically the same as the META boss fights
also the devs have already stated that cog arrays are meant to be rare and hard to obtain since u can see what happened with cog chips and everyone getting so many
maybe it's their way of rewarding players that stick around?

with the new ways of getting xp via lecture hall and incentivising campaign map grinding, lots more ships will be leveled up fast so there may even be a cog chip shortage in the future

Not necessarily, it doesn't have to be a one-time bonus. Each time you get a ship to 120, you get a number of arrays, like you get fleet tech stats for example.
That way even new players can benefit from it

In 12 and 13, there was a gimmick to play around, planes.
Here, there's just so much stuff that you can't play around anything, and have to tank it head-on, so you need levels to do so.
It's not bad at all, I love it usually. Just here, I have pain when I consider I should not because I did my fair share of grind already. And especially when the reason for it is just a stupid arbitrary gate of content.

Conversion seems like a lazy solution to a poorly thought design. But at this point I'd take anything seeing at how bad it is.
just because all of us have piles of those useless chips doesnt mean they have no value and can be throw away at any ratio
the "fair" conversion in this game works for the same amount of output you need to get from lesser items cost multiplied by about 1.5
meaning for 150 arrays you will pay about 700-800 chips
yeah i also don't personally think conversion is the right way to go about it but if it was, a 10:1 or higher one would be about right maths wise

Once you finish developing a PR ship you can use the duplicates to earn more by pressing the "Blueprint Analysis" button

14-3 difficult spike is pretty insane yeah, even with meta fleets you will need to time everything one miss can make a suicide boat hit or a command ship nuking your mob fleet with one salvo
people says subs are the thing that makes it difficult but i felt like command ships are more of a pain in the ass since you need to kill them fast and they are tanky as hell
The fact that hedgehog can just straight up miss, then be on like a 3 second cooldown effectively stops your chances at being able to kill them when they move up as duo's over and over again
and its not uncommon either that it does miss
due to the fact that even submarines get that new dumb buff
That is also the sense of the w14. You need to have top equipment and maybe top ships
If you see patterns of enemies, you can launch airstrike and destroy shells.
i mean they spawn 3 waves of 4 BB's in a row basically
1 airstrike doesnt kill them, does like 30% hp? and they fire like every 5-10 seconds
I personally used 2 CVs. That was enough to destroy all shells
in fact i just timed it, it was 3 seconds between each salvo they launch
Yeah you can play around command ships with airstrikes. The issue is with subs and ramming ships. They spawn way too frequently, you can't really keep up.

And then complaining the devs "fail at balance" when they did exactly what they went out to do. We got a YEAR or more or so to crack this. But everyone needs insta-125, +13 NOW to beat it in week 1

I agree and disagree. The w14 should be like ass fuck because it's high end content. But I personally think there should be more mechanics you need to take rare/elite ships with skills. Like Hamman with Flagship DMG reduction. Akashi with extra ammo. Köln with searching of SSs. Glowworm with increased ramming DMG

Of course all of that examples can be used in w14 because mechanics are there. But you don't want to level them because you can put FDG + NJ and half of issues is away
w14 should be hard by giving you a mechanic you need to play around and understand how it works

im using Cooper for subs, the DD buff was great overall apart from some exceptions and they do feel like they could do something now.

If you play manually, every new mechanic has counter. You just need to find out what exactly

For example BBs that destroy your Main within 10 sec can be easy counter by CVs

Oooops forgot to pick up the flares with my boss fleet. And since we can't retreat on the map like in virtually any other game mode in the game and that flares aren't shared across fleets, I just wasted 500 oil and need to restart the stage.

I'm pretty sure they don't go auto when the BB firing animation is going on, every time it happens I'm holding up and when I catch a glimpse of my ships they are slowing moving up, I'm holding down and they are slowly moving down, holding backwards and they are slowly retreating;
it's just that you can't really see them for a bit, so you actually have to predict a little bit what you want to have them doing in the fraction of a second that gets the slow down

Personally, I’d love it if a ship hits 100 or another level cap, but was in the dorm when it happens, just give them the exp. If you’re in battle it gives it, so it’s frustrating to realize too late your girl wasted several hours of dorm time.
They have to add the notification about the ship in dorm was capped or close to that.

I have been saying that the recent increase in xp income from lecture hall, level rebalance and the incentive to grind campaign 3:3 has meant we're going to need more cog chips and it may make them more valuable
I had 90k before the rebalance, now only 70k and I'm doing what you say Hassat minus the gems
we're going to get a lot more ships to 120 faster now so even though we may have a lot of cog chips now, that's because we've stockpiled for a long time
core shop sells pathetic amount of cog chips considering its monthly refresh
un-retire a ship, like once a month
old account wont have much problem with cogs, it's more new server/player problem
And we got the same with arrays, it'll sort itself... with time.
array only requires for 125, you're walled at 100 with no cog 
u get enough arrays to 125 2 ships/month and chips for just under 3 a month
idk why people keep saying arrays when it has nothing to do with it, the problem is with the new exp adjustment + exp pack you'll hav ships to awaken(100+) more than cog you'd get, you'll be eventually walled with lvl 100 ships which can't be awaken

because we've basically had 2 years to stockpile chips, some people don't feel it yet
and the current pace of array is fine, it's supposed to be slow, every tech bonus still at 120 anyway.
though I don't doubt anyone wouldn't mind having a little more array income
they give us free exp to level ships and drastically increase coin income to afford awakening but do jack shit to increase cog chip income 
sell em in batches of 500 in merit shop or smth pls
120-125 requires cogs too so they effectively made another item just to get more complains

I think the cog chip income is fine, it's just people haven't really realised how valuable they are going to be now that the amount of xp income for everyone has increased since the QoL update changes
Oh, I realised, but I also see they severly increased cog income already. 500 for EX, 800 for META, the extra chips for every 9+ run, drill comms, the lvl 100 daily. So in the end they're just as plentiful as before.
And that’s enough to awaken how many ships? 
Compare that to how easily it is to gain exp

arrays feel fine cos its just one level (for now
) cog chips have 4 levels so the intake is far higher
both are kinda low incomes
