My issue is that they failed to communicate the fact that you can only do two operations per month (or its a bug)
So its "participations" not "partisipants"? Still silly.
It explains everything. I went through an easy operation in the old guild, then changed the guild and helped them finish off the boss in their first operation, and then I could not join their second operation, because for me it was already the third operation.
"Eligible Participants" does not mean "Number of remaining operations"
And the info tab does not mention the limit anywhere
it most likely actually is participants, it should tally the people who still have yet to complete their operations 
the main conflict is the imposed limit on operations though and it not being mentioned anywhere readily apparent I believe

Please consider adding a feature that lets us check guild support gear, it's annoying that people slap big name shipgirls and then you find out they are unequipped. 
Not sure if this was suggested already but could we have an un-equip all button? With 5 total fleets including submarines in OP siren switching from that mode to normal maps and PvP takes such a long time. Going through every ship taking gear off is very tedious. (Looking back this was last asked for in June of 2019 but bringing it back up for the current state of the game it makes more sense)
Funny how you ask for QoL feature when devs still haven't fixed the BB targeting reticle, which is impossible to aim with because it's white so it blends with all the explosions on the screen WHICH ARE ALSO WHITE.
Oh, and the skins completely covering the screen so you can't see a thing when backliners attack.

One thing I like about Azur Lane is that you can't spend money to speed things up, it keeps it balanced for all players. An item is good but a premium one would be bad

I think by "speed up" he's not referring to the overall accumulation of blueprints but rather the duration of the research missions

It would be nice if the operation sirens missions could be picked up at any port instead of being randomly placed at 2 different ports everyday. Also please increase the amount of missions you could accept to 6 instead of 5. The current limit serves no other purpose other than wasting your time by forcing you to go back to the port after clearing up a mission, who thought this was a good idea? 
Is there a possibilty of changing the way how Peter Strassers time control ability works? Her one ability which is the center of her entire design and reflection of her personality is useless at worst and a unique gimmick at best.
It disappoints me that one of the few SR ships that Iron Blood gets isn't useful at all.
I'm not asking her to be OP and nuke everything on screen but to let her have a niche of controlling time but in a way that is different to Formidable.
The idea of having her constantly slow her enemies by 8% is a good idea which could work well with let's say Odin and Bismarck because 1) Volleys are of course easier to hit and 2) their secondaries would become much more consistent. However the low amount of 8% is too little to have an impact.
Even against DD enemies who have high speed where even a small percentage of lost speed should be noticeable the difference between normal and slowed is minimal.
Therefore I would like to present the idea of making the slow stronger to maybe 20% or 25%
This could give Peter Strasser an interesting niche in helping ships do more consistent damage but not quite enabling a Shinano to always be able to hit her ryuusei torps as if the enemy speed was zero.
This should also make up for how unreliable the full stop is.

With the new KMS Shipgirls, up Iron Blood's Faction Technology level at least to 5, yeah they do not have many ships like the other factions, but it's kinda sad while the other factions to have 9lvl, IB to be at 4
KMS also needs way more xp to the next level than the other factions
they could be up to 7 if all factions had equal progress, IIRC
KMS ships also give 2x tech (like many other minor factions). I suppose it could use a bigger overhaul, adding more minor factions.
I can ask a question why the ships of iron blood are weaker than the royal navy an example: Bismarck is weaker than hood, hipper weaker than prinz eugen if they are hermas they have to have the same characteristics is what I understand knowing that the best ships of that time for technology and weapons were those of iron blood for wed deserve an upgrade or a retrofit

Putting aside whether bisko is weaker than hood or that both hipper and eugen are ironblood (they're sister ships), how advanced or good they were in real life seldom if ever have an impact on how they are in game

It is that the only improvement that was made and thank God was Graff Zeppelin but the other ships have almost nothing improved, firepower or torpedoes, I only ask that they make an improvement on the ship that there was only Graff Zeppelin that had an improvement. it means they can't do it with the other Ironblood ships do something an upgrade or a retrofit just that.

Sure alot of IB ships needs improvements, but you need to specify more on what problems the faction is facing instead of just complaining, for example look at Scharnhorst, she survived 2 operations mostly badly damaged and also sunk Glorious, Ardent and Acasta in 1939, but her skill is literally a copy and paste of pre warkai skill "Divine Marskman" and that totally kills her uniqueness in the game.
Also wanted to say that the pause screen during a fight shouldnt make the whole screen as a big continue button
Right now having the continue button on the menu is irrelevant and this is rather annoying
hipper who is the twin of prinz eugen of the Admiral class does not have the same power and life as prinz nor life of rank S because in real life they were twins they had the same but other things did not have the same I just want Admiral hipper to have the same things that prinz his life and his power is only that.
Give it time as the dev team needs to discuss on these stuff or the amount of people agreeing to it

Do you think, having VH armor plating, and few other old events equipment being available for core data or event being able to be researchable in the gear lab would be interesting ? PS, like the TBM avenger VT 18, and so the VH armor ?
Now that we have the high efficiency item thing that gives us 2x rewards per map, we have yet another way to have more ships than dock slots. It was already possible before, but was a bit more obscure to do...
Can we keep this momentum and finally remove per-battle check of dock slots? Keep it to map start only, that gives us the opportunity to enhance ships we would be using in the map.
Checking slots per battle serves no purpose other than annoy the player
Operation Siren has been fun as heck but the interface and tutorials needs a lot of polishing. Map movement and rewards collection are seriously un-intuitive
Imagine my surprise to find out fully retrofitting my lvl99 Yamashiro, actually seems to be a downgrade... 😄
now that im used to faster movement speed in op siren i cant seem to stand the slower speeds that we have on normal maps, can we get faster movement speed there too ?

Rarity doesn't always determines how good a ship is, eg Mikasa is SR but she ain't better than all the Elites ones. And not all ships get their rarity based on how well they performed irl, eg Shinano

i think we should be able to have some sort of EXP storage,so lvl capped ships can transfer that EXP to storage,and then to someone with % loss otherwise it just goes to waste

the ship herself doesnt get exp anymore bcs 3 mil is the cap and that exp is wasted even if it counts towards PR and lecture hall
The 3 mil cap is the storage, that cap applies at all of the awakening thresholds 100+ and is consumed when you awaken the ship to the next 5 levels. Now the storage is full.
Anyway it's only relevant if they have plans for awakening beyond 120

Can we get clarification about how reset of op siren will work btw? The EN localization mentions that exploration and progress rewards will be reset every other cycle, while CN/JP only mentions that itll be reset after a certain (unstated) time period. Also, I'm not sure if the phrase "exploration and progress rewards will be reset" implies that the stars we earn for a map will be reset, or if just the rewards we got are reset (in which we could just collect everything we earned previously again without re-grinding)
As far as I know theres been no official statement/clarification on how this will work yet.

I got like 12 Peter Strasser during this event, but no Heinrich. I hate to say it considering how generous the game usually is for rolls. but after a hundred rolls in an event you should at least be able to select a ship that'll start having a higher chance of dropping with following rolls.

@grave spindle I think they should do better just make it have pity exchange like other games so even if you fail to get certain characters after 100 pulls you can just exchange some kind of currency for the ones your missing. That or not make everything limited time only so we feel pressured to obtain characters now or wait a year+ for reruns.
Eh, I don't know about that. I mean, eventually they'll probably do a rerun then release it has one of those event things you can unlock temporarily every week or something. I am just saying like their 'Wishing Well' event where you can select certain ships to have an increased chance of dropping, only in this scenario it would activate after a certain amount of rolls, an maybe let you select a more priority chance. Not a guarantee mind you, just a increased %. The game is already pretty fair, but it is frustrating, especially for events like the 'Neptune' one awhile back where the odds of getting the said ship becomes nonexistent.
either would be acceptable to me but I know sometimes people just get tired of chasing rng and want guarantees after spending so much time or money. It may help them deal with potential errors in the gacha also since even if they somehow forgot to add a character in again you could just pity summon for it

uhh,so,after going through the event again and reading some of the suggestions i had an idea in mind that will somewhat add something new but i am not sure if i should make a detailed post on trello with example screenshots some example vids with editor or just leave it here as a dumb idea
what i was thinking is - more areal indirect mechanics that have their input in combat
1)more objectives like a fortress thing in this german event but with a variation for artillery ,and so it wont just be useless 50 dmg barrage in combat
like maybe CV objective will have its influence the areal parity thing,along with combat air raid while a artillery(bb basically) will have a barrage that actually deal dmg instead
so this will make a point in having an order of killing mobs and will provide a nice thing over map control
2)azur lane has a bigg-ass island base right?why not put a CV base or an artillery there and (as it was suggested before but just as OS feature for ports only,but put it as a global mehcanic) use it as a combat support?with the same ammo mechanic as subbs,but it will be more focused on actual equipment that you put in instead of relying on the ships,maybe even use equip as EXP fodder for enchance and level up the thing
and depending on the type+equipment you use it will be either a heavy cv/bb one time burst or like a constant buff to already deployed ships like a kashino type ships where intended to be
what i had in mind is a late-game mechanic that will be ACTUALLY LATE GAME(not like PRs ),not rely on ships so it wont get power crippled,and will worth the time investment while providing a use for that thousands of equipment that just lays around in storage as boxes to be used in it either in slots,or just as a fodder
as well as tons of +10 equips that are laying around waiting for leveled ships to be used on
3)i think we could have some sort of true mob fleets just going around,the anime showed us that azur lane truly has the mass-produced ship versions as well as the OP sirens has them in some quests and as a capture point in strongholds,so why not make use of it in the game?
like the mobs will be either an objective produced thing,or like you call on the map as an areal support,will go around the map camicaze enemy ships lowering their max health(like the hunter mode for subbs)or being a pew pew meat wall in combat if you happen to be with them in the same combat

Would it make sense to drop a suggestion on changing the ship class of Akagi, Kaga Ryuuhou, Chitose, Chiyoda and Shouhou ? These are currently atleast to some degree listed under the wrong ship class currently.
Akagi being a Amagi-class Retrofit, and not a Akagi-class ship,
Kaga being a Tosa-class Retrofit, and not a Kaga-class ship,
Ryuuhou being of the Ryuuhou-class of ships and not the Zuihou-class of ships,
Chitose and Chiyoda being of the Chitose-class of ships and not of the Zuihou-class of ships,
Shouhou being of the Zuihou-class of ships and not of the Shouhou-class of ships.
EN follows the western representation of ship class

Not sure about Akagi's case, but checking the wiki showed that her class and type is "none", probably why they went with her own unique class

looks like you're right about the chitose chiyoda. this is one occurrence of them following the jp classification instead, since chitose chiyoda is zuihou-class in japan.

My dislike for the [Ramming] mechanic in its current state can not be measured. The rest of the game I rather enjoy. 🙂 Sure some minor issues like why were aviation battleship retrofits added when they feel more like debuffs aside from Hyuuga's due to her skills saving her somewhat. While the makeshift band-aid from the developers was to add some additional sea planes to try lessening the downgrade, instead of addressing the ships skills or lack thereof which suffer the most. Or just allow secondary guns to still be equip but change seaplanes into a triggered skill that each aviation battleship acquires upon converting into one from a battleship. Again small issues I see here and there. But [Ramming]... pure hatred.
I guess there wasn'ta anything that could be done about Hornet's pizza skin?

HMS got like HALF of top tier items in the update
the wyvern,torp mount,the red sub torp,sea hornet
while as of USS its tigercat and the helldiver.mk2 and the skypirate but its outscaled by wyvern
meanwhile KMS and IJN is just that old rainbow torp that now can be mass-crafted somewhat and other old stuff

Equipment is sorted into nations for easier navigation.
There's no "goal" nor point in every nation getting certain amount of equipment with every update or in general.
There's only like 3 cases when nation's equipment matters and one of them is Graf Zep who actually got a new BiS plane with this update.
i am more interested in to the faction-related mechanics that are implemented in to equipment and history behind it then the fact that equip is related to a faction
and there ARE some interesting stuff that could be done
aka the best examples that where in the game are the covering torp bombers that no faction had before besides IJN
the Hoaming torps for HMS
and the switching mechanic for douglas TBD from USS
more of these faction effects wouldnt hurt

when she can heal back in 15 seconds what it takes a full fleet of 120s to deal over the entire battle, shit's fucking broken - and she can do that as many times as she likes

it is hard, because OS is supposed to be hard content. That's the only hard boss, and they shouldn't change her
+50% vanguard damage with +50% firepower is equally brutal on the player.
I think the issue here is that, among siren boss buffs, there are a select few that end up being terminally difficult compared to others.
So your difficulty is entirely based on an RNG roll where, imo, boss difficulty should be roughly equal. (not easier, but equal).
that isn't a problem, you can go to port unlimited times and heal. So, even if you get nuked you can do it over and over again
i think our main 3 stats in OS should interract with sirens passives to maybe turn off one of them,or nerf them,bcs as of now,AGAIN,we have no use for those stats after they go over the top as well as some combinations are just unfair,straight up
The other issue that could happen is, due to a combination of buffs, the healing consistently outpaces the maximum damage done, completely halting any progress on that boss.
25% healed every time they go below 30% can absolutely stop some players from killing a boss they otherwise would have no issue killing.
Game being unwinnable again due to RNG.
There's always the argument of "If you use the meta then the (problem) isn't a problem."
Building a game to require a specific loadout, fleet composition, or strategy to be the only way of success is poor game design.
Even moreso in a mobile gacha where you then ask "what is the point of all these ships, skills, and gear if I'm only ever going to be able to use the same few ships and gear?" when, in actuality, any decently fitted, leveled, and coordinated fleet should be capable of doing it.
yeah the people that vote those changes down usually do have some superiority complex over other gamers who cant beat it and use that as an excuse to laugh at them usually

for the 3 stats, having them over 200 is basically having safe mode in OS, so it a lot easier, they have a use. For combinations problems, they are hard (i'm not saying it's easy), but you don't even need meta ships, and i'm saying this on my own experience. Using meta ships is something I don't like to do, and being able to clear OS without meta ships is something you can do. Healing boss needs it's own strategy, and you can go to port and even change fleet if needed. It is HARD, but not IMPOSSIBLE

The problem is that you cannot go to port and change them if its a rainbow siren coordinate (as far as i know) since youre told once you enter you cannot leave, meaning that for some people they literally cannot beat these bosses and essentially become a waste
then you should try before in Strongholds where you actually can go back and forth and try different stuff until you can do everything, then try r6 loggers where you can't do that
i know its supposed to be endgame content and all but requiring 5 ryuusei ark royal strat is a dumb thing to be needed

I refuse to use Ark Royal on principle and can do everything fine, fwiw (So I'm seconding this)
that's why im telling you this, my fdg is dev15 and my ark royal is lvl100, I'm not using meta ships, but I've been able to clear that siren
im just saying that that ability is busted compared to the rest

some of the others are bad in combination but that one is on a whole level on its own
yeah it is hard compared to all others (only in loggers), but it's the only hard boss. that's why i think they shouldn't do anything to it
i guess there will always be the people who want the game to be dark souls difficulty and those who want it to be a casual gacha 
META should make things easier, not be the only possible route. This game would be better off adhering to this in PvE environments.
A lot of players just want to turn this into an auto-simulator with the most powerful ships and gears, which is fine.
Not everyone has the time or drive to do that.
Or in some cases (myself included) abhor the idea of following a guide on how you "must" play.
I can't auto neither Strongholds or Loggers. I HAVE TO play manual in both. But META is not the only way to do anything in this game
Saying that, Im not even using 120 ships in some cases and still, being able to clear anything
I actually prefer that there is at least some content that needs to be done manually, it makes it more like a game and less like a clicker
I've never felt truly gated by any combination of skills that Sirens have had, including that 5% heal every few seconds. If you feel like these fights need to be nerfed because they make you feel like you need to use better ships, then I'm going to say that they shouldn't be nerfed so that these powerful ships have a reason to be powerful and I can justify using them. And I don't think Bismarck or Prinz Eugen are usually considered as some of the stronger ships in this game. There need to be strong enemies somewhere in this game so that there's something to aim towards when developing fleets or new ships. EX fights in events don't really provide that because they don't have a reward worth improving for, unless you really want to stroke your e-peen. Siren bosses do have rewards worth improving for.
Also, give us an item in OS that spawns the old "No Shikikan buffs" Siren Stronghold as a new, higher difficulty with even more rewards you cowards!

Out of pure curiosity, why did Graf Zeppelin not get her 3rd skill. Speaking in which of a variation of Zeppy's [Taste My Wrath!] skill. Heck, even just that skill just a little better. Graf Zeppelin has 4 guns mounted on her rigging that look like the one Zeppy is holding.

why remove the option for fleet select in OPSi at the bottom left of the screen? that was a very convenient feature not needing to scroll over a big map and find the other fleet

I personally prefer the "move per 3 days" over the non-clean finish, but my own suggestion would still be to always spawn strongholds ONLY on secured zones, 100% unfuckable. But seeing those puzzles, maybe the developers dont want that and love screwing their userbase intentionally... 
Please make siren strongholds as if they are EX/Hard stages in OPsi. That will help players that don't want/can't finish stronghold, while also allowing them to have access to the maps that are otherwise obscured by that red whirl.
Can the maintanances be please less of them but higher quality? This is just horrible. Every week game broken for 1 day because noone cares about state of maints even when its been told multiple times for last 2+ years. It hurts the game’s image as a whole. If the game is still littered with bugs after a maintenance on multiple occasions, clearly more effort needs to be put into debugging during maintenance to ensure a less problematic finish. Speak to those members of the team to see what can be done differently to accomplish that.

There's difference between voicing your grievances with certain (valid) issues that the game has and ranting in extremely aggressive manner, providing very basic feedback ("just do updates less often") and then acting even more aggressive when updates are not, in fact, done less often.

Sometimes, they will only be able to point out the issue, and depending on how frustrated they are by it, will add extra emotion to it. As someone receiving feedback, even these simple forms of complaints should have something you can take and use to improve the game with.

I have sent out 2 request for aid and still only have had 1 join. So it looks like its going to be a hit or miss on if you actually get help.
The constant leveling of the boss past what your fleet can honestly handle is a bit of a poor choice past a certain point. On my own I can handle a level 6 boss and kill it before the time runs out maybe level 7. Since level 12 it just turned into me being annoyed with the fights. As it will take me a couple hundred oil to finally take the boss down. Usually due to never getting more then 1 person to assist in the fight. Like my current lvl15 boss. I am now almost 2 hours in and its not even to half life......
any chance we could get an option to skip the "victory screen" and damage score after each battle? or, at least, make it disappear byt itself after some seconds, without needing to click "continue" ?

I am not asking for it to be easy. I would simply suggest giving the player the option to raise the level of the boss.
As being forced to fight a boss 25 levels higher then your fleet seems a bit much.
As to your suggestion to level more ships. Thats what I have been doing. I usually only do the boss fights for the points then go back to leveling.

Another inconvenient thing is when you cleared the map and left it, then left the OPSI, then returned, you cannot start the other map, because you have to return to the map that you already finished, and leave it again. TF is this for?

The Shinden was bugged, actual stats didn't match description/intention. It's more like ASW bombers apparently losing damage on +11 so to 'fix' that they made it just use +10 weapon on 11 instead. Intentional? Probably not but who knows.

I feel like that if there were more daily attempts for players to help others bring down META characters, the request board wouldn't flood the chat so much.

Too much sync points needed for MLB Hiryuu META. I'm an active player, but it seems I won't make it in time. Not because I don't have enough of them, but because of cap 200 per day. If you skipped some days of farming, there is no chance, that you will make it.
Most people can't do 500k damage in one run... Limiting people to just 3 clears daily to help out other people is way too small to clear out the amount of requests.
And they balanced the rewards already so that people wouldn't get Hiryuu META in only a week.
So something has to give if chat is to be cleaned up, so time will unfortunately have to be the factor.
200 per day? You get 375 per Stage15 host, which you can do twice a day. Then you get up to 75 per fight you assist with, which can be done 3 times a day. That's up to 975 per day.
I mean, 200 Ashes coordinates. 975 pts per day is still not enough, coz we need at least 25K.
Assuming you can get 975 per day, that'd take 26 days to do. As of today, you still have 2 months until Hiryuu Meta leaves.
Assuming you don't assist anyone and only complete your own hosts, that'd be 34 days, getting 750 per day
We'll get the OPSI reset after 2 weeks. And a new META ship, I assume. If we'll do Hiryuu, we'll delay with the new ship research, and that won't end ever.
When you tap on the Ashes Showdown, it displays the date range at the top left. 2020.12.22 - 2021.3.18
If you go to the global map, you will see, that the OPSI resets in 15 days.
Which I assume refers to shops, missions, Siren Strongholds etc. in OPSI, while the date range within Ashes Showdown refers to how long Hiryuu Meta can be fought.
There are rewards going all the way up to 70k. There wouldn't be a point to any of them if we couldn't even reach MLB Hiryuu Meta before switching to the next boss.

So I am playing mission 8-2, just started level. I move my second fleet to wanted tile and stop. I then click to change back to first fleet and then I watched as a plane ambush triggers and hits my second fleet which has been on said tile for several seconds now. Well alright. XD
just a suggestion, add a way to enhance gear multiple times by adding a slider or a +/- button. The UI would also show the amount of resources needed for the total upgrade

i just overall feel like the game needs more of those effects,not just ijn(as thet usually have trash bomb placement and focus on speed so noone will use them and the interesting part will be just forgotten,so if other major factions get those effects they might not get forgotten and be used later),instead of just relying on pure bombs and stats

all i can think of is increase the cap for strongholds per week and make them spawn mid-week as well as add something for lower level players that cant clear the stronghold,so newbies have something to do,while older players can just no brain through it

When describing the material/substance itself, the word is uncountable (like sand, rice, etc.), so "content" is correct (i.e. new content, content of a poem). This is rather pedantic but I have seen "contents" increasingly being misused by people within the Yostar community so I feel like a correction is long overdue. I am not bashing but instead suggesting a correction as I understand the difficulty of the nuances of a non-native language as I am a non-native English speaker myself.

Events can have limited ships WHILE OpS lets you choose which too farm and it's not mutually exclusive in any way.
OPS does not though. And there is no indication it'll ever let you "chose who to farm for"

The torp sign in the shipgirls helps but doesnt tell which one is about to shoot(unless youve memorizes the order)
This helps us avoid using strong torps or airstrike against weaker ships
About the specialized core if it could exchange for resources like oil, coins, or small amount of cubes(if that possible) That might be good. because some commander include me already have both warspite and sandy retrofited and also fully limit break shinano. I have around 4k core and I don't know what to do with it while watching it stacking up day by day.

there are a few ships that tend to be left in the ether for a while; to date there's been no other sign of Kimbery or Mullany. That also brings to mind the lack of skin mini-event reruns as of late and a couple of skins seemingly lost forever (Desucland's Dark princess skin which was part of Divergent chessoard and was put in the core shop only in CN, and Gridley's X-mas skin whose mini-event never got reran unlike Ooshio's or Wabaka's)

There's still way too much dialogue from TB in OPSI. After doing enough runs in fractured seas and strongholds we already know what's happening. It's incredibly annoying and repetitive to have her pop up every time there's an ambush we know about, an encounter, the weather control, a newly spawned enemy, meowfficer scavenging and loot, especially pawn's communication channel scanning, etc. I constantly have to go back and forth from where I want to tap/click and to the top right just to skip whatever's being said for the millionth time.
I'd prefer it if her dialogue could be a toggle to stop her showing up at all. If anything, the only time I'd want her to show up is when I need to skip over a puzzle so I don't waste my time. And for that point I'd want the option to do it immediately.

Also, the napalm traps, that cover a lot of cells around the trapped fleet, are doing too much damage. You can pass it only with 30% HP left. Even when we passed the flame, it still makes damage.

Just open those last and then exit the area via the Exit button or moving another fleet onto the teleporter
How should I know if it's a trap or not? There is a lot of locations like that in the same map.

Okay so i know a trade system is a no no but and hear me out here has there been any suggestions about a excess event item trade system? So For examples if you have any event currencies left over you can trade them in for oil/gold like a 10 event currency to 100/1000 gold/oil. (10 : 100/1000). Or something like that? Not sure if that makes sense. Also still waiting to see if we will get ability to upgrade gear parts. I have so many t1 that i cant use and want the ability to upgrade them or convert them into something else.

Personally, I don't think the best way to solve this issue is to run events more often since I can't imagine we would get a chance to roll for strong ships more than once a year. I would love if a special wishing well that let you roll for event locked ships was implemented. It can even be run during skin reruns. People like me don't buy skins for ships until we have them. I think a system like this is needed for me to recommend this game to other people since I can't expect my friends to enjoy the harder content and min-maxing without having busted ships like Perseus or Nagato. It's sad knowing this falls on deaf ears 
The game has to follow through on its word that limited characters and skins are in fact limited, otherwise people who decided to extend their efforts (this includes but is not limited to spending money) to obtain them would feel cheated. Imagine buying a limited issue of a book/CD/etc just to find out it became a regular print after a month. I agree that reruns have lagged behind but if your complain is about not being able to obtain powerful units rather than specific ones then I don't think that holds up. Several of the ships considered by most as top tier have been in the permanent pools for a good while now.
Saw someone else make the same complaint I wanted to. With other “token collection” events you can get them from WA, events, and Hard mode. It took me a while to realize all the work I was doing on Chessboard HM wasn’t getting me any pizza tokens. Then I looked at the reward tiers and realized I’m not even halfway to the damn outfit after days of grinding 8-4 and 10-1. This is absurd.
Idk what you mean they aren't limited since they are still locked behind a special event. Tbh I don't care if I feel cheated from investing a lot in an event because the benefit of being able to wait less time to roll a ship you missed is 100 percent worth it.
For the second one, you can go take a stroll and look at PvP leaderboards. Amagi and Nagato are far overdue for being in permanent pool.
If you care about PvE more, the game is significantly harder if you don't have Persues, Richelieu, Jeanne D'arc, Jean Bart, Howe, Noshiro, Shinano etc... Every single non-PR BB thats good is event locked on EN. Baltimore and Formidable icing on the cake I guess.
@crimson niche What i mean is that if they said "available from x day to y day" then they have to stand by what they say. Otherwise they will lose credibility. You can do the full campaign with illustrious and unicorn instead of Perseus. Warspite can do the same job as howe and Jean bart etc. Regular pool has Essex and centaur, etc. You can comfortably beat ch 13 without any of those you mentioned.

Ik it's possible to beat w13 without any of the ships I mentioned. That's why I said significantly harder. Im just saying almost all the top tier units are event locked.
Also I should mention it's impossible to make a good sub fleet with only permanent pool ships.

Which events? I cannot recall a SINGLE token event that dropped on WA or hard... except Circle lights which did drop on HM which was fixed after a week. Pizza does drop on events.

1)FP and torp are more of a CA thing,bcs CLs need to just NOT DIE in a fight,and usually they have just a decent effect with their skill instead of having the raw dmg(helena,jintsuu so on)
2)second skill has a really weird trigger mechanic,as well as the effect itself,its not related to buffing CAs/CLs/CBs in any way and generally useless as there are no such threat to just kill your flagship in a main fleet fight,there are some SIRENS that can do it in one go,but thats the other thing that doesnt trigger it to be useful
3)Even if the effect itself is decent,yet again it is locked behind this trigger of engaging main fleet which is not as useful on normal maps,and nearly useless in OS
i also wanned to write about it in the post,but yet again,character limit,and CAs are not used as often,as well as they are considered to be tanks,not dmg dealers so this can work for a while,so focusing more on CVs and cats for them is a priority

Even events allow you to get side missions done through them, so I see no reason OPS isn't allowed it
because event and OS are different, OS is a permanent content. And by the way, you can do all you have to do daily in AL in less than an hour
If you consider Ashes as "daily", it takes far more than that (And since Ashes is limited I do)

Eh, not sure if Pizzeria falls under things specified. Again, Hard and War Archives never gave these points either, just normal and event. Usually they time these better with events, now we had a bit of Inverted, but with the 2x not counting bug (RIP my D3 runs) and now Tragedy for 5 days.

As an emulator player I use a key for all "return" buttons, except this one ( that is used fairly often in Opsi ) is weirdly offset compared to all the other ones, and I can't find an angle for the button mapping to get it and all the other ones.

That was mainly a thing with Fallen Wings and Winter's Crown due to their unusual run statuses
the remaining three events had 2 runs even in EN, so there won't be any rate up.

The term you're looking for is clearing mode which is unlocked at 3stars+Safe/Green danger level; the latter is possible, just not the former.

Make the AFK feature allow you to set one fleet to "mobs only" and the other on "standby". Currently its set up in a way that forces you to battle the boss as soon as it spawns which on some maps you don't want like when farming 12-4. A feature to make fleets go after "?" would be nice too.
You can change that in the Role tab in the fleet selection screen
May i ask why you'd want to stay on trashmobs?
Farming 12-4 is more efficient if you clear all the trashmobs first and then go to the boss or skip the boss entirely

If the auto is made to save people's time on, say, dailies... why doesn't it allow to do all 3 Hard runs on a single click? That would actually save some time on the daily tasks, but currently the auto mode cannot be used in OPS, Raids and basically saves 2 clicks on your Hard runs.

Macroing won't save you basically any time doing an extra click doing the 3 hardmode 
But that click requires to be at the phone still. Just having it do the 3 Hard runs at once without interactions would save up a bit when being busy with something else. It's a minor save, but since it's one of those things you need to do daily, it adds up. And people have been complaining about the daily time requirement a LOT in this channel lately so it's about the one thing auto can help them at.
I think if that's going to make or break it for you then you must have more important things to do than play AL

I have a issue with the game. I’ve tried discussing it with others and they don’t share the same worries as I do. This isn’t about the gameplay of azur lane, but it’s about the app itself.
After one major update I received a prompt that said simply ‘Allow app to track?’ And it honestly startled me. Why would azur lane do something like that? I did some digging and I really found only a few others came up with the same prompt. The prompt wasn’t in any typical azur lane fashion and only a small percentage of people who downloaded the update received this which again made me startled
I tried to talk to moderators about this since this was a genuine cybersecurity issue, azur lane was literally trying to track things like my real name, email, and everything I do on and off the app. If it wanted to track what I did on the app this wouldn’t be a discussion. But it was about things made specifically by “other companies”. You can see where this would frighten me. The mods were nothing but dismissive and practically ignored my genuine worries. And the fact this came only a week after the tik tok ban controversy got me even more frightened
I’m not suggesting Anything, I hope and do believe there’s still a logical reason why azur lane would do this but I genuinely can’t find any. Since this is the feedback channel and this isn’t a suggestion, all I hope for is that this is in some way removed or explained. Cybersecurity is a big deal for me and I don’t want to have another day having my favorite game ruined by genuine cybersecurity threats longer. I just want this explained or fixed.

the only explanation I can wager is that it is an apple service and is an opt in kind of deal, it works similarly to how advertisers work by using your information and giving it out for "personalized ads"
this one runs through apple instead of 3rd party, and is opt in, so as long as you opt out, you have nothing to worry about when it comes to (azur lane based) personalized ads

yes, during one of our major updates last year, I believe all iOS users received this prompt, but like any kind of "allow tracking" button, most users just pressed no and moved on

I went to grind on normal maps just now and was a brawl and a half to turn that thing off, bunch of wasted oil for nothing

For hard mode, it would be nice to show the oil cost of each fleet formation at the fleet select/fleet formation screen, beside each build up fleet. In hard mode, we do not use our pre-build fleets, so the player cannot see how much each fleet oil cost unless he start the mission ... by then may be too late to change the ships if the oil cost too high

Auto search is pretty nice. However, it is not really great for 7-2 farming.
You could
- Make mystery node a path finding priority. If the node is blocked, you could either code as engage all fleet on the path to the mystery node or ignore mystery node until there is a available path
- Make it possible to either set a lone mob fleet and let the player enage the boss manually or similarly set 1 mob fleet and 1 standby to enable player to pick up mystery node manual. Might be counter intuitive but might be easier to code/implement than the suggestion above.
You can turn off auto search in the map to do pick ups, then turn it back on. Just gotta be quick to do it before the fleet starts moving.
For auto search, Instead of showing us the "Total reward" window after every stage complete and making us click continue. Why not just skip that part so as to not interrupt the farming process and only show the "Total reward" window when the auto search function turns off completely, either by us canceling it or dock space full etc, to see everything we've collected from the farm all at once...?
Will search mode stop, when the fleet got critical damage? If not, then this is your flaw.
give option for search-auto mode to piroritize sirens, shipgirls, 3triangle fleets, clear all fleets etc
right now from experience, it goes for shipgirl fleets as pirority (which is good), then picks whatever is closest (which isn't good)

Hi, I've been playing the game since Shinano, I've been experiencing this feeling alot and wanted to share it.
Several times I saw a new skin in the shop I liked and might have bought, but I didn't own the ship.
I just took it in stride and kept playing, but recently I've learnt ships aren't re-run that often, formidable right now being last run in sept 2019. I'm not sure if this is intentional, but offering more ways to get unavailable ships, or including the ship with skin purchase, could increase sales.
All events are archived and added to permanent gacha eventually after their rerun

I just meant, I might not personally be playing the game in 2022, but I might have bought some of those new years skins that were offered a couple weeks ago if I had owned the some of the ships, but they weren't available, and might not be available for me to get. It's been a weird feeling seeing content I'd like for ships I can't get during it's available window to purchase.
There is no point to rush when it comes to skins buying. Skins have their own reruns, then added perma, or, at least, there is a new year big sale with most of the skins available. The only thing matters is collaboration skins, which won't appear again.
In Guild Operations, the monthly attempts aren't really clearly outlined and there's no way to change an operation after you've started it, so it would be better to either remove the limit or stop the operation from being started in the first place
It's really terrible, that I can't engage the guild operation for another two weeks. The limit of 2 per month was a bad idea.

Any particular reason why event SP stages don't get a clearing mode? I know y'all could code out the 2x factor for it anyway to prevent daily abuse or whatever, but I feel like if we're going to make 99% of the game automated might as well be kind of consistent in the application...

when you want to cancel skill training, it offers you to get partial EXP for the skill
could we change this to be no EXP but get the books back? I honestly don't see any situation where a player would want to get partial EXP from their book, but I can see plenty of reason someone might end up mis-clicking and using the wrong book and might want their book back in order to use the correct one
some people including myself utilize this feature to not have to wait the full duration of a skillbook to max out skills
Clearing mode was nice but I think I'll be turning it off since auto search and auto start battles is messing everything up
nexttime when rerun, put the gun that only drop from that event available to exchange in shop( 138.6, zara gun... etc) . Why the plane for FOrmidable and gun for Litto in the shop but not zara gun?
if you do that, there's no reason to do D3 in this event, as there isn't any ship drop from D3, so now you have something to do in D3

Farming D3 is useless anyway, coz u have to do at least 4 reruns to get enough BPs. For me their drop is close to 0%.
you can get points from every map, not only D3, and the amount of BPs is rng so you can finish in one rerun (depends on how much you play of course)
There should be at least 1 of the new equipments in the shop / point reward pool. Players can farm for additional ones in the maps if they want to.
if it is a specific gun (JB gun, littorio gun, etc) there should, because it's needed for a skill. In this case, Zara's gun is just another CA/CB gun

Timers for sending out fleets on guild operations are AWFUL for europeans... you made a 3 hour gap between 2 timers, and put them in the middle of the night. so that to not lose an aditional fleet I have to wake up between 3 and 6 AM.. please just make them every 6 hours and/or let them stack so we can send multiple if we miss one.
The time that the operation starts is entirely dependent on when the last operation ends, and ultimately when your guild master/officer starts the operation set itself
im talking about sending aditional fleets, and those happen on specific hours of the day
I think we should have some sort of tab in the ship gear where it calculates ships stats after all of the buffs/modifiers that affect the ship via formation or else, with an option to turn on/off stat modifiers like
1)on start buffs that ship gets by herself or from pair
2)buffs from other ships (like shinano AVI and RLd buff or nagato flagship buff etc)that affect ship directly in the current formation
3)stats after a meofficer skill has triggered
as it gets haard and annoying to calculate those by yourself when you need to do some calculations,as well as you can just miss something really easy with all of these stats
as we cant see their stats in moments during the battle to check,having this makes just life not as hard for some timings or dps calculations
Could you guys rebalance stars and actually make them reset (and have obscured zones count to them) You guys now have an "endgame" feature for 'hardcore players' where all there is to do really is dailies, which is the same thing you expect everyone to do daily anyways. How did you guys end up designing an endgame without endgame? There's zero point to going activelly for stars since you get them passive in the 6 months it takes to get enough promoted pawns.

might be a bug then, I'd consider reporting to #bug-reports or so, all updated clients should have the ability to toggle between states of any given map including strongholds now

But yes, as stated that button they added allows you to trigger the 'normal' zone and proceed past a Stronghold. It's one of the reason they added it (along with fixing the chapter transition bug). You probably want to take a screenshot of your Siren Stronghold screen if you want to post in BR so we can really see if the button is there or not.

Have auto play automatically retire the ships you get that fit the quick retire settings, and just give u the oil and coins on the continue screen

Regarding retiring/limit breaking, I don't have a problem with it.. I do, however, get tired of being asked if I want to use SSR/Elite ship.
wich u can also retire from there also if players wana use common ships as fodder for enhancing ships u can do it exact same way

thats just in the help tab. it was never updated with the new info so i assume they didnt realize it was outdated when citing it
My suggestions of how to complement the search-and-destroy function 
In a long run it should optionally stop if:
- It spended X amount of oil
- X amount of oil is left in the account
- The mood of X ships is below Y
- The HP of one of the ships in all fleets is less than X%

I'm totally thankful for the auto-search function. For performance reasons, it might be even better to skip the battle animations entirely and just calculate the results based on the stats, maybe with some random factor. That would be much faster and you can get more things done in the same time.
It may be nitpicking, but the performance is very bad. Really bad, for something that shows 2D animations and images only. It seems that most power goes into the GPU though, the CPU just idle around most of the time (which seems to be obvious as how much many images are shown on screen). I really hope the devs have written the game in CPP instead of Java though..

Alright, since they added the new auto-combat feature on world stages (which is a phenomenal QoL feature), I really think there needs to be some kind of system implemented where you're guaranteed to obtain map only ships. The grind to get some of these ships is kind of asinine given how like 90% of them are just collectibles.
My initial idea was going to just be a tracker where you clear the map X amount of times to get 1 copy for free, and have it scale with rarity (ie: something like - Clear 20 times for blue ships, 50 for purple, 80 for gold).
This could be a slight issue because some ships are better (Akagi/Kaga are better golds than Maya, Jintsuu is better than Houshou). But I think at this point power creep kind of makes that all irrelevant anyway.
I don't think it's a particularly good idea. Yes Rng can be frustrating, but that's what make the spice of the game. At the end of the day if you're guaranteed to get everything in the game without having that slight excitement of "Will I get it ? Will I not ?" then some people could quickly lose interest in the game.
As frustrating as Rng can be, it's also what makes all these game so popular, humans love gambling. Of course limitations are often good, specifically when it comes to things that you get or can get with real money. But here it's story ships, just farm them and that's it...
It took me 1 year to get Niizuki and Nicholas, but I don't think that's an issue, that's part of the experience. Now it's past me and when I look back at it it makes me smile more than anything else.
If you're very unlucky in all parts of the game that's understandable you'd want guarantees to be able to enjoy it a little yourself, but proposing changes that could ruin the game interest to so many other players because you remove their spice from the game for your own personal benefit is delicate.
There are others Rng parts in this game where it could be discussed because it can give a lot of advantages to some players over others ( PR gear/prints drop for example ) but for little things like story ships... heh.
You're just a small step short of just asking for them as at this point ship farming's never been easier (if a bit rough on oil/etc if used recklessly)
@formal oyster See, there's a few reasons I disagree with you.
First is because Yostar has gradually moved away from the story chapters even being necessary as the game has progressed. Most of the meaningful content of the game is tied to events, and Op Siren - OS in particular where most grinding should be focused. And events usually have pretty decent gear that limit the need to even farm story missions for that aspect.
The second is about your point of gambling and the "spice" of the game. That revolves exclusively around the gacha. I can assure you that zero percent of players are interested in this game solely to farm map drop ships. Nobody is going to "lose interest" because they aren't farming 3-4 or 7-4 or whatever stage anymore. The "spice" that people get excited over and keeps them playing is rolling for event exclusive gacha ships. Auto-running a map for a map-drop blue tier ship over and over is easily the least fun and least engaging thing you can do in the game.

Are they going to quit when they get them all then? The "spice" would be gone by that logic. I'm sure if anyone dug through the trophy room channel they'd see most people who are posting pics of their map drop ships aren't going "woo yipee yayy glad I got her that was fun!" It's more than likely along the lines of "finally! The hellish grind for this ship is overrrr!!!"
And as I proposed in my initial idea to begin with, I didn't even suggest phasing out the grinding. I simply suggested a cap for a single ship copy. The grind is still there for dupes and gear.
I can assure you that zero percent of players are interested in this game solely to farm map drop ships.
I didn't mean it as a goal ( even though for some ships it's debatable ) but more of a side effect. Of course campaign ships are not the main goal of the game, I just believe they do play their part in the overall experience of the game, in particular that Rng spice feeling. Yes it's just a detail, but it's the kind of detail that adds up, and if you remove those details, the whole experience would, hypothetically, feel a lot more bland. That's how I meant it.
If you put a safety net for ship drops, well you're sure to get that ship at some point, and it would kill that feeling of satisfaction when you finally get the ship. It's applicable to a lot of things in the game, so phasing out those things is, in my opinion, not the greatest idea.
There are other more important areas where we could put safety features to have a balanced ratio of rng satisfaction/frustration for sure, notably in gacha or other areas where the drops actually really matters and where resources to engage in those features are scarce.
But targeting secondary things like ship drops amongst other little things could be detrimental to the interest that players put into the whole grinding in the game in the long run.
Not saying that you're wrong or that your suggestion is bad, but I'm just sharing my feeling on it as I think this type of thing could have a subtil negative effect on the game over time.
If anything having auto search is a reason for them not to change map drop ship chances because it's super easy to farm for them now
How about adding a feature that can trade ship with other player?
How about adding a skin refund system?
@ruby echo I heard that Japan (or was it China..) has gotten an actual Chapter 4 story mode, so clearly the demand for further story elements are there. In fact, I'm pretty sure a lot of people became disappointed when the story abruptly vanishes after Chapter 3. I know I sure as hell did. The events are pretty much the only source of lore and story anymore and while I love them for that, it makes me frustrated that we haven't gotten further emphasis on story.
How about adding a skin gallery system to actually see every skin that we bought in our account, not just checking them from the shipgirls (can't even see the skins you have if you don't have certain shipgirls) individually or see a few in the shop which doesn't show every single one you have anyways!?

No, he said not to include Elites in the "Flagship" setting. It's 100% the case that they already aren't
na he said his fleet that is set to attack the boss only is attacking escort fleets
right so the next logical case is the flagship fleet clears things en route to the boss

The flagship fleet does not move at all until the boss fleet appears, and then it moves straight for the boss
so if a boss is blockaded by a mob, the flagship fleet will take one (or more) out en route to the boss because it has priority as soon as the enemy flagship spawns
that's the current implementation, he doesn't want that to happen with the flagship fleet
I did not get that explanation from what he said, nor have I seen that occur in D3, but it does make sense that the mob fleet should attack the enemy in the way of the boss and not the flagship fleet yeah
it's just a weird shitty edge case, but I'm guessing the only fix might be "use mob fleet to fully clear a hole after enemy flagship spawns"

we're having this issue my entire guild can't do guild operations because I accidentally picked the hardest op because I didn't know there was a limit. it shouldn't let me start and deduct coins, when I'm out of attempts. Remove this limit. It shouldn't even exist! It just punishes you most active users for what reason, you really think a couple extra gold plates will throw the balance out?

I don't really see that being that big of an issue, the refund would apply in gems anyway and well, people already spent money for that so devs wouldn't lose any money in that regard ( they would just not gain X more skin worth of money depending of the amount refundable, and only when refunding a non-L2D for another non-L2D or the opposite, is that that big of a deal ? )
That would also partially solve (or rather get around) the issue of broken skins that never get fixed, especially L2D ones, which are borderline scam sometimes to be honest.

Can the minimum bp drop for 5hr face research be 2? Especially for DR, I've done like 4-5 5hr DR research and all of them only gave 1 bp which is kinda ridiculous for the time and resource invested. Also 8hr should at least give 3 bp minimum
As a simple suggestion, adding an option to put the load screens as a black loading screen or something more SFW, for when you are in public transport or in a place with more people, because the triple pantyflash and some other loading screen images are... risky.

What stage are you doing? You will actually get some bonus currency on the C2 an C3 maps based on how much HP your harbor has left. That sounds like what you're referring to, in which case I don't know if that value is dependent at all on the daily bonus currency status of the stage
It seems to be in some weird line with OPS that "everyone should get the same handpicked rewards." - can't have some players get some more rewards than others, so have this really bad store system!
With the Inverted Orthorn "improved OPS" changes the message that loot spawned destorying a weather tower got removed. Why? Don't know. Of course I know loot spawns (since been told from the start) but there will be new players entering Operation Siren too who will never be told. Are they supposed to randomly stumble upon it? Always use recon (in which case, why is it an option rather than default)? Most times the loot doesn't spawn in the Line-of-Sight nor even sonar range so the only way you know it was there was the message, unless you recon all your zones. Is that how we're supposed to play? Alternative fixes would be to simply remove recon and pre-explore all non-story areas if that's the way we're intended to play. Or always spawn the loot in the line-of-sight. But easiest is just to restore a message that never should have been removed in the first place, especially with the "reduced TB" already implemented. OPS in newbie-unfriendly enough as is without making it more so for no good reason.

Apparent age depends more on type of ship and size than ship age

And if the age is the age of the ship, it would mean there's a starting year for the AL story, which has awlays been kept vague

Due to the licensing difficulties surrounding collab events it's unlikely we will ever get a rerun of any collab event, and so far it has not happened for any region

pls remove the new auto mode. i know my opinion is pretty unpopular but i think it ruins the experience of some older players. Event point leaderboard is trashed. honestly i think people would still play the game if AES was removed.
I've actually fallen in love with the auto-search feature, and I've been playing for almost 2 years now. I can finally do the grinding during events in a way that doesn't make me fall asleep, and allows me to do other things such as eat/watch/play a game. Without losing the precious event points, which I'll never in a million years get all of the rewards anyways.
I just wish Fleet Lock would be allowed outside of Safe Mode.

I mean you don't need the 20% bonus XP. Putting in second allows you quite a few rums before 0 mood. The x2 is more to speed up point/ship grind.
Another suggestion for the search mode. Let player choose the number of cycles, so the game would play on auto without our interference and until the moment, when all the cycles are ended and the loot summary will be shown.

Main theme OST is fine but it does get repetitive having listened to it for a couple years now lol. I like that they occasionally switch it up but maybe a function to let us change to any of the main menu themes at any time would be nice
Actually, it shouldn't be the problem of a taste. They just have to make us choose the OST, including the tracks from various skins, gear, etc.
And unbind these tracks from skins and gear, just make them unlockable when we get this stuff.

I'd rather they gave us the ability to enhance cats while they are used in OPsiren. Spending your fleet deployment twice to enhance a cat is kinda wasteful.
have the option of sorting ashes bosses from oldest first. new ashes bosses are piling up and leaving old ones lingering unchallenged for a long time

pretty much all event/map BGM I've bothered to enable sound to listen to cut/fade-out instead of looping seamlessly

I stopped doing SOS during original run of Iris of Light and Dark and have never touched it since then because the drops suck and it takes so long, plus 1 to Raion's comment
well, there's new forced relevance with SOS because the Bidder torps require a purple torp you can only get from SOS and the weekly
SOS is so dull and unrewarding I'm just going to use subpar torps, that's how much I hate it
easier/quicker way to restart a map on operation siren? right now you have to exit the current map by clicking outside he map, then enter another one (say, a port), then exit that one by clicking outside, then go back to the original one
Almost every good piece of gear needs a crapton of these drops. At the end of the first OPS reset I'm swimming in every other material but I never have enough of these to make anything. Every aircraft, AA gun, and some larger guns require these. Please increase the drop rate or have some shop for exchanging these mats, or upgrading purple to gold.

Try typing it in the server first to get her to see you, and then try DMing her if that doesn't work. I was having an issue getting her to respond to !submit in the server but after I did that and then DMd her submit it worked

There's some issue with the forms module sending the DM after typing !submit in the server, not sure exactly what it is, but I DMd the dev about it so hopefully he can fix it when he wakes up
But if you can get her to see your DM, it works fine

the siren factory/port kinda devices, the ones you can supply with 1 energy thing or 2 tokens, is there any reason why it has to spawn two fleets on it before you can use it?
I just feel like it wastes too much time, especially since it's the siren structure that already takes the longest to use just from all the dialogue you need to skip through and the animations showing you what each offering unlocked on the map

Could we add an "Elite-only mode" to this card. As name implies, an auto-search mode that would only kills Elite before retreating, for Siren farming in events for example.
Auto-search already prioritizes Elites, so fleets will attack them first before anything else if they're on the map.

You're...doing this wrong, man.The quests themselves give about 40 coordinates, the other 160 you get from clearing the map the quest takes part in.
please change Ying Swei name to Ying Rui. Ying Rui looks 500% better to hear and also for consistency like how other server tell her name. changing her name will 100% make us confused.

Just an addendum on the Ying Rui/Ying Swei thing, it looks like she's called Ying Swei here to maintain internal consistency with the other older Chinese prewar ships, since all their names use the Wade-Giles romanisation. So Yat Sen instead of Yixian, Chao Ho instead of Zhaohe, Ying Swei instead of Yingrui.
I'm sure I've seen this a time or two in here but a sort by limit break for dock or perhaps an easier way to parse the fleet tech "chibi" room would be neat
