IDK if this would be good for the devs to have fun with or not, but is there any way that special cutscenes could be done during events if you pull certain ships while having specific ships?
Like taking the recent Bismarck event for an example, say you have Tirpitz and U-556 then obtain Bismarck from the Gacha. Then a special cutscene plays showing the shipgirls meeting again with U-556 bringing the sisters to meet

my biggest issue with the game is that there is like no interaction with friends. yes i can look at their dorms. wow. but thats like all isnt it. why cant i send friends a little bit of oil daily? like my secretary or the girls in my dorm could pop up in a friends dorm with a little gift of oil or coins or whatever. it just feels like there is no benefit at all to have friends in the game.

Perhaps have some way of a friend's ship (maybe their secretary) come visit your dorm and have a chance for a small gift such as gold, oil, etc. That way there's more interaction w/in the dorms and plus having more friends is encouraged and beneficial to the player in someway.

would it be possible to add a feature where you can reacquire ships from your archive at the cost of an equal or higher rarity bulin? so that retiring event ships isn't so nerve racking... also making it cost a bulin would mean that there wouldn't be any exploits for free limit breaks

ya but if you can just reclaim any ship you want then there'd be no point in dock expansions. you get the ship, scrap it, and later on if you want it back, scrap a common or ship you don't use and bring them back.

it's not about accidentally enhancing though, currently there's no way to get tirpitz so if you retired her after the event then you'd be missing a pretty important part of what makes bismarck so good

There needs to be a fix for targeting on flagship BB secondary guns for all ships. I noticed this when I started running Terror at no LB for my backline EXP research farmer. The secondary guns target upper usually just fine unless it is the furthest part. The secondary guns late target lower or constantly are off target. I get it if two get through the AI tries to target both, but if only one gets through it needs to properly target the bottom one and sink it before it hits.

For any of the mini SP events that require you to do 60 runs, it would be cool if there was like an SP4/SP0 that was like lv 90-100 enemies and counted as 2 runs or something. it kinda sucks having to burn oil on level 70 enemies
Guys. In April, you interviewed users about streams. Why, in two months, still there was not one stream? It's sad to see that CN and JP servers have streams from developers/localizers. And Global doesn't have them.
Well I'm sure there's plenty of thoughts and ideas that need to be considered/weighed when planning out a stream straight from the game's team. Plus, I'd imagine the EN team is constantly busy so it becomes even harder to get it planned. But those are just assumptions as any real answers would need to come straight from the EN team
When completing all commissions in one go, could we make it so we actually collect everything at once, similar to the "collect all" feature of the missions ? Right now we're still kinda collecting them one by one in the end 
I'd say that is fair enough since otherwise it would need a whole new UI for up to 24 ships to be implemented
I'm sure there could be some simplified way to display the xp gains. And even if not, just stick with it for the ships, but put all the items in one go, that would already be an improvement.

Firstly, why is the world chat icon in the pvp screen? all it does is block the enemy health and needs to be removed from that ASAP
secondly, could we get a swap equipment button? it would fit perfectly in between the "Equip" and "Cancel" buttons and is something I know everyone would appreciate and has been asked for before

Don't really wanna write an essay on why would devs need to tune down amagi in pvp, so i'll just write some ideas later once i figure out how to formulate them
Amagi in PvP can be a bit overpowering if not countered properly. Her weakness is the non-existant AA and the fact she has medium armour (big damage numbers). Yes, she is VERY strong, but then again she was a 30kt BC/fast battleship project (as she was inspired by the Hood who was a fast BB for a time until she got worn out and missed her retrofit). She also has more and bigger guns than Iowa and even Izumo. I'd say she is real strong, but not game-changing like Owarida or Akaga. A very nice non-faction-based buffer

I'd say AL team has not specified well how the ads shhould look. Try getting something like the Second stage WoWs collab? Oh yes, that trailer was insanelywell done. Tie it to the story up to chapter 3, show charaters and the gameplay. You will be gold.
The ads are sadly a very unsuccessful endeavour as it is.

I'm not gonna complain too much but I really do think it's a travesty that Vestal isn't the best repair ship in the game. Only having a small buff to repairing Enterprise isn't exactly fitting of her IRL accommplishments.
Buff Vestal to also trigger her skill at the beginning of a battle for the lowest-HP percentage ship, or make it timer-based (45s)
As a theorycraft, but not suggesting, this could go well with a retrofit. By the way, she lived only because Arizona's explosion put her fires out

I mean I think the idea of having her be a single target healer on a timer (like akashi's skill currently) and increase it from current values. Maybe 15-20% for the most damaged ship/ 35s and double for enterprise.

that would likely be fine it's unlikely that you would get more than 3 procs in a normal battle and maybe you could get 4 procs on a long boss but at that point do you even want a repair ship.
It would need further testing with that form though.... I suggest 15% heal/20-25% Vestal HP
yeah i think either of those would be fine i think sticking with %heal is likely better as (at least with the current way higher maps go) you're likely healing vanguard which is where using ship% is best abused. A 15% heal for DD's is still likely 350+
And in it's current state of healing @20% even if you were considering using her, it's almost unlikely that you'll even be able to proc her skill in a proper mob fleet.
Minneapolis comes to mind as proccing @30%.

I was thinking of this for consistency for the ship drop icon (where it's gold for nodes that can drop an SR and gold chest for nodes that can drop a T4 chest). I know people can just check the drops before sorties but it's also the applicable to the boxes.

How? A T3 box icon certainly drops t1-t3, same with plates (which starts at 1 and up to what the node shows) . I can see no reason that people would still get confuse with that, considering gold bps are a world 5 thing already

Idk if this goes here, tho I'd like to suggest a small quality of live improvement regarding quest rewards, namely that if you tap the button to receive all quest rewards at once, said rewards would be totalled if possible to reduce clutter on the reward screen
eg. If I clear a quest that gives me 1 Wisdom Cube and one that gives me another Wisdom Cube, rather than showing two separate 1 Wisdom Cube rewards on the screen, it would just show one reward of 2 Wisdom Cubes

@shy pond @mighty lantern While I agree that ARs need buffs - they need them as a class, not as specific ships and I'm sure there're plenty people on this server (me included) who'd tell you, that Vestal is already miles better than Akashi. Also your suggestion sounds too strong as it just her existing heal, but on timer instead of on condition.

@naive cobalt Vestal would be stronger with this, yes. that is why I suggested that. but at the same time, Vestal is extremely niche, with a single-target heal. This means it is overall less useful than Akashi would be in a larger fleet comp. situation. Which is what this buff would be aimed at. Thus I ask you to still include it on the "Very high priority for 6 months" card already listed. The main purpose of the skill alteration is twofold- as the first thing, Vestal would not be wasting her skill potential on a battle where you make it through with a safe margin. However, I dee the potential probles, so here is a rewording of a skill alteration: After 30 seconds and every 45 seconds after that. Heal the lowest-HP percentage ship on the fleet by 7.5% (15%). You could have the Enterprise part, but in that case the healing would be only 50% higher now. Or maybe leave her current skill as is and introduce a passive heal which is more frequent, but weaker than Akashi's
I believe that you let your personal opinion on the ship override the fact that many people do not know how to use Vestal. I do not say this lightly, but I believe you should at least create the card as an idea, or add it to the general buff card. (Please do not this is not a personal attack, but rather my pure opinion on the rejection of the feedback which we discussed to quite some detail in this channel before the final version of the suggestion)
The single target heal is precisely why Vestal trashes Akashi, in that
- it doesn't depend on her HP pool, which means she otherwise would have to bolster it with +HP gear, which impacts an AR's main job as AAA
- it actually saves lives, unlike a smattering of HP which any real healer laughs at
If what you suggested is instead of her current skill - I'm sure you just suggested nerf
And massive one

The current part would be slightly tuned down. As this does bring her in as a single-target healer. it brings more utility to her. I even had a suggestion for it to be HP-based

Which only matters in a full fleet situation, and even then less than it actually does because:
- taking AR means dealing less damage, which means taking MORE damage that could otherwise be prevented
- the back shouldn't be taking damage anyway
- Arizona/Unicorn/Shoho still heal more and faster whole contributing to the fight
and would fix both of them potentially. As Vestal could keep her flavour, although at that point with her special item Akashi is still stronger IMO. and you do not seem to understand the point of +1 ammo on later maps

I think better wording of the skill may work. Every 35 (or 45, you say) seconds, heal the lowest-HP percentage ship on the fleet by (5-7.5%) 10-15% of that ship's health. If any ship reaches 20% HP, heal her for 20% of her HP. This can happen only once per battle. This effect is doubled if the target is Enterprise.
One skill with 2 potential effects, I know, but this is the rough outline of the thing I'd say would be ideal as Vestal's improvement

In my opinion, the 2 ARs have a niche job different from each other.
Vestal for healing a single target that's in heavy damage per node.
Akashi for a small, entire fleet heal plus vanguard reload buff.
Basing from this niche, Vestal does her well, it saves the ship upon lethal damage.
Akashi, however, lacks enough amount to heal the entire fleet, and in higher worlds, that tiny heal is easily nullified by Salvos, Torps and bomb boats (and planes if enough pass through).
Correct if I'm wrong but this is basing from my experience.
(I do agree Vestal [as an AR] still needs a buff, but certainly not a nerf for Akashi)
The main issue with ARs is that they don't heal nowhere near enough to justify their lack of DPS - sure they shoot planes down well, which is great in W12+, but you're still not winning battles by popping fliers alone.
Either you give them some way to actually deal surface damage, or you shore up the regular healing, the crane healing and perhaps the healing skills too - Akashi's in particular

In my opinion tho, Akashi heals based on her own HP, this makes it so she heals more HP in % for Destroyers than any other ships, which totally reflects what she did in the history (mainly repairing ships in the Tokyo Express, but the task is a logistical nightmare so its actually one hell of a job), so I guess this is actually pretty great design aesthetic, whether if the healing is enough is another story tho
Also it doesn't help that Destroyer are really out of meta in PvE right now

Indeed, that's why she's pretty good at that job in theory - but takes too long to beat Unicorn, who airstrikes and heals twice in 40s while Akashi only heals once in 35s (and the crane only heals one target at a time)
Well, I guess the other side of this argument is the 50% damage boost for one extra battle and one extra battle at normal damage can be considered healing by preventing damage taken in the first place by finishing the battles faster

How about making PVP more fun. I am not doing PVP for one reason: I have to equip all PVP ships, and when I farm, I need to equip my farming ships and take items away from PVP fleet.
So here's a possible idea:
Make PVP able to use every item that you own, doesn't matter if another ships uses it, doesn't matter what is actually equipped.
Let's assume I wanna use my Ayanami for PVP and I put her in my PVP fleet, either defensive or offensive, they'd both act the same way. My PVP Ayanami would have no equipment, doesn't matter what she is actually holding. Then I can select any gear I own, this gear is still usable for non PVP ships, so I can use every item once for PVP and once for non PVP. So my non PVP Ayanami still holds toolboxes and my PVP Ayanami is holding Oxygen Torps.
Would make it more fun and would make me, and I think a lot of others play PVP more because you do not have to switch gears all the time. Got exercise points? Equip pvp ships. Exercise points gone? Equip non PVP ships. and so on.

I just see no point why i would ever use subs for anything.
- the gear is cancer to grind
- they mostly cant reach the only useful target (boss)
- Every world is manageable without subs
- they cost extra oil and it would be a waste considering you want to farm as oil efficient as possible.
The only reason i could ever see myself using subs would be perhaps if there is such a hard world for 3* clear that 2 full fleets of max leveled ships and perfect gear still isn't enough, but that seems ridiculous unlikely to ever happen.

@sage cliff Just to let you know as well, we actually do have several suggestions that would solve the issues that subs are facing (including a couple you listed). Namely, making the gear easier to grind/get and being able to change/reroll their hunting range to hopefully get the boss spawn in it.

IIUC, the feedback is more about "why have a feature (on a certain category of ships) that doesn't work" since it might be misleading for people who don't know they cannot retire a PR ship and might therefore, e.g. fill a bug report when it's not a bug 
Regarding the "you have grind again then" point, some people play the game only for waifus and if PR ships are not waifu enough for them, I'm pretty sure they would actually be ok with scrapping them to free some space

Feedback regardless current state of pvp. Some might say, lol gacha pvp xdxd who cares. Well, i do. And i hope people on pvp channel as well. And many others i think will if these changes will be applied.
- rework seasonal rewards, make it so it's not just merits on all ranks and therefore for a casual player it's not bullins only and nothing else. Add something for top 1000, top500, top100, top10, top3, top1. Be it unique borders, emotes, gems, blueprints, ship skins, materials etc. Make it worth for all people to pay attention to.
- add more stuff into merit shop. Add books, bps, materials, cosmetics(borders, weapon skins or anything like that) more unique ships so it's not just bullins and purple boxes for players.
- Do change stats of certain ships in pvp. Balance them. I know currently ws kai and probably some other ships have reduced fp on jp/cn, like ws kai has it fp reduced from 100% down to 80%. Do the same for all problematic ships that make meta stagnant and one sided. Leave them how they are in pve, noone cares if Amagi might have the highest fp among all bcs(on top of having strong buffs/debuffs and strong aiming barrage) and out of all bbs only 8 have fp more than her. But do nerf their fp or barrage to sensible numbers in pvp.
- Based on point 3, don't let meta to be one sided to 1 particular backline setup. Make it diverse, so each nation could have it's own fleet with wr % on offense being +-equal to that of others. Right now, the only setup en will be seeing for the next 2 years+ in top100 for sure, top500 highly likely is: random ijn ship but probably hiryuu in most of the cases/nagato/amagi, juneau/yuki and whatever in slot 3. And according to ppl who have been playing on jp/cn it has the highest wr on both offense and defense. Even broken ship as ws kai wasn't enough to break that circle, that sort of says something. Uss and kms is just being non existent.
- Do something about cvs(maybe just buff some of their stats for pvp for now, like i said earlier), with lvl 120 cap they are getting outclassed(well, besides ijn because of amagi powerhouse) and in most cases you just have to run 3 bbs/bcs if you want to have your wr more than 50%(which will be pretty impossible anyway again unless you run the only meta comp with nagato/amagi). Or just rework them entirelly/make a new mechanic(for example, creating a 3rd row in the backline for them, where enemy can't target focus them unless broken through your vanguard)
- Do something with subs, so that there was a place for them as well.
- Remove 20% dmg buff on offense. Make the distance between backline, vg and your enemy equal. Right now it's your vg is being close to your backline, with a smaller area to maneuver in. And enemy vg being closer to your backline, while also having a bigger space to move in. That makes some things look stronger/weaker on offense and defense. Or make these rules being applied to top500-1000 only, so casual ppl would feel more confident if they aren't that high in the ladder.
So, that in my opinion would bring more attention to pvp and make it worth climbing the ladder, rather than stocking bullins. And for hardcore players it would keep em in the game, since for many i believe it would be more satisfying to explore new possible setups counter setups etc, rather than making their 1000th run through w11, w12 or whatever
Bringing more interest in PvP would indeed be a good thing. However I'm not a fan of exclusive content ( such as borders, skins or whatever ), wouldn't be fair for people that don't PvP.
I think It would be fair because ppl would need to make some effort in order to get it. You don't get stuff for free while doing nothing, you know. That not how the world works
And for the sake of competition there should be exclusive rewards.
Yes, enforcing meta is also a good thing if nothing above helps to change the stagnation.
@restive mountain PvP and PvE are very different. The latter is far more accessible to everyone. If you want the dorm reward, as long as you have the proper level and equipment to beat the EX ( and lately it's not even the EX, just the last SP stage ), you'll get it. For PvP it's a completely different story.
@velvet adder It's not about getting stuff for free. It's about not letting exclusive content to a very few people capable to get it. I totally get that people that invest in PvP and get a good rank should get nice rewards, but I don't think exclusive content would be a nice way of doing it. If anything, you will just disappoint people that will not be able to get this reward anyway because it will be very limited.
There's already plenty of nice rewards you can give for high rank players ( gems, cubes, PR blueprints, gold etc. ), stuff that can be rare for other players, but not inaccessible. That way PvP players can get their sweet rewards, and we can avoid the frustration of non-PvP players because they're missing on content they would want to get but can't.
I mean, a lot of people were already disappointed with the border exchange of the last event. Not because they wanted it for free, but because the task felt very restricted, in particular when you were not prepared for it.
The event period is way too short, even the Ryuujou event last longer.
Border for top 3 or top 100 should be exclusive, BUT, there might be a compromise if you make it like in some competitive games, you keep that border untill the season reset. So If you don't get your top 3 or top 1 next season it disappears untill you get that rank again

Or alternatively if you don't wanna grind that much, you could also roll the gacha and get Glorious that way. You have two avenues you could take for the event. A grind option or an option that'll cost you, but allows you to bypass the 60 runs.

That wall of text is all well and good, but it forgets the main issue with PvP - you can reset away a match until it swings in your favour and you win, with no repercussion whatsoever.

To tryhard or not is a personal choice, and so far - as CN/JP has observed with the Challenge Mode - AL has done a good job at giving reasonably accessible rewards to most (ie. Score 8800/12000ish) to get the border while letting those who wish duke it out on the leaderboards for the highest scores on Unlimited
Well I got a gist of the ideas listed down for now. I toned down the rewards part to something like a chat title/boarder that simply last throughout the season. This is due to the fact that adding completely exclusive stuff to the high end, while rewarding to the harder workers, creates frustration and damns players who either don't have LVL'd up ships (such as new players) or players who just don't like PVP. The risk here being that giving too many viable avenues may reduce the amount of cosmetics you can get, since if everything counts toward one thing, you're only getting one thing per patch, as it were - but then again I don't exactly expect to be flooded in borders and stuff so that may still work out
I agree that PvP should not have any exclusive rewards, but there needs to be some tangible rewards for people who are dedicated. Like name on a scoreboard is not enough imo.

The first steps to take towards making pvp more enticing are to halve the effectiveness of all defensive skills (ie: amagi buffs, enterprise's lucky E and hiryuu's invul duration), and change all the useless blue boxes that clutter the merit shop and add things that people might want, such as oil, gold, pr blueprints, etc. Everyone I've seen drop pvp cite the meta being cancerous as hell as their reason, while lucky E isn't exactly powerful in the grown up meta, when people are just starting she terrorizes them in pvp. Hiryuu/Nagato/Amagi is another cancer that is plaguing pvp right now, and it will get worse when Hiryuu gets her remodel. Stacking defensive buffs makes the entire thing too unfun and RNG for the attacker to hope for good torps crits, and that itself brings us to the other problem of needing a torp vanguard to have a chance against these comps.
Losing to Hiryu is just people being bad, but that's another matter
Yeah actually, weapon camo wouldn't be terrible, make them available through the PvP shop - better than throwing gold at it at any rate
I agree for Gear skins. Especially since they cost so much ( and are RNG to top it off ) and we got so many gold sinks added in the lasts months without getting more gold income.

Whats the reason of SoS signals taking to much time to do? It really impares your ability to play them during events, often flat out skipping. Why can't they be like hard nodes where you get to attack the boss after a while? Esp during events, that are very long and grindy, it is hard to find time to do the SoS signals

__Improve Notifications __
Two improvements i'd like to suggest
1. Notification Sound Cooldown - Should be possible as i have a few games that do this, able to set a cooldown timer for the notification tone, specifically when we finish ships training, typically all 3 of them finish at the same time, or several 1 hour commissions, sounding 3 notification sounds in a row, a cooldown would be nice to stop this (it's awkward in a classroom or workplace as opposed to 1 Notification Sound).
2. Bundle Notifications - I think Girls Frontline does this, example image attached.

another thing for pvp would be make it more interesting and worth investing in, as someone who has sodak and eldrige, more than enough gold gear, bullins etc there is nothing worth buying apart from the 1 cube here and there. expanding the shop would be really good. and ranking rewards. doesnt have to be exclusive content but maybe research gear / gold gear , core shop gear. or semi-exclusive content such as unreleased gear, that a month later everyone will get anyway. kinda how kc does it tho its not fully pvp dependant there

I tried reporting that loading screen artwork is cropped since the new UI was installed, but it was rejected with the explanation that it was the ipad/iphone screen ratio that caused it. Artwork was not cropped on these screens with the old UI. Could this be fixed?

I feel that a simple balance fix for AR could simply be just to reduce the oil cost by maybe 30%. Right now, Akashi costs 11 oil, which is hella expensive for a ship that does no damage to enemies outside of AA, and provides a lackluster heal. If you costs maybe 7 oil instead, it'll be much more worth it to bring her along on maps where u need the extra ammo and slight heals instead of dragging along another damage dealer.

No, but erebus doesnt offer me much for 10 oil in w12. Whereas an extra ammo, 3 repairs, and a slight heal every battle would be a good choice if i can bring akashi and cut down maybe 6 oil per battle compared to bringing another bb/cv when farming.
The ammo is useless, the repair is negated by taking more DPS, the slight heal is likewise useless - the one reason you want an AR in W12+ is AA and cheap farming
Erebus won't offer much, but neither will ARs

I know that a damage dealer would be more useful, but my point is that ARs are meant to keep your fleet cheap as possible when farming, so it would be a good idea to reduce their cost even further to make them more attractive. For eg, right now, Im farming 1:1 in sp3 with 1 fleet, but sometimes, my vanguard falls dead to the boss cuz 0 ammo. So, I am faced with the decision to bring a 11cost akashi or a more expensive damage dealer for a few more oil. 11 cost is pretty steep, so i decided to add another damage dealer that can help me grind PR as well. However, like I mentioned, if the cost difference was larger, like if the damage dealer costs twice as much as Akashi, I would prefer bringing Akashi.

My idea surrounding AR reballance is that they should slowly heal the entire fleet-whereas Shouhou and Uni heal faster, but only the vanguard and it is a burst heal (worse for sustains in certain situations)

regarding earlier feedback i noticed the same thing in pvp, for some reason the enemy enterprise seems to procc alot more than mine, mine is maxed out level/skill/affection. so its not that. i noticed that since month but always thought its just me being unlucky
not just here and there but literally every battle an enterprise is in i can already tell mine is proccing 1-2 times best while enemy one will procc nonstop
That's just unfortunate RNG if it's true. All Entys with a maxed skill will have a 70% chance to proc. PVP does not affect chances at all.

The torpedo boat can only attack underwater normally, but Soviet navy managed to USE THE WAVES to adjust the launch angle to use the torpedoes as ballistic missiles. It was an amazing success, there's even a torpedo boat memorial in the city of Novorossiysk

Well, any TORPEDO BOAT class ship could possibly do the boss fight, but it would be best to be done using a Russian torpedo boat. The new mechanic for those boats is "wave ride", intended for some boss fights

Without trying to exaggerate, this mini event is like the worst event thus far.
- 5 attacks to boss on lv 53 mobs
- enemy spawns can easily block you forcing you to do an extra mob attack
- you can get ambushed despite the 2 facts above
- exp is bad
- sp2 has the better SR gear to get and gives no credit for 60 runs
- have to do 60 runs or spend cubes if you dont get glorious as a drop, and she's mediocre at best
- 1 week to complete
i'm not really sure what the goal was with this event.
i have no issue with there being mini-events to help out newer players or just fill up downtime, but this just feels like an overall waste of oil that im obligated to do for my collection %
eh, i don't mind it. i like how they handled the event ships so you don't have to build to get it, you can just farm for it. i've got way to much oil anyways so i really don't care. i'm practically burning oil for the pr ships so this is nothing to me.
also any event to help out newer players is gonna feel like a waste of oil.
If you do the math for a vangaurd PR for example, having 2 1:3 fleets where someone in vanguard always gets mvp and you keep your 20% morale xp bonus would only give you about 1mil xp for the 60 runs and cost like 8-14k oil depending on what ships you use.
its pretty inefficient imo, but i guess if you dont care about oil or time spent to farm exp it doesnt matter. which is kind of the point of my issues with it
well i don't use events to farm for xp. i use the normal worlds to do that.
It's an old event. While it would be nice if they modernize it, I'm not terribly surprised they left it as-is. Like, "This came out 5 months after the start of the game on CN" old.

70 is fine, then the exp is like 7-2, but this is almost half the xp of 7-2
You're hoping the experience would be like that. There's not really even proof it would do that cause the event XP distribution is utterly bonkers
But anyways, I just wanted to offer context on why it's like this -- for the most part they seem to have learned and newer events aren't as painful, though of course valid feedback would be "Even for older events coming to EN, please take the time to tweak certain values (XP / enemy health / etc.) to be less painful"
5-3 has the same enemy level, its 4 battles to boss and gives 475/518 for med/large fleets opposed to SP 3's 348/388

This may get lost here, but I feel it is important to point out: If you have two events back-to-back as it seems we will get with the Glorious battle and the Iris event, could there be advanced notice? Some people may have whaled hard on the Schezro event and this one to get Glorious, so there may be some dissatisfaction with a new event hopping in directly afterward
We not taking feedback on pacing of events and "advanced notice" is not possible due to certain reasons as well.
Glorious is a mini-event with only 3 ships all of which you're able to get for free guaranteed, with gacha being an alternative method if you can't/don't want to actually play the event.
Updates are usually done on thursday (unless there's some weird exception) so if we get Iris as early as possible - that's basically an "advanced notice" of almost a full week that event is coming. (obviously I'd regret saying this if Iris comes out like Monday for some bizarre reason)

is there any change planned with auto battles ? because i really fail to see the point here. they are over too fast to actually multitask since you have to tab in back every 1-2 min again anyway as you have to confirm and click next node manually. mk16 (US) torps are the all rounder dps
g7e (german) torps are magnetic
type 95 (japan) torps are the fastest traveling
The IJN subtorps need a little help to be fair, their fast movement doesn't make up for both the damage drop (-1 torp per salvo compared to UStorps) and the guidance drop (no homing).
Worse, the higher speed makes them less likely to hit rather than more, as it has been observed that slower torps may still catch a target on its way back from its movement pattern whereas the speedy IJN ones just zip past

If yes, then this event is absolutely bad. I cleared the SP3 map 60 times, but I did not get any Glorious during this time. I was bored on the thirtieth attempt. Absolutely boring and dull grind. Could it have been possible to make at least a unlimited hard mode, so that it was necessary to destroy not 360+ fleets, but 60+?
Or why in this map there are ambushes or airstrikes ... It's just terrible.

While your feedback is legit - this is old event and it cannot really be changed since that's how it was before. At the very least, most if not all new events don't have ambushes which makes them much better to play.
can't really tell about "clear x runs to get the ship",since I don't know what was the last event to use this mechanic, but if you look at it the other way - it's just a guaranteed way to get it, if you're unlucky with map drops or gacha or if you don't want to spend cubes to get it.
There are more events with "clear x runs to get the ship", Hardy for example, the event seems fun tho, not just farm this map for 60 times and get bored out of this game easily..
Spee was also another similar event, and she couldn't even drop iirc. Build or 60 only

Please, please efficientize the equipping process. It's so gawdaful to switch gears from full fleets to other fleets and unequip all and equip new gears on ships.

To be fair if Glorious ( or any other ship from that type of event ) wasn't grindable, someone would have come here to suggest that those ships could be grindable because bad RNG. I didn't drop her either in 60 runs and I'm pretty happy that they're giving her out after some grind. This is a grind game after all. And it's better that way instead of praying RNG for every event, it would quickly become unbearable for some people 
Though I agree for the ambushes, but as previously said, it's an old event and ambushes usually don't exist anymore in the new ones.
why did they choose to give original version of the Glorious event? only difference between both versions afaik is 15-20 levels difference, but provide 200 more Exp and exact same rewards

I have a small but extremely useful suggestion. Add a Swap option for switching gear between the girls instead of always storing the gear. This would make swapping gear temporarily far easier for some people and prevent messy inventory being a thing in some cases

Something I haven't seen on Trello board that came to my mind when I received medal for dailies today: Would it be possible to make in-game notification for other things? What I mean is, we already receive in-game notification when new medal can be collected. Using same basis, you could add notifications for commissions completion, lab research, out of food dorm notifications, training etc (basically same notifications as the ones that get pushed to our phones, but in-game instead, maybe even other notifications that would be useful). I don't know how feasible or if it's good idea, but it would definitely help players who are focused on clearing maps to know exactly when other tasks are finished.

It's primarily used at present for when you get a medal in-game -- like getting SSR ship drops, or having run enough commissions, etc. ever since the UI update
I would have to receive new medal to show it... which closest is either getting SSR or doing about 300 battles...
To be fair, it flashes, then dissappears way too quickly (2-3 seconds?), so if we don't watch the phone/tablet/emulator window with AL constantly we can easily miss it.
So my suggestion would be "keep the side notification until a tap/click".

This was a mini event, and the length was probably to keep it in line with the length of time it was on the other servers (plus it's super old). Most full-content events last 2-3 weeks, and is the case for newer ones

The Glorious event (current one) is running for a week, which is how long it ran for the Japanese & Chinese servers. In a sense, it's only "fair" for it to run that long on EN as well. But it's a very old event, as it initially ran 5 months after the game came out in China. But something like Scherzo of Iron and Blood (the newest event for all servers) ran for 3 full weeks, due in part to the amount of content there was for it.
I'm just meaning to share that newer content / events with more going on do tend to run longer

Glorious is an event with 3 easy maps, no shop and 3 ships
Scherzo had 6 maps, hard mode with 6 more, SP with D0 and EX maps, several additional quests and missions, shop and way more ships
Of course it'll take longer

On the point of giving more gems, I could certainly see more ways for f2p players to at least extend their dock and their storage. Personally I'm whaling for that so I can't really tell, but I can see how f2p players could struggle to keep up with the numbers of (good) ships added. And giving them more ways to at least expand the docks from time to time would certainly be a nice thing, while keeping all others gems related stuff to cb players that financially support the game.
Because let's face it, dock space isn't just a "bonus" feature like a skin.

I have to agree with people who are upset about us not getting the skins that are new to JP. It was stated in the letter that keeps going around from WC that they would release skins along side our events, even if our events were first runs and not re-runs. We got Nagato's new sleepytime skin when we got the ISSS event. It makes me wonder why we're not getting Dunkerque's new casual outfit skin with the Iris event.
And as previously stated, we're going to bring it up to staff to get some information about them. So please be patient while we wait on that

also like i said there are purple gear that are better than gold gear (btd / comet vs hell diver) so by auto best / higher fleet power gear you are doing them more harm than good
the autoequip i suggested, for casual players wouldnt make that much of a difference, mainly because, if they were actually pretty casual about the game, min-maxing their strength with their gear wouldnt be that important, becasue they wouldnt be doing hard mode or ex stages or anything, for me I sorta want this function to be added, so I could quickly swap between boats i wanted to level or something, that is all
i think a better suggestion would be to create a saved set of gear separate from a ship own save gear set so that you can just load up the saved gear set on a new ship w/o having to gear them up manually in the first place
Is the statement from aki in game-news supposed to address them going back on the WC letter? If it is supposed to be, then it addresses and resolves nothing.

If it is, it's not like they can openly say, "Hey, skins coming just a bit later". They can't go and spoil things such as that. It addresses that they will be coming, but just at a slightly later date. Which is still pretty close to being synced. But again, this is assuming that the post is for the rerun skins
All the statement says is "content is coming." It does not refer to skins, it does not refer to events. All it says is that between july 4 and the end of august there will be content. It also doesn't address the major problem of them doubling back on a public statement about the direction of the game. This isn't something that should be "spoiled" or not, this is a matter that needs to be directly addressed and put down asap

But again, there's probably a reason why they can't openly say things. They gave a response as best they could that was in their parameters. And for going back, it's still rather synced. Waiting about a month vs a year or so for a rerun. Why they didn't release initially, who knows. That's probably something to do internally with the devs. But at this point, we'll wait and see if Res gets a more direct response as to stop assuming

It's just such an abstract inconsistency, we had skin sync for the other applicable events.
but theres 3 skins for ships were getting that are not being released, despite the statement and past events saying we should get them

yea but the vague stuff in game news is pretty frustrating and the stuff about us being impatient is sorta condescending, we literally just wanna know what's going on.

1 week long events are bad civilization. Some of us have stuff to do... Not even all the cubes burned saved me
It would be great if we could have at least 24 hours prior notice before any planned maintenance. Notably, CN / JP seem to have announcements a few days before the planned maintenance whereas we got the announcement with only 12 hours to go. Would be nice to be able to stockpile and plan for big events properly. 😃
No actually, JP patch notes came out less than 24h ago too 
the first ship of this event was announced last friday/saturday, you can look up announced ships to see if they are part of an event
I'm not sure about CN, but at least for JP, they're no different from us for when they get the actual patch notes or ship previews
actually jp patch notes always come out 2 days before 90% of the time

I remember it being exactly 37 hours before maintenance, i.e. 11am 2 days prior in December-March (or until even April), then it got later and later
Considering full rerun ships, here is my take: It is a shame it went like this..... The best course of action could be either pushing for the rerun at the end of this year or providing another chance of getting the ships in question (Introduce them at the halfway point of the event, or a special limited build). The retrofits honestly got me hyped too I'd say..... Kinda a shame considering the general positivity felt from the decision to include rerun ships in the Winter Crown and the fact we got Schezro at the same time as other servers

It should not be too difficult to announce that there will be a Planned maintenance on a date 24 hours in advance, no? At the very least, it will allow players to adjust what players do in the day before the event. If they can announce it with more than 24 hours to spare, then that would be even better. At least we can stockpile more resources in anticipation of a major event. 😃

@ornate basin , if they are concerned with announcing events, then they can just say: "We will conduct server maintenance on XXX, XX, 2019." There does not need to be further details announced if they want to keep it a surprise. This will just improve QoL and allow players to plan better. 😃

because if there was a feminine version of été i would have used that instead since it is being used with a female character
