i don't know the exact rarity and level break points, but as long as the cat node always takes at least 8 steps to complete, it should be fine

like after starting the cat node, your fleet needs to move 8 or more times to complete it

when using too low level cats, it may finish in 6 steps or 7 steps

you'd mostly be correct, rarely do you want a vanguard ship that only does damage, often times the vanguard is packed with a bunch of utility. So, ships that purely do damage tend to end up in mob fleets

pragmatically it is better if u actually spread the builds over the duration of the event

for example lets assume the UR drops at build 80
if u do 5 builds per day, then at day 14 u will be at 70 u still dont have the UR so u do 10 more pulls last day and u get her
it cost u 80 builds = 160 cubes

but if u do all the builds day 1 then u also need to do 13 more builds during the event so total cube cost will be 160+13=173

ofc taking it slow does mean u need to make sure u have enough coins for the last day of event
u might have to go to pity after all
