Armour mods aren’t the only stat that goes into making a gun good. Assuming equal volleys, the quad 305 will outdamage the twin 457.

Twin 457 is much faster, so it’s far from obsolete just because the Quad 305 does more damage. Makes it better for campaign, opsi mobbing, and PvP. Quad 305 will outperform vs Med/Hvy bosses.

there's not really a way of like.. farming it early on other than doing the highest stage that you can over and over and over, for commander XP and gold aswell as ship XP
your first major source of XP and Gold will be Chapter 9-1

Unzen at MLB is tankier than most ships you have, but if you want, shoving an Eldridge in that team will make them practically immortal. You might wanna look for a research main tank later down the line. I think for the time being Unzen is definitely worth using on your acc, just help her out with Eldridge if she struggles to stay alive.
