I don't have the better light armor shredders and I had york 2 built when she first came out so I guess me having her up to 125 is valid atp. Though, I'd like to hear opinions from others here since I am still learning quite a bit

If we borrow Suchi's number (https://suchiguma.github.io/deepresearch/auto-search-exp-and-coins#two-fleets), assuming you're only doing mob fleet and ignoring MVP, flagship, morale, and S/A/B rank bonuses, the average base EXP is 5260 EXP/ship/sortie (1 sortie = 6 fights). This means that non-UR ships requires 403 sorties, while DR requires 483 sorties at worst.

In reality, the sortie required is definitely lower because S-rank gives you 1.2x EXP bonus, flagship 1.5x, MVP 2x, and 120+ morale 1.2x (which stacks multiplicatively, but CMIIW).

Eg: Vanguard, all S-rank, 120 morale = 5260*1.2*1.2 = 7574 EXP/sortie, 280 (non-UR) or 335 (UR).

It roughly matches my experience where I swapped a vanguard for levelling once every two to three weeks, depending on how heavy I grind.

the pawns that spawn that are blue give no xp, so you shouldn't waste time with them

there are a few chapters where you have to clear all enemies/times they'll spawn in the way of items on hidden maps

the other mobs give xp and small loot, but opsi xp is a lot less so like I said a lot of people will say it's just better to do the minimum and just do more nodes

410kai is like almost exclusively used by musashi, FDG is nice but there are better options, the other purples are if you literally have nothing better. Georgia gun is just one of best choices

Max Limit Breaking it (~45%)
Achieving level 120 (~35%)

-Higher rarity ships gives more fleet tech pts .
-Heavier ship hulls also gives more fleet tech pts: CV=BB>CA>CL>DD

Side notes:
-PR ships give more fleet tech pts than normal but follow the above formula with development 30 replacing MLB.
-META ships are considered a separate META faction. They give same bonuses as their non-META versions.
-Collab ships, Muse and little versions of ships e.g. Li'l Sandy, Clevelad and Lena etc do not give any fleet tech pts.
-Iron Blood faction ships receive double the normal tech points compared to other nations.

getting ships to 120 costs quite a bit of oil and should not be done without due consideration. obtaining and/or MLB (of commons/rares/elites at least) is much more quick and efficient

if you're gonna be doing FDG, it's worth remembering Divergent Chess has several back line ships that you can farm dupes of for MLB, as well as use them for FDG combat XP dev

usually you want to avoid leveling to 120 just for tech points, unless you already have very established and strong fleets besides that and are chasing specific faction tech level upgrades. that being said, there are ships with good 120 tech bonuses which would be worth considering besides that

higher displacement/rarity ships tend to give better tech points, so ships like Scharnhorst and Gneisenau from Divergent Chessboard which are elite BCs are decent at proving a solid amount of quick and dirty tech points if you don't have them already
