the war archive ships, except say perhaps the ones you get from divergent chessboard for IB tech points, are obtained with less hassle through pvp/merit

having to farm the last stage 60 stages is quite a lot. That said, assuming you're relatively new; seydlitz is a standard feature in pvp, with temporary invulnerability, even in top level fleets. Other than her, the only one that might see some use is jda, but nowadays eldridge is better

duke of york was a fairly common replacement for those without vanguard, but nowadays she's evidently competing with all the other UR BBs that have been coming; Duke of york serves to enhance the damage inflicted by your other ships.
Chikuma can serve as a tank that could slightly enhance your plane fleets in opsi

anyways, supposing i were new, and considering eldridge retrofit item is rerunning soon, the only one of some use (if you pvp) is seydlitz

otherwise you might want to just skip war archives entirely (if you can already get fdg)
