Q: How do I get more fleet technology points?
You get fleet tech points by:
Collecting the ship (~20%)
Max Limit Breaking it (~45%)
Achieving level 120 (~35%)

-Higher rarity ships gives more fleet tech pts .
-Heavier ship hulls also gives more fleet tech pts: CV=BB>CA>CL>DD

Side notes:
-PR ships give more fleet tech pts than normal but follow the above formula with development 30 replacing MLB.
-META ships are considered a separate META faction. They give same bonuses as their non-META versions.
-Collab ships, Muse and little versions of ships e.g. Li'l Sandy, Clevelad and Lena etc do not give any fleet tech pts.
-Iron Blood faction ships receive double the normal tech points compared to other nations.

MEOWFFICER QUICK GUIDE

What are Meowfficers?
They are companions that you can add up to 2 per fleet (including sub fleets). They buff your fleets with their "skills" and "talents". There are 27 different types of them.

How do I get them?
You get them by opening Cat Boxes in the Cattery. The Cattery can be found under HQ > Cat Lodge. The first Cat Box you buy everyday is free. You can buy up to 14 more per day, with each costing 1500 Gold. It is strongly recommended you do NOT binge on them!

How do I level them?
Just like ships, they gain experience when sortied. They do not cost oil, however their exp gain is dependent on the oil spent by the fleet. They max out at level 30. You can also level them by feeding other meowfficers to them, at about 30% exp loss (20% bonus if identical). Additionally they can gain levels passively through Comf-Forts.

What are talents?
Talents buff a specific ship type or faction. They get 1-3 permanent talents, depending on rarity.. Every 5 levels they gain, they get a Cat Paw which can be used to roll new talents or raise the level of some talents. You can reroll any new talents once every 24h with gold (increases with number of talents).

What are skills?
Skills are unique to each type of Meowfficer. They usually give some stat buff or some perk to the fleet. They get 1 skill initially, and they can get up to 3 skills, each obtained by feeding duplicates (1 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd). The potency of the skills is dependent on their stats which increase through levels.
Do note that the skill stat buffs are mostly inferior to talent stat buffs.

I’m a more casual player but I’ve cleared all the content in the game. My personal benchmark for a ship is, if they can comfortably clear D3 hard mode event stages, they’re aight to have around.

Genuinely you don’t need to sweat over meta outside of Worlds 14-15 and OPSI hard mode boss in my opinion. Obviously your fleet of common and purple ships won’t be clearing worlds 12 and 13 and so on, but you can probably see what I mean. If you like Montpelier, invest her on the side while you build up your heavy hitters for the late game. I did the same for Watarase, you can usually use who you like since most content after you clear W-15 is OPSI and event stages

Collecting the ship (~20%)
Max Limit Breaking it (~45%)
Achieving level 120 (~35%)

-Higher rarity ships gives more fleet tech pts .
-Heavier ship hulls also gives more fleet tech pts: CV=BB>CA>CL>DD

Side notes:
-PR ships give more fleet tech pts than normal but follow the above formula with development 30 replacing MLB.
-META ships are considered a separate META faction. They give same bonuses as their non-META versions.
-Collab ships, Muse and little versions of ships e.g. Li'l Sandy, Clevelad and Lena etc do not give any fleet tech pts.
-Iron Blood faction ships receive double the normal tech points compared to other nations.

Liverpool = special item tokens, AP boxes, t3 dev boxes, lower tiers are optional cuz u get a lot from normal grinding
Gibraltar = all the mats (maybe books) if you plan to raise a lot of meta ships, if not, buy nothing
St peter = T2 ords, all the gold plates and gear upgrade parts, everything thats rainbow (pretty self explanatory), if you want SR gear desgs (but you get more than you need imo)

Consider not using pure tier lists to determine what you should go for, especially not that tier list. It's only reasonable up to chapter 13, and you can beat chapter 13 with most ships in the game just by being over leveled and having some healing and AA.
There's a very important balance between ship strength and cost.

I just finished 3 starring all of chap 10 I had same issue of my BBs getting nuked. Try moving too off flag postion with a CV in flag. Soon as I made that change it was easy. If your still taking big dmg after taking out a BB node switch to a CV or small boat node to build up on healing cause they dont target no where near as much

I kill em all on the first run. Then remember the number of escorts before the boss spawns for auto clearing. The auto clears fight as many escorts as you need to spawn the boss and goes to it when it spawns. So I just auto clear as much as needed.
