Quint 610mm rainbow torps - Not worth but if you know then you know. Skillful manual only.
Breguet - Decent craft, 30 electronics vs 800 core data. But get like 2 of each converging TB first.
127mm D - Not worth. Best gold DD gun against heavy, worse than rainbows always, worse than tash/Harbin against light/medium, worse AoA activation. Using gun DDs against heavy lol.
LN.401 - Not worth. Dive bomber with the tightest spread, reaching 99% geo hit rate against still boss. Exact same timing as Firefly 1771, expected 1% better light and 4% worse medium/heavy. And Firefly 1771 isn't exactly meta.
V-156-F - Not worth. New skip bombs! But even if they have 100% geo hit, it's far worse than Helldiver.
Late.299 - nothing special purple

How to acquire event ships / augments

TLDR Play through the event.

Black Rock Shooter is acquired similar to "Little Agir", where they join as an NPC and you need to complete missions to unlock them.
Dead Master is acquired from Daily Login rewards.
You get the augments from playing through the event. My guess is one from point milestones and one from daily login.

New Gear Lab equipment?

All the NEWLY ADDED gear is nothing special, you can ignore them unless you are a history buff.

Regarding the Bréguet Br.810, it is a great Torpedo Bomber option, and crafting it in Gear Lab can save you Core Data, but it's not the highest priority.

New META Showdown?

Yes. Kawakaze META is the next META Showdown ship available after Hornet META goes away. For information about her mechanics, read the datamine.

the coin oil ratio for event stage d1 is 4.5 avg
which gives you 110k coins in a week then

event d1 has enemy levels 90-95 tho, beware, I do not know if its possible to beat it with single fleet
