It's called "Day One Tips" for a reason, it's all stuff that's available at the start. Some of it's just info to keep in mind, but the big one is the Guild Shop and Starter fleet. Then you can just start working on the story.

MLB is max limit break. NJ is not, and is currently deadweight. Tanks are front line units that can survive taking damage. You have roon but she's barely a tank. I don't see another tank in your fleets. You have Portland but she's not in a fleet.

Just buy the ships listed in the Guild shop tab, stick them in your fleet as per the Starter Fleet tab, then you're set to cruise through story. There's some flexibility in the fleet too if you have a ship you like already.
If the shop isn't available for some reason, then just stick what you got in your fleet and work on story.

Nope. You can tap the Combat Data Packs and hit Analyze if you want, but most of it you'll just let stockpile for now.
Could maybe use some EXP books on your fleet if you want easy mode, but I'd recommend saving most of them to bring future ships up to par quicker.

usually depends but I don't really pull on normal events and save everything for UR events. But that's cause I have 12+ URs to run instead of the normal events that only have SRs for rate ups. If there's some waifu I like on normal events I'll throw a few cubes at it but don't go ham on normal events. I'd say 100 cubes ish for normal events and cut your losses if you don't get them
