As far as I'm concerned, armour break only means 20% bonus damage from shelling, so it doesn't depend on the enemy

Also it's a good gear to get from Core Data Shop, though it isn't particularly well-regarded in terms of Core Data recommendations. Well you can clear the game just fine without touching one of these ever; craft more Wyverns is fine
