indiana for backline dps, top tier among all gold bbs but that's it, rainbow bbs are all better except ws kai
zuihou for secondary healer, and good tech reward, +2 cv hit at lv120

You get fleet tech points by:

1. Collecting the ship (~20%)
2. Max Limit Breaking it (~45%)
3. Achieving level 120 (~35%)

-Higher rarity ships gives more fleet tech pts .
-Heavier ship hulls also gives more fleet tech pts: CV=BB>CA>CL>DD

Side notes:
-PR ships give more fleet tech pts than normal but follow the above formula with development 30 replacing MLB.
-META ships are considered a separate META faction. They give same bonuses as their non-META versions.
-Collab ships, Muse and little versions of ships e.g. Li'l Sandy, Clevelad and Lena etc do not give any fleet tech pts.
-Iron Blood faction ships receive double the normal tech points compared to other nations.

Always build on UR events, for individual events look back here for summary on what ships are good (unless you're going for collection, then just get them all). Don't build outside events except 1x light pool for the daily. Get to chapter 12 for farming, start Operation Siren asap.

You need 400 cubes for a guaranteed UR from pity during the event, so that's the "minimum" safe cube amount.
