T3 > T2 > T1. You get more event currency for using **ONE **of the specified ships IN THE BOSS FLEET. Using more doesn't increase the rewards.

When can I stop farming?

At the 12k milestone. You can also stop when you get Zuihou if you are lazy. The most important thing is to stop once you got everything relevant for you (which is at minimum Zuihou).
