Q: How do I get more fleet technology points?
You get fleet tech points by:

1. Collecting the ship (~20%)
2. Max Limit Breaking it (~45%)
3. Achieving level 120 (~35%)

-Higher rarity ships gives more fleet tech pts .
-Heavier ship hulls also gives more fleet tech pts: CV=BB>CA>CL>DD

Side notes:
-PR ships give more fleet tech pts than normal but follow the above formula with development 30 replacing MLB.
-META ships are considered a separate META faction. They give same bonuses as their non-META versions.
-Collab ships, Muse and little versions of ships e.g. Li'l Sandy, Clevelad and Lena etc do not give any fleet tech pts.
-Iron Blood faction ships receive double the normal tech points compared to other nations.

Flandre gun is a little bit faster but has slightly less damage per shot (148 vs 150), as well as decreased modifier against heavy (115 vs 120)
And although it retains the faster shell speed of the Champagne gun (13), it does not have reduced spread (19, same as most triple guns, vs 18 of Champagne)

and the fact is it's not like the actual rate really matters, you have no alternative if you want the drop in campaign

for events you can choose to decide when you have enough points and not bother to farm the drop anymore

Main reason I play AL is for ships designs (aesthetics) , so I would go skin, but dock space is the bane of everyone's existence. TLDR: Pop out the credit card and buy a bit. I usually just buy some dock space every so often when i fill up and never really had issues.

I wouldn't say there's a certain amount you should have. Just enough to get new ships. Like I try to get all new ships, so I buy more when I'm full. Usually it's good to have at least 10-20 extra or else you will be clearing fodder a lot when farming.

Alsace from early thoughts generally seems to be very good.At least as good as other UR BBs. She's especially worth it if you don't really have other options. However, we need to see actual testing. Whether you want the skin is completely up to you. I get skins for ships I don't even use or already have skins for, so it's all personal preference.
