Section 2.0: Pulling When There Is No Event

The strategy for pulling when there is not an event going on is pretty straightforward. One light builds a day, nothing more. There are several reasons for this, one is a mission to build one ship a day which gives among other things a single cube. As a light construction only costs one cube it’s effectively free whereas doing a build on heavy or special will be a net loss of a cube. The trade-off for the cube to be able to be heavy or special is not worth it in the slightest either as event pools are usually either the heavy or special pools(excluding any URs in either pool) with the event ships added in so there is quite literally no benefit to using those cubes on the heavy or special pool over on events.  

Also, DO NOT get baited into pulling on heavy or special for UR ships. I will let Riceist explain why this is a bad idea. 

“Do not pull only for the permanent URs as you will be able to get them indirectly from events. By pulling on the permanent pools. you will wastefully deplete your cubes and you won't have enough cubes to pull the new few events. The permanent UR pity allows you to select a UR after 200 pulls and these pulls include non-UR EVENT banners. Ideally, you would want to only pull during events and you will get the permanent URs for free. Even if you do get a UR ship (either from events or permanent banners), she is not useful until she is max limit broken. This is because non-MLB ships are worse than almost every other ship in the game.”

So the general advice is the highest hard mode world you can, at any given time, to maximise the core data gain

@steady beacon Well I've given that fleet a try and I 100% hit every single torp and airstrike and it still isn't enough dmg to kill the boss, it seems the black torp did do a lot for Unzen but I'm guess the low AVP dmg and not having a -EVA debuff really debilitates how much dmg I can do to her

Also is JinstuuM supposed to do more then my Unzen or is that still a case of her low hit stat dragging her down
