another give away || easiest way to get grimoires is to transmute the infernal racket, easiest way to get those is imps everywhere || only one you will be lacking is the food one (requires strength)

The higher chance is determined by which cardsets most of your deck consists of. The same rule that applies for card rewards 🙂 It's not transmute specific.
Only transmute specific rules are:

• Same banner color + higher rarity. If it's a banner you have access to.
• I it's a monster card, then you get a common card for a banner you have access to.
• If you try to transmute from a banner you don't have access to, then you get a random higher rarity card from one of your own banners.

Sidemutes have almost the same rules but you can't sidemute a black card into another black card (e.g. Grimoires).

Yeah so I’m using a crow and memorized covens sight to pick the exact card I want to draw and curse. So I’m picking the wands that haven’t been cursed yet and they seem to lose the tag in the next battle, only one is staying

It's just that it's not worth taking with zero incentive. The enemies are not so bad as long as you can deal with the special mechanics of The One.

And has the auto-stun 👀
... I think Tough Bones talent is definitely a huge plus. Or some other way to avoid stun.
If you have that then any OTK decks can easily take him down.
He gets harder the longer the fight drags out.
