Yes, hi
Hullo, see above please
I never interacted with that user so I don't even know what they mean
You pinged everyone so those who do, will answer
Aelion warned them according to #auto-mod
I mean the PS tho^^
!warn @fresh flax 1.1 slur baiting, and multiple ad hominems.
âš Warned Merlin#4257
If you believe a warning to be unjust, please discuss appropiately as lines out in #reports, read the instructions at the top. :warning:
We're here to help clear things up and answer questions, but if you're going to act like a child you'll be treated like one.
Yes
Bad faith arguments r basically all that happens here most of the time lol
Better be careful tho u get a couple warns and u will get fucked hard soon
Given how over the course of the server new rules have been added and new interpretations have been used in moderating, or whole channels have been added or removed, should the rules and descriptions be rewritten to more precisely convey what is or isn't against the rules, and to make sure all the rules posted don't conflict to tell people to redirect something to a channel that doesn't exist or say that edgy humor is allowed in a channel but not really define how edgy is too edgy?
As stated before, the channel was temporarily taken away, if folks behave and act like civized adults about it, it will return
For the time being we have taken away the political memes due to mass abuse of the channel and several concerned tickets as to behavior infractions
ah, I see, a few people got offended
@velvet frigate has just advanced to level 5.
Is this the only place the mods said it was temporary pending review?
Nope
ah, I found the post from a little under two hours ago, I had thought by the reactions it hadn't been stated
as for rules, 3.1 and 3.2 seemingly conflict, as the only clear definition I found for edgy humor had it being for either shock or facetiousness (from urban dictionary) and or controversial and offensive. I would assume neither of those definitions fit what was meant by edgy humor, so I would think something like "Ironic non-nsfw (under 3.1) memes are allowed"
It would be nice if people were told their posts broke the rules before the channel got nuked for it
that is done be some mods, and I think it's mostly warns but I don't know how relevant warns are for mutes and bans
and I do want an in depth explanation of how severe a warn, mute, or ban is, even if that means "attempts to exploit this system will be met with a minimum 5 day mute"
Multiple people getting warned per day in one channel should probably send the message "yo this stuff is against the rules"
But isn’t that the people breaking the rules fault not everyone’s?
Not when it has the highest warn count and is getting worse and worse. Its a break because it was too bad
